Inchlonaig House is a beautifully decorated contemporary holiday cottage located in the picturesque coastal village of Port William.
Ideal for families and large groups, the spacious 5 bedroom detached self catering holiday cottage is set in the beautiful countryside of Dumfries and Galloway, and sleeps eight adults (plus two children) in perfect luxury.
The house has 4 large bedrooms, the two king bedded rooms have ensuite facilities and flat screen TVs and the two twin bedded rooms share a large family bathroom. There is an additional childrens bunk room off the master bedrom making the house an ideal choice for families.
There is a large cot bed in one of the bedrooms and an additional travel cot can be provided on request. Two high chairs can also be provided.
The house has a large kitchen / family room which has been equipped with everything that you should require to cook and entertain whilst on holiday and plenty of seating at the breakfast bar for more informal dining.
There is a large spacious dining area which can accommodate 12 people.
The lounge is a large relaxing room with plenty of comfortable seating, patio doors to the rear garden and a gas coal effect fire. There is a 42” flat screen TV a DVD player, and a music system with IPod connection.

Each living area downstairs has its own TV, the one in the lounge has full Sky TV programmes including Movies and Sport channels and a Wii Console with games for the children.
There are also plenty of games, toys and books for the younger children and a large book and DVD collection for those wishing to relax.

There are a wealth of things to see and do near Port William, in Dumfries and Galloway.
This part of south west Scotland is filled with beautiful sandy beaches and rocky coves, countryside, coastal and woodland walks, sea and freshwater fishing.
This area is home to some of the best mountain bike trails in the country and some of the darkest skies in Europe making the night time starlight displays a sight to behold.
The influence of the North Atlantic Gulf Stream generally means the best of the weather in south west Scotland can be found here.
The Port William area
Port William is a bustling, friendly village, with a range of small local shops, a hotel and an excellent Restaurant.
There are fine sandy beaches in the village of Port William especially Second Sands beach which is just across the quiet road from the house and a five minute drive away is the beautiful Monreith beach, which is a long sandy beach with safe swimming areas, rock pools and some interesting caves.
With quiet roads, unspoilt scenery, contrasting landscapes and a mild climate this is an excellent area to cycle around. The Machars Cycle Route is right on our doorstep with three different routes which take in coast, countryside and places of interest.
Whether you want an easy stroll on a beach or through the forest, or a more strenuous hike, you will be spoilt for choice. There are over 40 summits topping 2000ft in the Galloway Hills with the Merrick at 2766ft being the highest in Southern Scotland.
This area is fantastic for golfing and you will find at least five great courses within half an hours drive of Inchlonaig.
