The Green is a Grade II listed three bedroomed character stone cottage with a colleyweston slate roof overlooking the green in the conservation village of Market Overton.Rutland is excellent for walking and cycling and The Green provides a perfect base for exploring the local footpaths and cycle tracks around Rutland Water.

The cottage is recently refurbished in a contemporary country style.Upstairs the main bedroom has a king sized bed,the second bedroom twin beds and the third a double bed,plus a bathroom with a bath/shower.Downstairs there is a sitting room and a snug with books, games, Flat Screen TV, DVD,ipod docking station and free Wifi.The Green has a wonderful light dining area in the Conservatory and a well appointed kitchen.

The pub The Black Bull and the village shop are a few minutes walk away.

There is a pretty,private back garden with a safe secure stone outhouse perfect for cycles,fishing rods and outdoor accessories.

The Rutland region

Rutland is a hidden gem whose motto is multo in parvo(much in little),Englands smallest county with the largest expansanse of man- made reservoir. It is said to be the Cotswolds without the crowds.There are many charming villages to investigate with their stone buildings and numeroius fine churches. It is a wonderful area for walking and Cycling.The Market towns of Oakham,Uppingham and Stanford have exellent public schools

Rutland Water is famous for its Birdfair.

The Vitruvian is a wonderful cycling event

The Burghley Horse trails are a yearly event.
