In breathtaking country surroundings on the North-East Coast of Scotland, Lilybank affords ample opportunity to experience the best of all that Scotland has to offer. World class walking, hiking, fishing and golf courses are all within easy reach, so guests will never be stuck for something to do or see.
Walkers can head off to the Angus Glens or coastal paths, where walkers of all abilities will enjoy the scenery. There are castles, nature reserves, historic villages and stately homes to visit, or head to the beaches, cliffs and harbours of Aberdeenshire and Angus coastline.
With all of Scotland's cities within 2 hours drive, Lilybank is the ideal location for touring Scotland.
Golfing outings can be arranged for you in advance as we have access to many excellent competition quality courses.

For the bird watcher, the surrounding area is regularly visited by heron, moorhen, owl, buzzard, kestrel, merlin and kingfisher, and a variety of seabirds including the Little Tern. There are harbours, Nature reserves, golfing, castle trail and distillery trail all within a reasonable drive of the property.
There are leisurely walks to the nearby fishing village of Johnshaven and beyond.
Within a 10 mile radius there are many leisure activities available, e.g. Golf, Bowling, Tennis, Swimming Pools, Horse Riding, two local Leisure Centres and numerous hotels.

Flying into Edinburgh or Glasgow Airport, head for Stirling and the North.
From Stirling, take the A90 North, heading towards Aberdeen, past Perth and Dundee.
Continue north on the A90 and take the right exit onto the B9120 exit (opposite Laurencekirk)
Follow the B9120 over Garvock Hill till you come to it's end, where it meets the A92 coastal road. Turn left onto the A92 heading towards Johnshaven and Inverbervie.
Take the second turning on the left onto a farmroad signposted Jackston and Mains of Bridgeton
Lilybank is at the right of the next small junction.
From Aberdeen, take the A90 South, heading towards Perth and Dundee.
