From the owner

Eden Lodge sits in the garden of a 15th century Manor House with private use of part of the garden with an additional alfresco Dining area Giving opportunities to soak up the sun. Accommodation provides double bedroom, beautiful shower room, fully fitted kitchen dining area comfortable seating in lounge area. The train station 5 minutes drive away is a main line railway station in Marden taking you to London in 57 minutes. It is also conveniently situation In the centre of kent with easy access to visit Leeds Castle, and many other national trust and heritage properties and Leisure attractions of Kent and Sussex most close by or reached in under an hour by car. Because we are in a rural position a car is essential as buses are few through Chainhurst.

The Two main towns which are within easy reach are Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone. Also Tonbridge and Ashford are not far away and it’s within reach of the south coast seaside towns. A Perfect getaway with parking in a unique, one off, relaxing position. There are many walks around the local area of Chainhurst and village of Marden only 2 miles away, only 5 minutes by car where there are a plethero of Kentish pubs and local shops.

Interaction with guest

Guest will have collect the keys within the checkin times after this they can come and go as they please. However, we will be on hand in the Manor House if required or guests can choose to be left alone. Due to Covid 19 it is now only on a self catering basis. Guest may bring there own breakfast and use the kitchen to cook there own. All bedding, towels and toiletries are supplied for your visit all freshly laundered according to Covid guidelines for your safety. The kitchen and dining area are fully equipped for all you needs, plates bowls cutlery, pots pans bowls ect., we hope you visit.

The Lodge has one double bedroom for maximum occupancy of two people. There is no facilities for children or pets. It is exclusively the only Lodge at the 15th century Manor House. Accommodation is double bedroom, Lounge Diner and Kitchen,and shower room. Comfortable seating in lounge area fully fitted kitchen, Newly fitted to high specifications shower room, breakfast table and chairs, all utensils and crockery provided. Rural position means a car is essential and One parking space provided.

Excellent accommodation and very friendly hosts. The lodge is situated within beautiful gardens and in a quiet countryside. Perfect place for relaxation or work that needs focus.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Elaine (the owner) a message.

If Elaine (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
