This delightful new barn conversion, completed in 2011, provides high quality holiday accommodation only a short drive from the beautiful Jurassic Coast. Arranged over three floors the house has been designed to make the most of the available space with a large sitting room on the top floor, an open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area (with cosy wood burner) located on the ground floor and with the three bedrooms situated in between. The bedroom accommodation includes one bedroom that can be made-up as either a double or twin room so that the house can comfortably cater for two sets of couples in double beds as well as for family groups. The West Country region
Did you know...Devon is the only county with two separate coastlines in the uk?
The county of Devon offers a patchwork of holiday styles, connecting the rugged open spaces of Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks, the sandy beaches of the English Riviera and little-known villages rich in custom and history of East Devon.
Devon’s Dartmoor National Park is the same size as London
Devon is famous for its cream teas, made with clotted cream, scones and jam
The Jurassic Coast in East Devon includes areas of rock dating 185 million years
Holidays in the mid and East of Devon combine a the vibrant city of Exeter, dramatic heritage coastline and unspoilt areas of outstanding natural beauty, all set against a backdrop of distinctive Devon culture and history.
Experience the rugged and distinctive landscape of Dartmoor National Park, with its stunning ancient monuments, stone circles, and rich, wonderful wildlife and the perfectly preserved towns with quaint streets full of olde worlde charm in the east of the region.
Exeter, the regional capital for culture, leisure and shopping, is a vibrant city brimming with character and steeped in ancient history. Exeter offers visitors a delightful mix of high quality attractions, restaurants and shops in a setting of architectural splendour.
One of England’s oldest holiday seaside-towns, Exmouth, boasts two miles of sandy beach. With fascinating rock pools to explore and waters ideal for swimming, windsurfing and waterskiing, Exmouth is a real draw for families.
Nestling beneath the majestic red cliffs of the Sid valley, Sidmouth is a regency town by the sea. With listed buildings along meandering streets of an award winning floral town, this beautiful coastal town retains much of its old world charm.Set in the very heartland of Devon and nestling in the foothills of northern Dartmoor, is Okehampton, a historic market town. The Castle, which is mentioned in the Doomsday Book, stands dramatically surrounded by natural woodland. Full of history and legends.
Tavistock is situated on the River Tavy and below the slopes of Dartmoor National Park. A former stannary town with Saxon beginnings, the town also boasts a thriving market scene. A farmers’ market is held on the town square twice a month and a covered pannier market held five days a week. Tavistock enjoys a full calendar of events throughout the year including the infamous Goose fair in October.
Situated on the Devonshire border with Somerset is the little village of Luppitt. Located in the heart of the Blackdown Hills - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – this lovely rural settlement is just three miles from the larger town of Honiton. The narrow country lanes which wind along fields, hedgerows, woodlands and isolated farmsteads join beautiful thatched cottages, village inns and long country walks to larger market towns – like local Honiton.

Luppit has an ancient parish church with a saxon font , Luppit is also home to the award winning beer , Otter ale , brewed in the parish.
