"Excellent accommodation in a lovely location"
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Field View, which is in a delightful location. We appreciated the warm welcome from our hosts, Eppie and Chris, which settled us in after a busy day's travelling. The apartment is well appointed and comfortable. Sunsets and sunrises over the field view are living pictures, seen from both living room and bedroom. It was a perfect place to relax between visits to family. Chris and Eppie are kind and considerate, the facilities are excellent and the secure parking is a bonus.

"This part of Essex is well worth a visit and Field View is the perfect starting place."
We were made very welcome by the owners when we arrived and they looked after us well during our stay. The apartment is very comfortable and is in a quiet setting with a lovely garden, a perfect place to relax after a day exploring the surrounding countryside etc.
Field View is quiet and peaceful but not too remote and is reasonably close to village shops and pub/restaurants. Plenty of walks around the local area. We had a very enjoyable week and we would certainly stay at Field View again.

"A pleasant relaxing stay"
We stayed for 3 nights in late May over the bank holiday weekend. We was given good instructions in what to do when we arrive and also information about a local farm shop.
The property was lovely and clean and really spacious ! The pictures don't do it justice and it is much bigger then the pictures describe. The kitchen had all utensils you can imagine. Additionally Chris and Eppie where always nearby for any queries or questions we had.
The owners also had a lovely dog who was always looking forward to seeing us. The garden is at the back of the property and if the weather was better we would have sat out on the decking much more. There is a walking path nearby the property which goes around the fields. The property has everything you can imagine for a well deserved break
We would definitely come back for a few days. The property is well situated and was very relaxing.

If you are looking to escape the rat race, for a quiet long weekend in the countryside, this is the place for you.
Chris and Eppie the owners, are the nicest people you could possible wish to meet. You simply go and come as you please and nothing is too much trouble.
The accommodation is immaculate, everything is self contained and the views to the rear of the annex are beautiful.
I would have no hesitation in returning there again.
