This is very clean and tidy, freshly refurbished, 1 double bedroom flat, within transport zone 2. The apartment is overlooking the Bow river canal and new Olympic stadium in East London, with excellent travel links. All rooms are very spacious and with modern furniture with plenty of storage space. Kitchen is smaller than the rest of the rooms, but very practical and fully equipped. All towels and linen are also provided, together with the welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and breakfast cereal for the duration of your stay. Overall, this is an ideal East London base for your vacation and/or work in the city. You will have sole use of the flat during your stay.

£80 per night is based on 2 people staying per night. Single and/or double airbed can be provided for 3rd and/or 4th person for extra £15/30 per night respectively.

The apartment is located in a very safe, gated block of flats on the 2nd floor, with added luxury of the gym, steam room and sauna facilities on the ground floor for no extra costs. The gym complex is open daily from 6AM-11PM. Concierge is present every weekday from 8AM-4PM, and on Saturdays from 8AM-12AM.

The apartment is at the back of the building and is very quiet. The only thing that might wake you up in the morning is the sound of ducks from the near-by canal; it is rather therapeutic though. Neighbours are mostly professional couples in mid 30's, very quiet and no children. There are few restaurants and/or bars close to the building; Dane's Yard Bar and Restaurant is highly recommended and only few minutes away.

Free use of gym and steam and sauna facilities is the best bit this place has to offer. It is open daily, from 6AM until 11PM and I strongly advise you to use it, - ok, perhaps not the 'torture chambers', sorry, the gym, but definitely the steam room and the sauna. - It gets busier only in the evening, from 7PM. As long as you are inside the gym complex before 11PM, you can stay in as much as you like.

The Central House is located just next to the East London Porsche Centre on the High Street, on the north side of the High Street. It is a convenient and well connected, accessible location if attending exhibitions or sporting events at Excel and O2 Arena, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park/Stadium and Victoria Park (Festivals: Field Day, Lovebox, As One In the Park); or if you are working locally, (3 Mills Studios, Stratford, Greenwich, Canary Wharf, Docklands & the City).

Best of all, the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park has now reopened to the public and it offers a fantastic array of sport activities and other attractions. You could swim in the Aquatic Centre for £4.50 or visit Arcelomittal Orbit; standing 114.5m tall, this extraordinary attraction is the result of a creative collaboration between world-renowned artist Sir Anish Kapoor, designer Cecil Balmond and ArcelorMittal, the world's largest steel and mining company. With two observation floors, at 76m and 80m, the ArcelorMittal Orbit provides visitors with stunning views over the Park and across London's famous skyline. Central London is 30 to 40 minutes away, depending on traffic. This is transport zone 2 and travel links are excellent; there are 4 Underground and/or Docklands Light Railway stations, all within 10 to 12 minutes on foot. Your closest station is Pudding Mill Lane, (DLR), and it is only 3 minutes away. Bow Road, (DLR), is 6 to 7 minutes away; Bow Church, (Tube) is 8 to 9 minutes away and Bromley-By-Bow, (Tube), is about 10 to 12 minutes away. Please see pictures for directions.

Stratford International train & bus/coach station is approximately 15 minutes walk away, (or quicker by bus), which provides direct access to Central, Jubilee, DLR, London Overground and other regional trains services, as well as coaches to Stansted Airport, which depart every 15 minutes.

Among others, bus number 25 operates very frequently and this is a 24-hour service to central London and Oxford Street.

On the other hand, if you are a sporty type and prefer cycling, there are 2 Barclay's Cycle Hire docking stations within a 5 minutes walk from my apartment.

Due to the London Olympic Games 2012, the entire Stratford area was vastly regenerated and developed, becoming the main retail hub for East London. Westfield Shopping Centre in Stratford is Europe's largest urban shopping and leisure centre, with more than 250 shops and 70 places to dine. A vast, bustling, covered shopping mall with numerous shops, stocking designer clothes for every pocket as well as high-end, luxury brand stores; an Apple store, a diverse range of food options, a 17-screen multiplex cinema and a 24hr Casino.

Heading west from Stratford, whether it's towards the trendy Shoreditch for nightlife, bohemian Hackney, London Fields & Victoria Park or the business districts within The City & Docklands, all are readily accessible via the frequent local bus services.

There are 2 local Tesco shops: Tesco Superstore and Tesco Express, both within 8 to 10 minutes on foot.

I am a 36-year old photographer and usually, I live here on my own. When rented, my girlfriend (yes I know, sorry ladies, :), gets to have me and sometimes she's very happy about that and sometimes not so much...

What can you say really, it's London... :)

East London, England

The area was the host to the London Olympic Games 2012 and it was completely regenerated. The biggest shopping centre was open in Stratford in 2012, one stop away or 15 minutes walk. The near by canal offers a beautiful and peaceful walk; it doesn't feel like London at all. The canal is also a very popular route for cyclists.

Travel links are excellent from here. Closest station is Pudding Mill Lane, (3 minutes), on the DLR, (Docklands Light Railway). Turn left from the gate and first left again; from there, keep walking straight ahead and/or follow the signs.

For the tube (underground), turn right from the gate, walk straight ahead, pass the roundabout, keep walking straight, pass the McDonalds, (to your right), keep walking straight, pass the Bow church, (to your left), keep walking straight, pass the Bow Church (DLR) station, (to your left) and arrive to Bow Road tube station, (to your left), 10 minutes walk.

There is also Bromley by Bow tube (underground) station close to Tesco, 10 minutes walk.

One 24-hour bus operates and stops right outside the gate, No25 as well as the night bus, No8.

Prior to the Olympics, we did not have much to offer in terms of coffee shops and restaurants, but things have changed now and continue to do so. Within a short walk, towards Stratford, restaurants and bars are now springing up. Central London is surprisingly close and you could even walk to it by the canal, should you fancy a good 75 minutes walk approximately.

"Very neat convenient apartment with a reliable host"

We stayed at Dejan's apartment for more than two weeks rather for business than for tourism. The apartment is just 6 minutes walk from Pudding Mill DLR station with very convenient links to both City and Canary Wharf, and it takes only 5 minutes to ride to Stratford shopping centre with plenty of restaurants. The apartment itself is perfectly neat, with all appliances in working order (washing machine, dishwasher, iron and ironing board, kettle, cooker and so on), very quiet and warm. Dejan responds to all inquiries fantastically fast (I believe it has been already said in reviews above) and appears to be a very reliable person. We would highly recommend the apartment for your London stay both for business and tourism.

"The ideal location for a holiday."

Very warm owner, clean and tidy rooms, excellently maintained toilet, well equipped kitchen. You never felt anything was missing. Proximity to shopping and restaurants, with bus and tube nearby. Gives you a good feeling. We had fun.

"Great London Apartment"

My husband and I stayed for two weeks at this great London apartment. This was our first trip overseas, travelling from Victoria, Australia. It was a five minute walk to the nearest station, Pudding Mill Lane, zone 2. Easy and quick access to London attractions, even for us who had no knowledge of London's transport system.
Dejan was quick to reply to our booking enquiry. He welcomed us on arrival and even left milk and a bowl of fruit for us. A big Tesco supermarket is a short walk away and a huge Westfield shopping centre in Stratford, a station away.
The apartment was very clean, safe and a welcome retreat after a hard day sight seeing!

"Perfect starting point to visit London"

Dejan is a wonderful host, very kind and helpuf at any time. His flat is comfortable, clean and in a good position for visiting London, placed within Metro zone 2 near both tube and DLR stations. The place is near Stratford station too, with direct and frequent links to Stansted airport (for people travelling Ryanair). There's also a Tesco supermarket a few steps away from the flat (opening times 6 am - 12 pm every day). What else? Thanks to Dejan for our amazing week in London!

"Great value"

The flat was exactly as advertised, neat and compact, well-lit, simply but adequately furnished with the necessary amenities and space for a couple to live comfortably for a fairly long stay (5 weeks). Dejan is a great and thoughtful host, readily reachable by email, text and phone to answer questions. When I enquired about something I thought should have been included in the flat, he agreed and provided just the right item for us. That plus the well-equipped kitchen with a drawer full of varied spices, were what I truly appreciated! While the eastside location is about 35-40 minutes out from central London, it is within walking distance to several tube lines, bus stops, and the DLR. The quiet neighborhood is an interesting mix of cultures and small shops, with the nearby Olympic grounds (undergoing additional construction), riverside walking, and the bustling Stratford mall of contemporary shops and restaurants located a couple of bus stops/one DLR stop away. This basic flat exactly suited our simple needs, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

"Great place to stay!"

This was a great flat to stay at! Dejan was a gracious host; he was easy to communicate with before, during, and after our stay, helpful with giving directions on how to get around, and overall just a really nice guy to work with. The flat was very clean and comfortable.The supermarket is a 10 min. walk down the street if you want to cook, or Stratford had lots of restuarants/cafes to choose from. It was easy to get to the city center- hop on the DLR right outside the complex, and then a quick 30 min subway ride (if you stay for a 6+ days, its cheaper to get a 7 day travelcard for zones 1-3). If I were to go to London again, I would definitely stay again. It felt like a home away from home.

"Can't go wrong with Dejan's apartment"

We just stayed three weeks at Dejan's apartment and to summarize it one sentence would be injustice to the exceptional experience we had at his apartment. We had an amazing welcome with Dejan coming to greet us on the first day and he explained thoroughly as to how everything worked and also stayed in contact with us over email all the time so this way when we didn't know how to work some things we got a quick response by him. My parents were very comfortable living in the apartment as this away from the hustle and bustle of central London while having the river outside was very pleasant.

Links to central were not more then 4mins away by bus or DLR or a pleasant 15 min walk to Stratford station which connected to central really easily. We had everything provided at the apartment from basic necessities till the luxury of having a dishwasher and a washing machine and this was really convenient for us to live easily for the three weeks while we were here. Really felt like home when we came back from a long day of sightseeing.

Overall, everything was amazing with the apartment and Dejan's hospitality was very much appreciated! I will definitely come back to Dejan again next year for my family's vacation and there is nothing that I would say I didn't like. Highly recommended!

"Unbeatable"

We have just finished a long-term stay at Dejan's apartment. He really does provide a 'home away from home'. We were very happy living there and genuinely sorry when the time came to pack up and leave. Dejan provides an incredibly warm welcome and gives clear instructions on how everything works. The apartment was spotlessly clean and a delight to live in. The surroundings are very quiet and the apartment itself bright and airy. Dejan's place is also very conveniently located for transport to central London (a short walk to either Bow Road or Stratford underground stations) or the 25 bus from just nearby takes you to Oxford St. Added extras include a great view of the Olympic Park and easy access to Westfield shopping centre. The sound of the ducks and canal walks nearby give a real countryside feel to this central location.

Dejan himself is a pleasure to deal with and he was also very helpful with a number of other aspects of our stay in London. We cannot recommend apartment rental through him highly enough, and certainly wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

"Spacious and clean"

Everything was as described. I enjoyed the gym which is in the building. The only thing is it might get busy in the evening. Dejan was courteous and prompt in his communication. Recommended
