The property is very cosy and fully centrally heated. Each radiator is individually thermostatically controlled. The addition of a woodburner adds a lovely glow and comfort on those chillier evenings. An initial big basket of logs is provided and thereafter further baskets of logs can be requested and paid for, as and when required.
We have a list of kitchen products that you will find in the cottage and will very happily email this to you if you are coming to stay, to avoid duplicate packing!
Further details outdoors:
The Old Stables has its own very large and private patio with garden furniture and a charcoal barbeque. It's mediterranean in style, with a long border of shrubs and pots and window boxes of colourful geraniums in the summer. A sheltered sun-trap and ideal for al fresco dining! You can walk straight from the door into some lovely countryside. There's a very good local village shop and tea room just a mile up the road (another very pleasant walk!) and our local pub, 75 yards down the road where good pub food is served. Just a short stroll!
