Explore breathtaking Aberdeenshire and visit striking castles to beautiful stately homes or discover Scotland's best known malt whiskey distilleries, especially along the valley of the River Spey.

Situated on the costal trail, castle trail and whiskey trail this part of Scotland really offers the visitor a unique experience.

Banff

Explore the costal trail which winds its way through dramatic scenery towards the stunning fishing villages of Gardenstown, Crovie and Pennan which are nestled amongst the cliffs. Towards Elgin are the costal villages of Portsoy, Cullen and many more for you to explore.

Enjoy a leisurely walk with friends and family along miles of long, golden, sandy beaches and rugged coast or spend sometime wandering through the old fishing ports, historic harbours and the marina to watch its creel and pleasure boats.Spectacular cliffs and seabird colonies can be explored around Banff.

Troup Head boasts the only mainland colony of gannets in Britain. Situated in the traditional fishing town of Macduff is the aquarium which features marine life from the Moray Firth. Take a powerboat tour on the North 58 where there are opportunities to see thousands of seabirds including gannets, guillemots, puffins, dolphins and minke whales or a three hour cruise aboard the Puffin along the scenic Moray Firth Coastline.

Fishing guests can fish for salmon and trout on the nearby River Deveron which is one of the top five salmon rivers in Scotland or also nearby is the River Spey which is one of Scotland's most prolific salmon and sea trout fisheries, attracting fishermen from all over the world.

It was a WOW!! when we walked in the house. Decorated to a very high standard. Clean and everything you would require in a house. Sit at the table for breakfast and have beautiful views of the beach.
Grandchildren loved the play park close by.
Location is excellent as close by to all amenities.
We have found the perfect place for a holiday and we will be back.
We will recommend this house to all family and friends.
Thanks Diane for renting your house.
