“Relax and slow down at Skyehaven.” Our first visit to Skye but hopefully not our last. Taigh na h-aibhne is a comfortable and well appointed cottage centrally located for easy access to all corners of Skye. The owner was very helpful and recommended an excellent restaurant to us. The cottage had a very homely feel to it and was very clean and well presented with good facilities. The cottage is very private but not isolated as Portree, with its shops, is only a few minutes by car. The weather was a bit dreich during our visit but this did not detract from the relaxed atmosphere. The only downside was the chaffinch which knocked on the huge picture window every morning!

“First Rate” Skeabost Wood Cottage is a fantastic property. The features and finish of the property are of the highest quality and it has a lovely warm inviting atmosphere. The views from the dining room window are simply stunning. I would recommend the property to anyone looking to stay in the Portree area.
