This handsome 18th century farmhouse is in a stunning location on the hilltop above Hebden Bridge, with spectacular views over the steep wooded valley of Hardcastle Crags and the ancient village of Heptonstall. Elmet Farmhouse is a historic Grade II listed stone-built, semi-detached cottage set in the small village of Pecket Well, two miles from the picturesque market town of Hebden Bridge. This cottage is stylishly furnished and sleeps six people in three spacious bedrooms, consisting of one king-size double, one twin and one second floor twin. The cottage has a large sitting room with a woodburning stove and a window seat, and a roomy well-equipped kitchen with a big oak dining table. There are two bathrooms, one with a bath and shower, the other on the second floor with a large walk-in shower. Outside, there's a pretty flower garden with a bench overlooking the lovely view and a lawned garden with a patio and outdoor dining furniture. The farmhouse is surrounded by open fields and has off road parking for three cars and secure bike storage. There are wonderful walks and cycle rides from the door, through bluebell woods, hay meadows and heather moors. Maps and guidebooks are provided, so you can explore the local area, including the National Trust valley of Hardcastle Crags, Heptonstall, Top Withens and Bronte Country. Haworth is only 7 miles away and Ilkley, Harrogate, York and the Yorkshire Dales are within easy driving distance.
