Situated peacefully on a large working farm close to the charming coastal town of North Berwick with fantastic shops, boutiques, pubs, eateries, railway station, golf courses, sandy beaches and historic buildings. The fabulous city of Edinburgh is a short drive or train journey away.There are numerous attractions and activities close by including John Muir Way, Scottish Sea Bird Centre, Tantallon Castle, Bass Rock, Berwick Law, Myrton Motor Museum, East Links Family Park, Museum of Flight and Glenkinchie Distillery. Leisure facilities: large indoor swimming pool, with water games. Pool open until 11 October 2014 and from 2 April - 9 October 2015. Games room: with pool table. Working farm: guests are welcome, by arrangement with owner, to go and visit and help feed the farm's chickens, horses and see the calves.
The fabulous accommodation offers FOUR bedrooms: 1 bunk room, on the ground floor, 1 master king-size on the first floor wing, spacious room with flatscreen TV/DVD and Freeview, there are also 2 substantial Z beds (for an addtional charge) that could accommodate a party with an additional 2 guests privately. 1 twin and 1 further king-size with flatscreen TV/DVD and Freeview, on the first floor second wing. Bathrooms: 1 shower room with WC, on the ground floor. Bathroom with WC and a further shower room with WC, on the first floor. Drawing/dining room: beautiful spacious room with ample seating, open fire (logs included) large flatscreen TV/DVD with Freeview, mini grand piano, iPod Dock and with a vast amount of books and impressive dining table. Lounge: large with electric woodburner, flatscreen TV/DVD with Freeview, 2 sofa beds (idea for party’s with children), large balcony with seating area and a spiral stair case leading down to garden. Large foyer: with breakfast table and chairs. Kitchen: well-equipped with aga oven, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. Utility: with freezer and washing machine. Outside: large enclosed garden with furniture and BBQ. Housed swimming pool with water sports. Guests are welcome to enjoy over 1000 acres of farmland and woodland with 2 picturesque lakes supporting a myriad of wildlife. Amenities: ample parking, registered landing strip for planes & helicopters. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and wi-fi included. Regret no smoking in the house. 3 dogs welcome, other dogs and animals maybe accepted by arrangement. Additional info: there is a £50 per person charge for use of the addtional Z beds. Location: beaches and all of North Berwick’s local facilities 2 miles. Arrival: 4 pm.
Dogs are charged at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
