1 of 5 properties 20 acres horses donkeys llamas and pigs a group of lovingly converted stone barns set in the beautiful north devon countryside. Here guests can relax on the farm where they are free to roam the 20 acres or take in the many nearby attractions such as the famous beaches the moors or explore the local towns and villages that are all within easy reach. The cottages have a warm and inviting atmosphere with woodburners in many of the properties for those cooler out of season evenings comfortable furnishings that are in keeping with the properties and many tasteful finishing touches. The owners have carefully retained much of the building s original character and exposed beams and each cottage is decorated in neutral colours with polished wooden floors throughout except grain cottage which is tiled and underfloor central heating throughout except wheat cottage which has radiators creating a warm and luxurious environment. Each cottage has an open-plan sitting room with a tv dvd video and hi-fi with kitchen and dining areas apart from wheat cottage which has a separate lounge dining room and kitchen which are tiled. The kitchens are fully equipped with an electric cooker microwave fridge/freezer and washer/dryer (except barley and grain cottages which only have a washing machine but benefit from use of a shared dryer). Spacious bedrooms that have good sized quality beds and ample wardrobe and storage space. Leisure facilities: guests are welcome to visit the on-site library that is stocked with books children s videos and toys or visit the children s outside play area. Farm activities: meet and interact with a variety of animals on the farm including horses donkeys llamas and pigs. Toddler friendly area with pond dipping animal handling and a chance to enjoy nature in a farm environment. Games room: indoor play barn with pool table table tennis and other games outside: each property has a private enclosed patio with garden furniture and disposable bbqs that can be bought on site at cost use of a shared riverside picnic area and access to farm walks.
