This bright and spacious one bedroom apartment offers accommodation for two people. A truly unique cosy 'Pied a Terre', located in the vibrant heart of Edinburgh's historic 'Old Town' and only a five minute walk to the exciting and busy Grassmarket area, and another two minutes to the famous Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle.

If you want to be in the heart of the city this quirky apartment is the perfect place to chill. It is cosy, comfortable and well equipped. Within 50 metres of stepping out you are welcomed with cafes, bars, numerous restaurants, historic attractions, art galleries, concert halls, museums and so many more exciting places of interest. Princes Street gardens is a ten minute walk from the apartment which will take you directly to Princes Street, Rose Street and George Street where you will find trendy shops and boutiques and many more restaurants.

Located on the second floor this traditional Old Town apartment has original sanded floors throughout and has been fully refurbished. The large bedroom has a king size bed, large built-in wardrobe and ample storage. The spacious lounge has a dining area for morning breakfast or romantic dinner. The separate kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, washing machine, fridge, kettle and toaster and microwave. The apartment is gas centrally heated with instant hot water and fully double glazed.

The bathroom is modern with electric shower, shower screen and large modern towel radiator.

All bedding and towels are provided.

I always like to personally meet my guests on arrival to hand over keys and to make sure the check-in process runs smoothly for them and any general questions they may have regarding how things work. Occasionally if I am on holiday and cannot be there to meet them there is a key safe system where they can collect the keys. The code is sent to them in advance and they are free to call me anytime during their stay. I have met so many wonderful guests over the years and will continue to provide an excellent first class service.

How do damage deposits work?

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Moira (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
