“Perfect location for lots of different beaches”

Reviewed 3 Aug 2013

Just arrived home after a week here, yet again had a lovely time. Chalet is clean and comfortable and has everything needed for your stay. The site itself is under development which was a bit disappointing but never ruined our stay as we was busy during the day exploring all of the beaches around the area so by night we was all shattered. When we did go to the small bar/arcade on site the bar staff were pleasant although drinks were over priced and there was no change in the machines to play the good old fashioned 2p machine ( but we got some from Newquay arcades) This is no reflection on the chalet... Great central location to lots of places, and as it states a different beach for everyday plus a few more if you don't mind the drive. Although I thought I wouldn't return I most likely will as there is so much to see and do and a week just isn't enough. Highly recommended for a family holiday or a couples retreat..

“Clean, well equipped accommodation with friendly and helpful owner”

Reviewed 7 May 2013

Accommodation was clean, compact and well equipped. All we needed was bed linen and towels. Friendly and helpful owner. Easy to find. Central location for visiting beaches and sites in the Padstow area. Was very quiet out of season, which was good for us. Great value for money for a great holiday.

“break from the norm, and recovery...”

Reviewed 30 Apr 2013

We stayed here for a short break in November after we had to cancel our main holiday due to my husband having a hip op. Great central location to lots of lovely beaches. Everything you need for a family holiday. Chalet was lovely and clean. Because of the time of the year we went nothing was open so I cant comment on site facilities. Rebooked for this year. woop woop... The owner was lovely and friendly and couldn't do enough to help, even phoned us to check we was happy... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED....

“A perfect little chalet for a relaxing break”

Reviewed 25 Nov 2012

We rented this chalet in 2012 and will be going back in 2013. It is a lovely little chalet in the quiet Atlantic bays park. We rented it with another couple (friends of ours) for 2 weeks. The chalet proved to be the perfect base for exploring Cornwall. In the sunshine we could relax on the patio, when it rained the chalet was warm and cozy. The owner was very friendly and well organised. The chalet itself was clean and tidy, with all the facilities you could need. The Jacuzzi type bath is brilliant. Having a fully equipped kitchen mean we could make our own food when we did not want to venture out and about. The only small annoyance was the TV as it was old and the picture had started to go, however I contacted the owner who has sorted this very minor problem. The chalet is ideally situated to visit all of Cornwall, with most areas within an hours drive. Padstow is just a short drive away and the local town St. Merryn has a shop, petrol station and a wonderful fish and chip shop and Chinese take away. Just across the road from Atlantic bays is another holiday park with a small shop and a pub/restaurant which serves excellent food at very reasonable prices. We loved the quiet surroundings and proximity to much of the beautiful Cornish landscape (sunsets on Constantine Bay are well worth an evening visit). Not really any negatives, maybe the pound meter for the electricity. You need to remember to get some pound coins, so not really a problem. Definitely a great find and we liked it so much we are booking again for 2013.
