From the owner

Kandinsky House is a sunny and spacious apartment conveniently located to easily reach Trastevere & downtown, main train stations and Fiumicino airport. With two large air conditioned bedrooms and a settee bed, up to six guests can comfortably be accommodated. Full kitchen and bathroom facilities, including a number of safety equipments, should make guests' self-catering stay comfortable and safe.

This recently refurbished apartment is located in Monteverde's residential area, only 10 Minutes from Trastevere and 15 from city centre by Tramway n. 8 , connecting also to Trastevere Station/Fiumicino Airport shuttle. The Express Bus H (stop at 20 m distance) connects directly to Termini Station, Rome's main railway hub.

Bus n. 719 connects to Metro B Piramide station and Ostiense railway station.

An Airport Shuttle service from/to Fiumicino or Ciampino airports can be arrangeg on request.

The apartment is on the second floor of an early 20th century building ; with two large air conditioned bedrooms (one double, one twin) and a foldable bed provides comfortable sleeping arrangement for up to five guests.

A spacious living room with well equipped kitchen (fridge, freezer, oven, microwave , toaster, kettle, dishwasher) and dining area provides enough space and facilities for a self-catering stay. High chair available on request.

The family bathroom, with shower, is fully equipped and includes hair drier , washing machine and

boiler for (unlimited) hot water and central heating.

Iron, ironing board and airing facilities are also available.

For guests' safety a full set of equipments is provided (emergency lighting, smoke sensors in the rooms, gas safety valves on the kitchen range, gas sensor in the kitchen, fire estinguisher, first aid kit)

High speed WiFi throughout and Ethernet access is available at no charge.

One of the best street food markets (Piazza San Giovanni Di Dio) and other food stores are at walking distance. Several restaurants, “pizzerie” and “trattorie” are available in the area.

Car parking in the area is free of charge, however a garage with wery reasonable prices is located at less than 150 meters fro the house.

An EUROPCAR car rental office is located in the same building block.

Small pets are welcome with previous agreement with owner. Smoking is not allowed inside the house, smoking addicted however can smoke on the balcony.

The house is equipped with a baby bed, high chair and soft top for changing babies.

The property contains a comprehensive welcome manual with all the aspects of the apartment as well as appliances instructions and supplementary local contacts.

Finally, Federico - the owner - lives locally and is usually available should there be assistance or information a guest needs. Check-in is performed in person, at which point a full tour is given, any question answered and keys handover performed.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Federico (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
