From the owner

The apartment is out of the hustle and bustle of central areas, in a quiet and residential zone, but well connected to the center (25min, bus+metro), Eur (10min, bus), Trastevere (20 minutes, bus or urban train) to Termini station (30 minutes, bus+metro) and Fiumicino airport (25 min, urban train).

110sqm, is large, bright, with a huge living room (with 1 sofa bed for 2 people) and three bedrooms of different sizes (1 with double bed , 1 with bunk bed for 2 , 1 with 3 single-beds), a kitchen fully equipped, two bathrooms and a large covered outdoor area, with table and chairs, it can comfortably accommodate 9 people , perfect for large families and groups of friends.

All the amenities: free WiFi Internet, digital TV, heating, 2 washing machines and a dishwasher, water electricity and gas :-), easy parking and at walking distance to all the shops and pizzerias of Via del Trullo (including a lovely local market), also close to the ER Israelite Hospital (you never know...), and nearby a nice small public park.

Included: clean linen, blankets, clean towels set (3 pieces per person), use of clean dishes and all kitchen tools, and a Welcome Pack offered by the house: first breakfast with coffee, milk, eggs, biscuits, marmelades and fresh fruit!

It will be a pleasure to welcome you and offer you all the information about the area and about Rome in general (and perhaps also to Out-of-Rome), and you will find this apartment perfect for your rest after a day out sightseeing in Rome.

About the neighborhood.

The location is SW of Rome, half way in the route City-Airport (Fiumicino), it's a residential, quiet and green area, although the apartment is 5 minutes away (walking) from Via del Trullo, a main street where you can find small shops, a nice local typical market with all you may need (grocery, butcher, fishfood and more), a discount supermarket, a "normal" supermarket and (taking a bus) a little shopping mall. If you want a big mall you'll have to take the Urban Train, but I doubt this will be interesting for you... :-)

How to move in Rome from Via Tempio di Dia?

Although it reaches almost every small corner of the city, the surface transportation in Rome is very complex and sometimes could result quite slow, therefore it is adviceable to only use it to commute to the nearest Metro (underground) or Urban Train station. Of course if there is none nearby, Buses are anyway a good option although must be considered a longer trip.

Rome offers integrated solutions for the transport tickets, therefore when you buy a ticket you can also use it for the Metro or the Urban Train, and these are some options:

METREBUS SYSTEM IN ROME ‐ TICKETS • BIT (€ 1,50) valid 100 minutes from first validation –unlimited journeys on the whole City network (one journey only on Metro/Train)

ROMA 24H (€ 7,00) valid 24 hours from first validation –unlimited journeys • ROMA 48H (€12,50) valid 48 hours from first validation –unlimited journeys. • ROMA 72H (€ 18,00) valid 3 days from first validation –unlimited journeys. • CIS (€ 24,00) valid 1 week from first validation –unlimited journeys.

Where can I use these tickets?

On all public transport within Rome:

- on buses, trams, trolleybuses and Cotral coaches

- on the metro lines A and B

- on Met.Ro regional trains: Rome-Lido, Viterbo, Pantano

- on Trenitalia regional trains (travelling second class)

Where can I buy these tickets?

At any Tobacco shop, Bus kiosk, Train and Metro Station. The nearest shop to this apartment is at 300mt, on Via del Trullo.

Note1: Kids under 10-years-old travel free if accompanied by an adult with the regular ticket.

Note2: There are also monthly tickets and other formulas, enquire within at the Stations/Kiosks/Shops.

Urban Train: Line FR1, Magliana station (main stops: Fiumicino Airport – Magliana – Trastevere – Ostiense (M) – Tuscolana (M) - Tiburtina)

Bus Lines on Via del Trullo: 228 – 719 (M) – 771 (M) / Bus on Via della Magliana: 128 (M)

Night Bus (Via del Trullo): Line N14 from Stazione Trastevere

Destination City Center (Coliseum/Roman forums): Urban Train to M Ostiense+Metro to Coliseum OR Bus 771 to M Eur Magliana+Metro to Coliseum (around 20/25 mins)

Destination Stazione Termini: Urban Train to M Ostiense+Metro to Termini OR Bus 771 to M Eur Magliana+Metro to Termini (around 25/30 mins)

Destination Trastevere: Bus 719 to Stazione Trastevere (around 10 mins)

Destination Vatican: Urban Train (or Bus 719) to Stazione Trastevere+Urban Train (FR3 or FR5) to S.Pietro (between 20 and 30 mins, depending on the trains/bus connections)

Destination Fiumicino Airport: Urban Train (but with specific Ticket to be purchased) to Airport (around 25)

Schedules

Urban Train FR1: every 15 mins (h06-20), every half hour (h20-23), none (h23-06)

Bus (average): every 15/20 mins (h05-24), every 10 mins in peak hours (h08-10 and h17-19)

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Pietro (the owner) a message.

If Pietro (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
