Bath Apartment Breaks luxurious, ground floor apartment in central Bath. Rated 4 Star Gold by Visit England and holder of a Rose Award for Service Excellence. Only a short, level stroll from all the sights, shops and restaurants of our lovely city - all really easy to find with our own digital 'City and Property Guide' which we will send you before you arrive!

Newly opened and furnished in January 2013, 3 Herschel Place has its own front door leading from a small private patio into the spacious open plan living room and kitchen/dining area. Furnished with plush leather sofas and oak furniture and equipped with TV, DVD player, Ipod dock and DAB radio, the living room is a lovely space for relaxing after a day visiting the sights and shops of Bath.

The contemporary kitchen has granite worksurfaces and fitted appliances, including a full-size dishwasher, fridge, freezer and clothes washer/dryer. You will also find a 'Nespresso' coffee machine (we leave you a few coffee pods to get you started) and a full range of china and glassware (including a few champagne glasses for any celebrations you might be planning!).

Both restful bedrooms have luxurious beds with crisp cotton bed linens from The White Company and plenty of pillows and cushions. The large main bedroom has a 6 ft bed which can be separated into twins, Shaker style wooden furniture, a built-in wardrobe and a TV opposite the bed. The en-suite shower room has a spacious shower and a heated towel rail laden with fluffy White Company towels.

The second bedroom is smaller but has a 5 ft king size bed which can also be separated into twins, a built-in wardrobe and a chest of drawers. This bedroom has a wall-mounted TV.

The family bathroom has a full-size bath with a shower over and a glass shower screen. As in the en-suite, there is a heated towel rail with the same fluffy towels.

Herschel Place is in the Bath Conservation Area and was carefully designed and built in 2008 to continue the line of the original Georgian terrace. All the characteristic architectural features of the Georgian terrace have been meticulously reproduced on the façade of the building but the development has the advantage of modern building techniques with insulation, draft-proofing and double glazing – a distinctly un-Georgian heating system keeps the apartment cosy all year round!

Free wi-fi can be accessed throughout the apartment.

Outside the front door of the apartment there is a small, gated patio area with table and chairs and an allocated, off-road parking space (a rarity for central Bath, a city where the roads were built for horses, rather than cars!).

Once you arrive at Herschel Place, a car is no longer needed as the heart of the city is on your doorstep. A level stroll of less than 10 minutes takes you past Georgian terraces, onto Pulteney Bridge and the centre of the city with its world famous sights and shops.

Even closer to the apartment are the beautiful Holburne Museum, Sydney Gardens and access to the towpath for the Kennet and Avon canal.

Bath has countless restaurants and cafes to suit every taste and many are only a short stroll away. Food shopping is also easy, with an excellent Waitrose nearby and several other supermarkets at a short distance.

At 3 Herschel Place we have tried to create a warm and welcoming apartment which will give you the space, freedom and all the comforts needed for an enjoyable and relaxing visit to one of Britain's most beautiful and interesting cities. Please note:

For 2 night stays over bank holiday weekends Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights are charged as weekend nights (ie 2 night stay over a bank holiday is charged at £450).

For 3 night stays over bank holiday weekends Friday and Saturday are charged as weekend nights but Sunday is charged at the weekday rate (ie 3 night stay over a bank holiday is charged at £645).

Easter Sunday is charged at the weekend rate.

Terms and conditions (including our cancellation policy) are available on request and will also be sent with your booking confirmation. A non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver of £10 is charged per booking, this insures you against accidental damage to the apartment.

LOW SEASON WEEKEND SPECIAL OFFER: stay Friday and Saturday nights during the low season and book Sunday night for £100. Contact us directly for this rate, as it can't be booked through either our website or the Holiday Lettings site (we need to create a manual booking for you).


If you book more than 4 weeks before arrival, we require a 50% deposit, with the balance payable 4 weeks before arrival. Bookings less than 4 weeks before arrival are payable in full, at the time of booking.

I stayed here with a friend for a long weekend. The apartment is beautifully appointed with top of the range equipment and linens. Most welcome were the added extras of home made bread and toiletries. Well positioned for exploring the beautful city of Bath and a most efficient and welcoming host.

From start to finish Alison was extremely helpful. The apartment was warm, comfortable and luxurious. Comfortable beds, lovely touches the emergency feminine bag, good wooded coat hangers. I would recommend this apartment to friends and family and will definitely revisit. The food you can purchase via Alison was great value for money and was in the fridge waiting for us. Perfect weekend, thank you Alison.

We have visited Bath several times and tend to book apartments now our children are teenagers. Number3 certainly met our needs. It was beautifully decorated and had all mod cons including the teenagers number 1 requirement (WiFi!). It has a parking space which is a real bonus, and is only 10 mins from the shops and attractions. We would definitively book this apartment again in the future.

I stayed here with 3 other friends on a girls weekend in Bath. We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay and felt very much at home. We were greeted by Alison who handed over the keys and explained where everything was. She had left us a lovely breakfast package containing freshly baked bread, jams, cereals, orange juice and tea bags which was a lovely treat for us on our first morning. The apartment was clean and well looked after. The small details like butter and chilled water waiting in the fridge and individual shampoo and shower gels from The White Company really made that extra difference. The location was great and after a ten minute stroll we were in the city centre. I would definitely think about staying here in the future should I ever find myself in bath with friends again.

Fantastic luxury apartment in a great location within a 10 minute flat walk of town centre. The lovely fluffy towels and excellent quality fittings make this a great apartment for a special occasion. We visited with my elderly mum who has mobility problems and this ground floor apartment gave her the fantastic opportunity to have a luxury stay in Bath, which she enjoyed very much. Thank you Alison and Peter mum had a brilliant time.

A really well presented and convienient ground floor apartment in central Bath. Easy off road parking for car. Friendly and helpful owners who are there if you need them. Lovely homemade fresh bread for breakfast along with cereals, milk, tea, coffee, orange juice, butter, jam and shortbread. Everything really clean and welcoming.strongly recommended. 10minutes walk ito Milsom street shops and restaurants. Definatly visit again.

This apartment is amazing. It is very modern, spacious and in an ideal location, with parking included. The homemade bread, biscuits and supplies for the first days breakfast were a very well received extra touch.
