Description

This sumptuous 18th century 1st floor apartment has an open-plan living room with three vast Georgian windows that look directly over the River Avon, Pulteney Bridge, the historic buildings of Bath and the rolling countryside beyond. It's a rare vantage point in the centre of this beautiful city, and with the soothing sound of water over the weir in the background, you could easily forget that you were in a city at all.

The building was designed by Robert Adam (c. 1790) and this magnificent apartment has been beautifully restored, retaining wonderful period detail along with luxurious contemporary adaptations. It is adjacent to the famous Pulteney Bridge, which is featured in many postcards and souvenirs and, like the Ponte Vecchio in Florence is lined with shops on either side. Everthing truly is on your doorstep in this city centre property.
