A narrow porch opens up to a bright open-plan living and dining room with a cream sofa and armchair, TV, DVD and good selection of books. French doors open to an attractive green walled courtyard with mews houses and parking bays. There is an extending dining table to seat 4.

The compact and contemporary cream kitchen is new, looks good and is well laid out and well provisioned. There is a gas hob, an electric oven, a microwave, a small dishwasher and a washing machine.

Upstairs is a charming honey-coloured double room with a twin bed that zips together to become a king size bed (5 ft). There is a fitted wardrobe and chest of drawers and two small windows facing the back of tall Georgian terraces. Another pretty little room in olive green has a single bed and some storage.

Location description from owner

The England region

The area within which the city of Bath is found is rich in heritage and culture; with over 800 Grade 1 & 2 listed buildings.

In the greater area of Somerset there is much to do and see; with the added benefit of having some of the best of the British weather! Somerset's beautiful countryside has attracted many famous individuals throughout history; including Sir William Wordsworth an English poet laureate of the 19th Century.

Somerset has great historical significance, and has played a part in every period including the Roman Conquest, the Norman invasion, the War of the Roses, and even right up till the present day!

West Country

Nearby is the world renowned Royal Crescent and handsome Circus.

They lead into the Royal Victoria Park, an extensive area with indoor/outdoor tennis courts and mini golf, a botanic garden and a huge adventure park for children. Hot air balloon flights also take off from here. The Approach 18 hole golf course is 5 minutes walk away and has wonderful views of Bath and the surrounding hills. The surrounding streets provide great local amenities. At the top of the road is a good bistro -The Chequers, and a handy Co-op supermarket, whilst at the other end is Margaret's Buildings - a pedestrianised Georgian shopping arcade with cafés, restaurants, galleries and gorgeous boutiques.

Close by is St James Parade with a newsagents, Italian deli and coffee shop, a chemist, organic green-grocers, florist, and art gallery. From the house, it is an easy stroll to the Assembly rooms and several excellent small museums. Continue into Bath city centre, where there are further beautiful historic sites, wonderful shopping, and a great choice of cafes, bars, restaurants, museums and galleries. There is a Waitrose supermarket in the city centre. The property comes with a designated parking space for 1 car. Alternatively the Bath Spa railway and bus station are a 15 minute walk away.
