A modern ground floor pet friendly apartment in central Ambleside, sleeping two people in one bedroom.Long Crag Annexe is a modern ground floor apartment in Ambleside, the heart of the lakes. Offering comfortable, spacious and affordable accommodation for a couple, the apartment has a king size bedroom and a modern shower room, a lovely large living room with gorgeous views over the fells and a well equipped dining kitchen. The apartment is dog friendly and you have shared use (with the owner) of the garden with its magnificent views, pretty planting and garden furniture. There's also one off road parking space for your car. The lively town of Ambleside and the exceptional countryside beyond have a great deal to offer a couple looking to get away from it all, whatever the time of year, and Long Crag Annexe is the perfect base to explore everything the Lake District has to offer.

Some of the best walks can be enjoyed in and around Ambleside, Stockghyll Falls and Wansfell can be walked straight from the door or jump in the car or an open top bus and head towards Grasmere or Langdale where you will find some of the best walks and dramatic scenery the Lakes have to offer.

We are pleased to learn you enjoyed the location of the property within Ambleside and used it as a base to explore the surrounding area. Also, the property was clean and was well equipped for your stay. On regards to the comments you have raised, Lakes Cottage Holidays do not advertise that the garden is enclosed and there is photographs on our website showing the garden area. Our website also states there is only space to park one car. According to our records, we were not contacted during your stay, if we were we could of spoken to the owner for you to ask if there were any further instructions for the appliances. Since learning that you found a lack of information in the property, we are investigating this with the owner for future guests. Lakes Cottage Holidays pride ourselves in our customer service and we are sorry that you feel that there were some issues during your stay.
