“Excellent Location - beautiful apartment” We had a delightful stay in this immaculate and well situated apartment. It has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. This 2 bedroom apartment ticks virtually all of the boxes. Apartment 285 is bright and airy and beautifully furnished. It was really well equipped with virtually everything you could ever wish for – air conditioning, full size washing machine, tv with lots of channels, dvds, books, games, beach towels. No wifi in the apartment but available free at the Azul Restaurant on the complex which was located just 2 minutes from the apartment. Lovely large south facing garden equipped with sunbeds and patio furniture – we enjoyed many meals al fresco! The complex itself is very secure and very well maintained. The pools were magnificent! Very convenient for the local bus network and only a short stroll to Old Town and main beach. Would highly recommend - a great place to chill!!

“Lovely appartment with everything we needed.” The appartment is a great size and wonderful outside space. The complex was really quiet while we were there so we pretty much had the pool(s) to ourselves. It was a bit of a walk out to the shops and restaurants with young ones but they got used to it by the end of the week! We managed to get around either on foot or using the local taxi service but a hire car could be useful. The booking and airport pick up was all very smooth and easy so thank you Tracey!

“Fabulous villa near beach restaurants no need for a car” Firstly Shauna and Gary were so helpful before and during our stay. We were a family party of 10. The villa was like a tardis absolutely amazing and the en suite bathrooms and extra bathrooms a big bonus and could not fault the villa in any way. The pool again was fantastic. The beaches were easy walking distance and were lovely as were the restaurants and bars. We did not need to hire a car. When we did go out we called a taxi which was very reasonable. Supermarket couple minutes walk. Absolutely fabulous holiday the only thing was we wished we had stayed longer than 2 weeks. Thank you so much Shauna and Gary we had such a fabulous family holiday. Would definitely come again (if villa ever free) and would definitely recommend to anybody.

“A Home away from Home!” What a fantastic find in Lagos. From initial contact with Jan and Neil to vacating the property the whole process was seamless. The apartment is within walking distance to all amenities. A supermarket (Pingo Doce) is 1 km away and a bus runs past the apartment block for those who don't want to walk. Nothing in the apartment has been forgotten, shopping bags and trolley etc. The WiFi was excellent and numerous TV channels to watch (if your into that). They have a wonderful policy which includes please use everything provided just replace when used (this suited us perfectly)!!! The beach is also about 1 km away, with great views from the balcony. We could definitely recommend the apartment and Lagos as a destination to explore, all very easy. Thanks Jan and Neil :)

“An Excellent Holiday” We recently returned from the Apartment in o pomar and traveled with my wife daughter and her cousin and my elderly parents. We were looking for a "Home from Home" apartment with some quality and that is exactly what we got. We had excellent communication before we traveled with Francis and was met by Ann(the agent) on arrival who explained everything about the apartment and area very well. The apartment is obviously very new and has fantastic facilities which are all modern and easy to use. We wanted a quiet location with easy access for my parents and again this was exactly what we got. The pool area is only about 75 yards from the apartment and is very clean and safe with security access and a life guard on duty nearly all the time. it was height of the season and therefore we had to be by the pool early to get beds and as usual some visitors would lay towels but not arrive till pm which was frustrating for some people as got quite busy and especially at the weekend. The best thing though was the new restaurant (vert in ) as i have never eaten at a better restaurant abroad which offered quality food for reasonable pricing presented extremely well and in good time! i cannot recommend this place highly enough, but be warned good news spreads fast so book early each day! The beach front is about a 15 min walk or train ride for elderly and young and then you have to get a boat ride to the other side of the jetty and then it is about a 400 mtr walk which proved a little too much for my parents so we only went once. There are probably other restaurants and areas to visit but due to my parents inability to get about we just relaxed in the complex each day. the only down side was lack of on site shop but i enjoyed the 10 mins walk each day for bits and pieces as we didn't have a car. Our overall experience was great and we would definitely recommend to others looking for a quiet relaxing holiday and hope to return again.

“Perfect location” Lovely, spacious villa and very well equipped. Very comfy beds. Ideally located for children as pool, playground and grass area on the doorstep. Great to have free wi fi. Beach and restaurants 15min walk away. Would definitely return.

“Superb apartment and a great, family-friendly resort” We stayed in Phil and Debbie's apartment for a week in August 2014 and had a superb time. The apartment itself was extremely spacious, beautifully kept and ideal for two adults and two children (aged 8 and 5). We spent plenty of time at the pool and enjoyed chatting with the other holidaymakers. The resort of Sao Martinho do Porto is perfect for families. A huge, safe beach, lots of nice restautrants and ice-cream parlours on the sea-front and a wonderful friendly atmosphere wherever you go. I would thoroughly recommend this for a holiday and hope that we will return ourselves one day. One tip - as we were only there for a week, we decided to get a taxi from Lisbon airport rather than hire a car. Debbie very helpfully arranged this for us and at 100 Euros each way it worked out a lot cheaper than car hire.
