“Great tropical feel complex in the Algarve” Massive apartment , good wheelchair access in and around complex. The only problem would be the bathroom for some as quite small and wheelchair not able to get right in. However the rest of the apartment was fully accessible. Easy near by parking. The most amazing huge balcony with sun all day. No step anywhere.

“Perfect location” Lovely, spacious villa and very well equipped. Very comfy beds. Ideally located for children as pool, playground and grass area on the doorstep. Great to have free wi fi. Beach and restaurants 15min walk away. Would definitely return.

“Great apartment in the popular Alto Club” Just back from a great family holiday in Alvor. The Alto Club has a great pool and is just a short walk from the beach and town centre. The apartment was lovely with a great balcony. All appliances and AC worked perfectly. The owner was great to deal with and we would consider this apartment for future holidays.

“Perfect location, great appartment!” This was our first time in Portugal and I can say we're definitely going back. We've rented holiday appartments before but this was the best so far. There's no need to rent a car, you can find all activities within walking distance. We definitely recommend it and look forward to going back again. Thanks Paul for all your recommendations!

“Home from home winter break” We have visited this site many times, but this is the first time we have stayed in 'Tidings'. Chris and Tony were very welcoming from the outset, and couldn't have been more helpful. The property was similar to others we have stayed in, but we could tell it was very much their second home rather than just a rental. The Alto Club is great site with nice gardens and two pools, plus a gym and tennis courts for the more energetic. We restricted ourselves to a gentle stroll into town each evening and although a lot of restaurants were closed, there were still plenty to choose from. Our favourites were the Alvor Wine bar and 'O Arco da Velha' , where the fish is magnificent. Alvor was very quite and the weather was cloudy but pleasantly warm and quite hot when the sun broke through. Will definitely be returning

“Beautiful Villa” This villa is stunning. Everything you need and in a quiet area, although we were warned about burglaries in the area. Decor was of a very high standard. All in all, an absolutely beautiful and very large (the photos do not do it justice) villa. The only reason I have not given it an "excellent" rating is because we paid extra to have the pool heated and when we arrived we discovered that the pool had not been heated and that it was thought that the gardner must have switched it off. On returning home I asked the owner if he was going to refund the extra money I paid to have the pool heated, as the gardner switching it off was not my fault, but he didn't want to refund me the money and ignored further emails. It was a shame about this, as I now wont stay in it again, but it really is lovely.

“Our treatment by the owner was the best, as was the condo and its incredible location.” Our recently completed say at Doce Bliss was nothing short of exceptional. From the initial booking in October 2016, the owner has been in regular contact to ensure all things went smoothly. The condo is clean and well appointed, right down to teh welcome note from the owner and two bottles of complimentary wine. During our stay she also checked in to see how things were going, as did her support person on the ground. Jill runs a respectable, clean and ideally located operation. Will most definitely be recommending Doce Bliss to others and would not hesitate returning for an extended stay.

“Fabulous apartment just a short stroll to marina and town.” Just returned from 10 days stay at this apartment and had a fabulous time. Apartment has everything you could wish for, modern and clean. Lovely large balcony with sun loungers to relax after returning from day out. Loved the location to the marina where we spent time people watching at the cafes and bars. Took a boat trip to see the dolphins which is a must and also the boat trip to see the caves.

“Lovely comfortable apartment in an excellent location for all ages” The apartment is well decorated, well equipped, really spacious, lives up to the photos - you won't be disappointed. It is in a small complex with indoor and outdoor pool and gym, and with everything else you could want a short walk away. The town (5 mins walk) has lots of shops and restaurants (and bars for our older children (18-19)). The supermarket next door was so convenient - they also did hot food take out, so if we didn't feel like cooking we could go and get a couple of cooked chickens and some salad. The beach was also within walking distance, but as it was very hot when we were there we tended to stick to the pool. Wifi access was good - an essential for the teenagers. Altogether, we had a really good holiday, and the comfort and spaciousness of the apartment, and easy access to everything else made it harmonious and relaxing for all.
