“Time to relax and enjoy” The Villa is very beautiful and well equipped. Upon arrival we were greeted with a bowl of fruit and wonderful flowers. The fridge was filled with all we needed for our first breakfast. There even is a house bar and a supply of wine. The house is in excellent condition and offers a lot of space and freedom. The kitchen is equipped with all you may need if you want to cook. The outside barbecue works perfectly. The garden is very well tended and offers quite a few places to sit down and relax. You may always find a place in the sun or shade, just as you like. The pool was heated as requested and in good condition. The views from the villa are great and it only takes a 5 minute walk to the beach. The supermarkets are a little further away, therefore a car is recommendable. There are quite a few places to visit in the area. The owners are very helpful with recommendations and directions. We had a wonderful relaxing time and enjoyed the villa thoroughly.

“Marvelous gem close to Abufeira” Rented for 2 weeks with 3 other couples. Very comfortable and easy access to one of the best beaches in Europe. About a 20 minute walk up and down hill into town or the 'strip'. Beautiful ocean views and within earshot of the pounding surf.Have to pay extra for a 'hot' hottub and pool - not required in our case.

“Great villa that never stands still. Always developing and improving.” I have been coming to villa camaleao for 12 consecutive years and not only do I never tire of the Algarve I always really enjoy spending time relaxing in the comfort of the villa and its wonderful outside space. Owners Janie and Steve make us most welcome and I fully appreciate the pride they take in operating the villa and the effort they put in to ensure the holiday experience received is special for all their guests What is pleasing is their drive for continued development and modernisation. Each year there is a new project and not only is villa continually updated and maintained there is always a new suprise that enhances our holiday. I can highly recommend villa camaleao which not only accomodates large groups and families but is big enough to give everyone their own space.

“Beautiful Villa with a real wow factor.” Just about to book another holiday for our family at this superb villa. All of the rooms are furnished and equipped to 5 star standards, the garden is beautifully landscaped with orange and olive trees and there are plenty of loungers around the large pool area, as well as a decent sized BBQ shaded from the sun. There is also a well stocked media room with loads of Dvd's and games. The resort of Quinta is premier class and there are a number of good restaurants & takeaways close by catering for every taste with a further wide range of shops and supermarkets at nearby almancil. The villa has a lovely large dining room and it is easy to organise a chef to come in to do the cooking if you don't feel like cooking. There are a number of prestigious golf courses in the area and bike hire is available nearby.However the pleasure for us of Villa Vermonte is that it is quiet and relaxing and has everything we all need. We just like to chill out in the luxurious surroundings and rarely venture out of the front gate!!

“Spectacular 5 star 20 / 10” we stayed in the villa for 6days . However 6 days was not enough as we wanted to stay longer, the villa is so beautiful inside and out . We have stayed in this area for 14yrs and this is by far the best . Elsa the owner was so kind and couldnt do enough for us it was definately home from home if not better . We will definately be booking for nxt year .

“A great find!” We stayed in the house for 2 weeks In July 2013 and can honestly say that we had a wonderful time. The booking process with the owner was really straightforward and we had excellent communication with her and the property management team before and during our stay. The house is beautifully furnished to a very high standard and is very well maintained (cleaner and pool/garden maintenance weekly). We have stayed in lots of privately owned villas/apartments and this was certainly in our top three favourites! It is in an excellent location to access the supermarket, golf course and complex, local restaurant in Budens and the beautiful coastline, particularly Salema. We feel a car is a must to make the most of the area. The house is terraced and hence the pool area is overlooked by the neighbours, but it still afforded relaxation, peace and quiet, with lovely views over the golf course. The only slightly negative comment we would make is that the sun-loungers weren't the most comfortable and the outside table and chairs could be updated but neither of these things would deter us from booking again. If this is your first visit to this part of Portugal we would advise you to take a jumper/cardigan for the evenings, as there is a very strong wind which could be quite chilly (even in July!). The days were idyllic though. We would not hesitate to book again!

“Great villa and location for a family holiday” The villa is ideal for families. Set in a rural area, but only 20minutes from Faro and within easy reach of Moncarapacho, the larger town of Olhao and lovely beaches. The villa was spacious and clean and had everything we needed for our comfort. The heated pool was a big hit for the whole family and used constantly.The availability of wi-fi was an added bonus. There were plenty of games and activities for all ages. We hope to return in the not too distant future. Janet Wilson

“Stunning 5* holiday experience” My family and I would thoroughly recommend this villa. It is situated in a beautiful location with stunning views. The villa itself has everything you require for a comfortable stay and the owner could not have been more helpful. The heated swimming pool was a huge hit with our children. The villa is a short walk away from a large shopping complex and other amenities. It is also a short walk away from a variety of restaurants and bars. We would love to return to this villa in the future.
