“Excellent Villa” We have just got back from our holiday in Portugal The villa was excellent for us because there are 10-12 of us we always holiday in villas. We have been doing this for the past 6 years in various resorts in turkey and Spain etc, but villa mor has been the best by far for our needs. The kids loved the fact we had wi-fi The men loved the table tennis and pool table and the satellite tv for the football. There was also all the sky movie channels which was great. The rooms were all just perfect for us all. We did have to call out the villa manager once to refill the hot tub for us. But he came out as soon as he could and fixed the problem. We had a great holiday in a beautiful villa in a beautiful town. And if we ever came back to Portugal I would not hesitate to book villa mor again. Tom the villa owner was very helpful and answered any questions i had as soon as he could, he booked the transfers to and from the airport which was a big help. Overall a great holiday had by all and made better by the standard of the villa Steve

“Solitude” We are back again, this time was just as good as the first time, if not better, as the work done to the property enhances it further. We stayed in the master bedroom, which has a new en-suite. The views of Faro and surrounding area from the bed or balcony are spectacular at dawn, daytime or dusk. A visit to one of the local markets and also the Roman ruins at Estoi, are well worth it. We spent most of the time sunbathing at the poolside in the beautiful, hidden and quiet surroundings. There are plenty of supermarkets if you wanted to cater for yourself,as the kitchen is well equipped, however there are also numerous places to eat, Traditional fish restaurants, Indian, Chinese, including an Italian ( my favourite ) in Santa Barbara de Nexe, Looking forward to our next stay in the near future.

“A beautiful villa in a tranquil location” The villa was very well presented with ample space and excellent facilities, a lovely garden with large dip pool made it a very enjoyable and relaxing place to stay. Only downside without a car was the distance from the nearest supermarket which was approximately 2km away. Maria and the team were very helpful and sorted out any issues we had promptly and without any fuss.

“Beautiful rural location, gorgeous pool, spacious villa needs updating” Had a wonderful week-long stay at Villa D'Avozinha with our 4 and 1 year old boys. The pool is the highlight - we paid €120 to have it heated - well worth it as our neighbours said theirs was freezing. The villa and grounds are spacious and the neighbouring orchard is a real bonus with plentiful oranges, grapefruits and lemons daily. Geese and hens (behind wire fences) were a delight for our children and a swing and a slide on site were also plus-points. The only downside is that the villa furnishings need updating - kitchen and bathrooms work fine but are dated (nice hot powerful shower). Our bed was very very uncomfortable. We were grateful for a cot and high chair as well as beach and pool toys plus a selection of building blocks - all meant we didn't have to pack all the 'extras' for the kids. We booked the holiday as a package with Thomson and it included a basic hire car which we paid to upgrade. There are many superb beaches with lovely beach-side restaurants within a half hour drive. Our favourites were Burgau and Salema. Would we return? Yes if the bed was changed!! And finally, huge thanks to Teresa and Jose the owners who live next door - the welcome hamper was much appreciated and my husband was particularly pleased to be able to watch the FA Cup final with you!!!
