“No title could do justice...” No title could do justice to the experience of staying here. Pauline was a great host; helpful, on hand when needed yet unintrusive. She gave local recommendations when asked for and was a breeze to communicate and organise with. It is hard to appreciate a good host until one experiences to the contrary, but we were in very good hands from start to finish. The farmhouse itself is beautiful, quite classically decorated and the rooms are well-appointed. If you're reading this then I'm guessing you want to know whether or not you want to stay here. Here are some things which may help. Highlights (for us): - the gas BBQ & grill on the patio - the incredible view, including sunrise from the balcony. - the location is so peaceful but so connected for when you want (see below). No disturbances. - within hazy-stumbling distance of Xaghra Square (honestly 7, straight-line minutes), Ramla Bay (20) and some really old ancient things (10). - air conditioning - spacious, not just in sleeping capacity but also in living areas i.e. kitchen and living room. It can entertain as many as it can sleep. - Gozo transport is incredibly cheap, efficient and good quality. - the local community are warm, good-humoured and friendly. Some things to be prepared for: - mosquitos will have a go, unless the farmhouse is since equipped with nets, guards or working deterrents. - that's about it. In case it's helpful - we're in our mid-twenties. We saw mostly older families/friends here (and not overrun with tourists in May/June). We found Gozo & Malta neither too quiet nor too hectic, and with plenty of room for either extreme if you so desire. Take a good book for the poolside and go clubbing in La Grotta on Friday night/morning. Gozo is beautiful. You should go. Just leave room for us.

“excellent place to stay” Make sure you look into a good car hire place and explore the island. The farmhouse is a brilliant base to visit all of this island as its pretty central. Lovely beaches close by also an excellent place to just relax in for the day.

“Perfect Malta rental...by all means” My family and me, four in total, had 10 supreme days in one of Ray's apartments located in a tranquil area in Mellieha. Both the quality of the apartment and the outer facilities are of high class, and so is the view over the valley from the pool area. Around 20 minutes by foot to Mellieha Bay with one of the best sandy beaches...alternatively 5-7 minutes to the nearest bus stop, offering trouble-free and frequent transportation, whether it is to Mellieha Bay or Valetta. Ray and his family are very helpfull and strives to make your stay in Malta as comfortable as possible, and can be fully recommended. Thank you, Debono's, for a very nice holiday in your apartment and lovely country...we will be back again.

“Gozer un paraiso a Gozo” Me and my partner stayed for ten dais at Razzett Dhyana and we want to go there again and again. It is like paradise on earth and one of the most spiritual places I have been in ever. We never see the stars so bright as here and with many shooting stars. The peace is like magic and the island of Gozo is fantastic. So beautiful, historic and calm. Ana is a wonderful host and help us with everything we need or want to know. The house is superb and with much character and the land around is amazing. In Gozo everywhere is close and everythging is so beautiful as well as the people and the food and the sea. It is like being in another world. We want to go again for sure. Thank you for the wonderfull experience. Mikel and Susanna.

“Quiet location in safe area.” Clean basic apartment on 3rd floor. Only air con in bedroom 1 didn't work but all fans very adequate. Excellent shower in bathroom, and if you decide to cook, plenty of utensils. Roof terrace good if you want some private sunbathing etc. Joe is very helpful, replies to any enquirers promptly prior to stay, was at airport to pick up and kindly allowed us to stay until after 6pm on departure day as we had late flight. Hassle free completely. Would recommend. Town is quiet at night, but buses regular and cheap to all parts of island.

“Lovely studio flat” Lovely flat, very clean and the family whose flat it is are very helpful and friendly,everything you need for a self catering holiday.

“The House is lovely.” We stayed with 5 adults, a toddler and a 1 year old. The house was spacious, clean and the children enjoyed it. The room sizes are generous and we had an amazing welcome. They answered all of our questions and were so helpful. The house was clean and they provided us with everything you need.

“The Villa and the help of the owner made our holiday perfect” We stayed in the Villa with our whole family because of our 40th marriage day. There were 7 adults and two grandchildren of 1 and 3 years. We all enjoyed our stay very much. The house is really big, so everyone can be on his own or together in the splendid living room or even bigger kitchen. Everything was there, we only missed a mixer to make whipped cream, but I am sure the owner has already brought that in order. The two swimmingpools were great and because of the high temperature (29'0 it was great. The outside pool is really large! You can swim in it for exercise and make a lot of fun! I could go on, but please find out yourself! It is really worth the money you spend!

“Ideal for what we wanted” We were met at the villa by the owner who showed us around. the Villa was very large and worked out to be ideal for our needs. there is a downstairs area with 1 bedroom and a living area with a couple of put up beds and a bathroom. this was great for my teenage boys who used this as a flat away from everyone to do their own thing when they wanted. on ground level there is 2 large bedrooms with on sweets and a twin room with a bathroom next to it. the pool area and view is stunning. the only criticism I have about the villa is it really could do with updating, but if it was updated then you would have to spend allot more money to hire it. We would stay here again, its ideally positioned as well.

“What a fabulous house” We had a wonderful, restful time at Dar tal-Gen. Kenneth was incredibly helpful with all sorts of information before we arrived, and even sorted out some groceries for us. The house is amazing, and in a very peaceful spot. The pool was perfect, and we spent a lot of time just lounging around by it. The people in the village of Qala were very friendly, and we enjoyed being involved in the festa. We managed to travel around for our two weeks using the local buses, which stopped not far from the house. It is very convenient for the number of excellent restaurants in the village. My kids think I am a genius for finding it!

“fantastic farmhouse.” stayed at farmhouse in gharb,very peaceful .beautiful rustic building 4 lovely bedrooms ,cool courtyard to cool down from the hot sun. stunning pool and baby pool. plenty sun loungers .wi-fi in the living room all rounded off with a good well equipped kitchen.. stunning beach at ramla bay. and a lovely small town called xlendi filled with fish and steak restuarants all nestled in a secluded bay. victoria is the main shopping area only 10 mins away on the bus which is very cheap.the crossing on the ferry was also very nice from malta only 25 mins would highly recomend this property ,if you want a relaxing holiday on the gorgeous island of gozo.

“Lovely villa and we were well looked after by Melita the owner.” June 25th 2016 - July 9th 2016 We are regular visitors to the wonderful island of Malta, know and love it. We travel as a large family group of 10, ages ranging from my wife's parents who are in their 80's through to our youngest son who is 16. We have booked hotels and villa's previously but must say that this rates as the best villa we have had the pleasure to stay in. The pool is good with easy access into the shallow end for juniors/seniors sloping gently to the deep end and the smaller splash pool is great to just relax in. The pool building has a shower/toilet one end that is useful in eliminating the need to walk through the apartments when you are wet and a washing machine in the other end. The gardens are well set out around the pool area and maintained well. The layout of 3 separate apartments worked well for us, allowing privacy and space for all. With each apartment having its own bathroom and kitchen, mornings worked well as there was no long queue for the bathroom or for the kettle. When not dining out we split the cooking across the 3 apartments and then dined al fresco by the pool in the shade. Local services such as supermarkets, restaurants, bus stops etc. can be reached with a 5 minute walk. I did hire a small car locally as this made it easier to ferry the more senior members around as well as fetching the required supplies from the supermarket as bottles of water, milk and supplies for 10 people are not light to carry in 36' temperatures I am an early riser so frequently met up with the owners husband who would be carrying out pool cleaning duties just as the sun was rising ensuring the pool was in tiptop condition every day. I would have no problem recommending this villa to friends or colleagues and would not hesitate to return again with my family. Lovely well maintained villa and we were well looked after by the owners, Thank you Melita.
