“Brilliant Apartment in an ideal location” This was a brilliant apartment located in a great area. The apartment is clean, spacious and modern with all the facilities you need. The pictures on the internet don’t do it justice. The host Jon was very nice, friendly and extremely helpful. Everything we needed for breakfast the next day was left for us including milk and bread.
When you come out of the apartment go down the hill for the ferry to Sliema and pleasure trip round the harbours, which I would recommend. Go up the hill for the centre of Valletta, main shopping area, bus station and gardens with fantastic views across the harbour. Busses are the best way of getting round with frequent reliable service, cheep fares and friendly helpful drivers.
Valletta is a beautiful place with loads to see but you need to be mobile as the apartment and the whole of Valletta has lots and lots of steps. Valletta is the main city and is quite noisy but bars and restaurants will close by about 22:00pm during the week and a little later on a Friday and Saturday. However don’t go by advertised opening hours for shops, museums and restaurants they will close early if not busy. If a church, shop or museum you want to visit has its doors open go in you might not get another chance!
For easy transfer to and from the airport I would recommend John’s Garage.
We loved Valletta and the people were all friendly and really helpful we will defiantly be going back.
“A very pleasant apartment” We liked the central location in Sliema, with all you can imagine on walking distance. Shops and restaurants are close by. Transportation to other parts of Malta is just down the road. The apartment is very clean and comfortable.
All you can wish for when on holidays.
“Wonderful holidays!” The apartment was very tidy and had nice furnished and modern rooms. From our balconies we had a beautiful view to Grand Harbor.
The owners, Jon and Philippa, were very friendly and obliging. They welcomed us with basket full of food to provide us with enough to eat for our first breakfast. During the whole stay, they constantly supported us with many useful hints and recommendations.
Overall, the apartment had a reasonable price/performance ratio and we would totally recommend it, if you are looking for a nice place to stay in Valletta.
Thank you Jon and Philippa for this pleasant holiday!
Best Regards from Austria
“Great apartment” Lots of stairs but lovely apartment with views. Well equipped, modern and clean. Good location. The owner Ritienne and her husband are lovely & very good managers - picked us up from the ferry, gave us a tour of Marsalforn and lots of info. The diving is amazing on Gozo - John at Scuba Kings is great. The bus service is excellent, and a good way to see the island. Recommend Electra for pizza. Coin operated air con is being added to the apartment for the summer.
“Perfect location with amazing sea views” Apartment is excellent, fantastic sea view location. It is close to all restaurants and to the bus stop, there is washing machine, tumble dryer and everything you may need. Kitchen is well equipped and Jo Ann (owner) is very nice, friendly and professional. Overall great holiday in a great place I would recommend for any couple.
“Great - will book again” Been many times on holiday to Malta and have to say that this is probably the best and certainly the most pleasant accommodations for the price that I've experienced. Well equipped with everything you'd need, a friendly shop nearby and restaurants within walking, not to mention life on the balcony with the spectacular view and of course, not forgetting the occasional and hilarious interruption from the local rooster that's crock is not quite all there! Will definitely book again and thanks for everything!
“A perfect place to spend your vacation” This apartment was exactly what we were looking for in Malta. The two bedrooms, glass sliding doors and balcony gave it a feeling of spaciousness. The view of St. Paul's Bay from the balcony was beautiful, day and night. It was the perfect setting for breakfast coffee to wine time in the evening. The apartment provided all the necessities to have some meals in. There were restaurants and a grocery store within easy walking distance and many more a short bus ride away. The bus stop is right outside the front door and we used it often to get around the island. A bus pass can be purchased that allows unlimited travel for 7 days. The apartment was very clean and the view soothing. Ruth and Neville could not have been easier to work with. Before we arrived they answered every email promptly and patiently and were even more helpful when we arrived. They made arrangements for our transport from and later back to the airport, advised us on what to see in Malta and even booked tours for us. Thanks to Ruth and Neville, their lovely apartment and the beautiful country of Malta, this was the perfect place for us to spend our vacation.
“Huge apartment in perfect location” This was a brilliant place to stay for a holiday in Malta.
The apartment was huge. From the street entrance it was two floors up and there was a lift. The apartment opened in to a long hallway. There were three large bedrooms off this. The master bedroom bigger than some apartments we've stayed in, and it had an en-suite bathroom. There was plenty of storage so all the luggage was out if sight for the whole week.
There was a shower room, complete with washing machine, and a very large kitchen containing everything needed to self-cater. The end of the hallway opened on to a large living and dining area. This was a very spacious light room, as there were two sets of patio doors that opened on to the south facing balcony. It was a quiet apartment as there is no traffic at the front.
The view from the balcony over Spinola Bay was beautiful at all times of the day. Even in February we were able to sit with a drink and read watching what was going on. As the apartment is on a hill is it higher at the front, looking over the bay, than at the back where you enter from the street.
The location is great too. There were food and drink shops within 5 minutes walk, and countless restaurants and bars very close by. Cuba, at the end of the street overlooking the bay, became a favourite and was excellent for the 2 for 1 cocktails during Happy Hour.
We travelled to several places by bus during our week. The bus stops are also within 5 minutes walk of the apartment and travel is just €1.50 per day! We had one rainy day (not bad for the time of year) and spent it being lazy, and going to the cinema in St Julians, probably 15-20 minutes walk away at the most. The cinema prices were very cheap.
We had a couple of problems during out stay and on both occasions Albert sorted them out for us immediately. There was no DVD player, and when he realised it had been moved he brought another one round (we stayed in after our evening meals as the apartment was so comfortable). On another occasion the electricity went off. This was caused by a problem with the en-suite water heater. Again Albert sorted the electricity out and was arranging for a plumber to attend. This was not a problem as there was another shower room.
The apartment and location made the holiday and I would definitely return.
“Oh so comfortable villa - and that pool!” A wonderful, private and oh so comfortable villa - and that pool!
We enjoyed 8 days of peace, quiet and comfort staying in Ta Berta in Sannat. The welcoming Sam and Michelle have created a fantastic home away from home. Thank you for everything. You guys are the best!
“A cracking holiday home right in the heart of the medieval Mdina - book it!” I booked Agatinas in Mdina for my husband's 60th birthday and we absolutely loved it. Our adult sons joined us and we loved the fact that there was so much space, divided onto different floors, and especially enjoyed the different balconies and terraces, so we didn't have to be on top of each other all the time and could have some down time occasionally. Agatinas is located at the heart of the maze of narrow medieval streets that make up the true centre of the Silent City, as Mdina is known. So many of the holiday properties which advertise themselves as being in Mdina are actually outside the city's ancient walls. If you want a really authentic Mdina stay, Agatinas is the place. You will receive a very warm welcome from the family and they are amazingly helpful. For example, they kindly arranged for a 'surprise' birthday cake and balloons to welcome us and also recommended and then booked a table at an excellent restaurant in Mdina to celebrate my husband's birthday. Mdina is ideally placed for exploring the whole of Malta as it's not very far from anywhere by car. If we return to Malta, there is no doubt that we'd choose to stay at Agatinas again.
“Fab holiday- great service” Apartment central location within walking distance of square and numerous restaurants and pubs. Bus stops outside so easy to get around malta. Clean modern apartment although living area small for four adults, all mod cons in apartment.
genuine people to deal with couldnt have been more helpful. would not hesitate to recommend and return ourselves.
“Lovely spacious apartment, with great pool area.” We found the owners of the apartment Jesmond and Alison to be extremely friendly and helpful. Jesmond met us at the airport and gave us ideas for places to visit, some history of Malta and a tour around Mellieha to help get our bearings, all of which were very helpful.
The apartment was very spacious and clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool area was lovely, clean with plenty of places to sit.
Mellieha village had plenty of shops and restaurants. The beach in Mellieha bay was attractive and clean.
We had such a lovely time and can't wait to go back.
“A short but sweet stay” We only had the chance to stay one night but the host was amazing, making us feel welcome, offering advice about the area and even offering to help us out with our damaged car!
“In Malta we spent seven wonderful days in four.” In Malta we spent seven wonderful days in four.
Donna and Charlie were very friendly, helpful when we needed them.
The owners organized a memorable, successful fishing.
The apartment is close to the bus station (we had a rental car) center with shops, restaurants, beach.
Bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen everything was clean.
balkonies large and sunny with views of the sea.
Featured in Donna's apartment. you'll want to go back.
“Truly Amazing- would recommend to anyone!” My family and I stayed at Villa Elma for two weeks and what a brilliant two weeks they were! On arrival to the property, we were greeted by the host who showed us around the accomodation and gave us additional information such as local restaurants, taxi services and when the cleaners/pool man would visit- something which we found very useful!
The accomodation was beautifully modern and very spacious/open-plan, a feature that's great for a large number of people. The kitchen was large and had all the utensils and tools we needed to prepare and cook meals- big cooker/microwave/dishwasher/coffee machine/kettle. This flowed into the dining room and then into a cosy lounge with an L-shaped settee and a large TV with DVD player. Opposite this was a wall of glass windows and doors that led to the indoor pool- a really nice feature!
The bedrooms were extremely spacious with plenty of storage, large beds and air conditioning units, something which we definitely needed! As an aside, speakers were routed throughout the rooms so music could be played to them via the tablet in the kitchen. The entirety of the villa was unbelievably clean and had a very homey feel to it.
The lights were controlled by motion sensored switches and could also be turned on/off by an iPad mounted on the wall, which we found was really cool!
The outside was roomy and got practically an entire day of sunshine- as south facing as they come! There was however, outside seating that was located in the shade for people who didn't wish to sit in the sun. The pool was very big and the perfect depth for all ages- it got very hot during the day which was lovely! The outside speakers also placed music from either the radio or a docking station- an extra luxury we were not expecting!
All in all, the villa was beautiful and Franco was very attentive and friendly to any issues or questions that we had. What made it extra special was the attention to detail and extra touches that made our visit that bit better- a stocked fridge, plenty of towels, toilet rolls, complimentary shampoo/soap, a cleaner to change towels and someone to clean the pool once a week.
My family and I would recommend absolutely anybody to this property, as the villa was faultless, the host welcoming and friendly as well as the nearest town (Naxxar) only a ten-minute walk away with plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops.
It was a wonderful visit and we'd stay here again anytime!
Explore the island and villas in Malta, there is so much to see and do it makes a fantastic holiday destination. Wander around the capital Valletta, peruse the delights of colourful Marsaxlokk and its famous Sunday market; visit the medieval 'silent city' of Medina for breathtaking views or unwind at one of the many spas on the island. Malta as a whole has a fabulous history starting with the oldest neolithic temples in the world, the fascinating siege of the 16th century when the Knights held the island against the might of the Ottoman Empire, and more recently their heroic stand during the Second World War. The island of Malta has been dubbed the Mediterranean’s ‘mini-Hollywood’ by The Times, as it is becoming one of the world’s most popular film and television locations.Popular Searches : Villas in Spain | Holiday Cottages | Villas in Portugal | Algarve Villas | Tuscany Villas

Blue Horizon Apartments
Super apartment with sea view
The apartment is on the sea front and is ideal for two people. It was spotlessly clean. The small balcony can hold two people and benefits from a sea breeze. Malta in September was incredibly hot - 30+ degrees every day. The apartment has air-conditioning in the bedroom and a large fan in the living room. Frances arranged our transfers to and from the airport and had some basic items in the fridge for us when we arrived. We couldn’t fault her or the apartment. …
Amazing views from the apartment, it was also very well equipped, clean and provided a welcome pack with a bottle of wine. Victoria was our contact at the apartment and provided a tour of the flat. Victoria was really accommodating and any questions we had she was always available. The apartment is in a great location, close to Valletta and St Julians, a bus stop just opposite and the Valetta ferry few mins walk away. There are also plenty of restaurants which are walking distance. Airport pickup and drop off was smooth, including Victoria arranging the drop off the night before. Really pleased with the professional service provided by this company. …
saint julians(paceville)fully equipped modern apartment with ACin prime location
The location of the apartment is just off the main road in St Julians and is quiet at night. Everything in spinola bay, paceville and st julians is a 10 min walk and Ballutta bay is a 20 min walk.
The Apartment itself is great. One room with a double bed with air con, another room with 2 single beds with Air Con and a large sitting room/kitchen/dining room area with a sofa bed. It's very comfortable.
The bathroom and kitchen are clean and tidy, towels are provided along with all cleaning products.
Lisa the lady who meets you is very friendly and helpful.
This apartment is well priced and is perfect for a holiday. …
The villa was brilliant, well equipped and large enough for 4 couples to share without being on top of each other. The swimming pool was a lovely bonus after a day of sight seeing. The views from the Haven are fantastic and the owner Fino very friendly and easily contactable. We all had a wonderful holiday, would definitely go back. …
Luxury Tas Sellum 3 bed
We'd stay again!
Apartment is big, and well laid out, 3 great sized bedrooms, its 20 mins walk from the most amazing beach - it is up hill! so may be challenging for some, we got used to it but ate on the way home and only went back out twice. The view during the day & night from the apartment was lovely. There is a pool in the apartment complex but it was closed for our first c 4 days and was not inviting with no seating area etc, we were at the beach daily.
Wifi was great, but TV channels are very limited c4 English ones. The apartment was very clean & had a washing machine & dryer! WE had 2 children 2 & 12 and both were safe, secure & happy.
Recommended airport taxi service was excellent, and issue with the sink arose and was sorted later that day.
Minor improvement points - the drinking glass collection was poor - a pint glass, a tumbler, a nutella jar & 5 mismatched wine glasses!, the bed linen was clean but bobbly and the towels were clean but poor condition and mismatched - a quick trip to the Malta Ikea equivalent and this place would be great. …
