“Perfect” Dear readers/Keneth,
Me and my girlfriend had the opportunity to stay in this amazing flat for 1 week during our holiday. There is absolutely nothing bad i could say about this house. We had everything we needed,it very modern, beautiful and clean. Theapartment is ready to move in any time.
We would like to thank the owner, Mr Keneth, who was amazingly kind and professional! He arranged for us also transport to and from the airport. I would choose 10 out of 10 times the same place to live in Malta if i ever go back!
Thank you for everything and take care,
Andrei and Vivienne!
“Huge apartment in perfect location” This was a brilliant place to stay for a holiday in Malta.
The apartment was huge. From the street entrance it was two floors up and there was a lift. The apartment opened in to a long hallway. There were three large bedrooms off this. The master bedroom bigger than some apartments we've stayed in, and it had an en-suite bathroom. There was plenty of storage so all the luggage was out if sight for the whole week.
There was a shower room, complete with washing machine, and a very large kitchen containing everything needed to self-cater. The end of the hallway opened on to a large living and dining area. This was a very spacious light room, as there were two sets of patio doors that opened on to the south facing balcony. It was a quiet apartment as there is no traffic at the front.
The view from the balcony over Spinola Bay was beautiful at all times of the day. Even in February we were able to sit with a drink and read watching what was going on. As the apartment is on a hill is it higher at the front, looking over the bay, than at the back where you enter from the street.
The location is great too. There were food and drink shops within 5 minutes walk, and countless restaurants and bars very close by. Cuba, at the end of the street overlooking the bay, became a favourite and was excellent for the 2 for 1 cocktails during Happy Hour.
We travelled to several places by bus during our week. The bus stops are also within 5 minutes walk of the apartment and travel is just €1.50 per day! We had one rainy day (not bad for the time of year) and spent it being lazy, and going to the cinema in St Julians, probably 15-20 minutes walk away at the most. The cinema prices were very cheap.
We had a couple of problems during out stay and on both occasions Albert sorted them out for us immediately. There was no DVD player, and when he realised it had been moved he brought another one round (we stayed in after our evening meals as the apartment was so comfortable). On another occasion the electricity went off. This was caused by a problem with the en-suite water heater. Again Albert sorted the electricity out and was arranging for a plumber to attend. This was not a problem as there was another shower room.
The apartment and location made the holiday and I would definitely return.
“Cosy, comfotable and convenient” Very well equipped apartment in great location. One direction to square the other to large supermarket and bus station. Great sun trap on terrace even for December (a parasol would be appreciated but may be available in high season). Toaster tricky to operate and one door handle needs attention as it comes off in your hand. Kylie took a note of this. Overall a great apartment. Would have no hesitation in returning.
“Lovely apartment in a great location” The Old Mint Penthouse is a lovely clean and well kitted out apartment. The photos are very accurate, and the apartment has a lovely entrance lobby into an old stone building right in the heart of Valletta. Lovely views from the terraces and roof. I stayed with my partner and another couple, and there was plenty of space for us all, but a few points if you are travelling as a group of four:
1) There is only one bathroom, and this did prove to be a problem when getting ready to go out for the day/night.
2) One bedroom is considerably nicer than the other, and is right next door to the bathroom - this could definitely cause problems between two couples as whoever gets the downstairs room will have to lug their belongings up and down a narrow staircase to get to a room thats not as nice as the more accessable one! Perhaps an update to the decor downstairs would alleviate this a little. However the downstairs room was lovely and cool with the A/C on and quieter than the room above.
3) We got through the whole electric allowance, and seemed to be using electricity when we weren't in the apartment. No problem as we weren't charged extra, but were being very careful with switching things off, and never used the oven/tv or the A/C in the main room, so not sure how this occured.
4) Access to wifi was charged at 3.50 Euro a day - I thought this was a bit steep considering the price of the apartment already. There is free wifi available through many parts of Valletta, so having this as a free addition would have been a nice touch.
5) We booked the taxi from the airport through holiday lets because we were told that the taxis booked through the company knew the apartment and its location. Our taxi picked us up promptly, but had no idea where the apartment was, cue lots of driving down/reversing up narrow streets, which was a bit worrying/humorous depending on how you look at it, but this is not the apartment owners fault, more a criticism of the pick up service offered.
However these are minor points, the apartment has lots of character, is well situated and well decorated, and would probably be the ideal base for a couple or young family interested in seeing the sights of Malta. The welcome was friendly and professional, and staff were on hand to help with any problems. There were nice touches like having first aid box handy and leaflets of local attractions. Overall I'd highly recommend the apartment, the minor niggles above were really only because we travelled as two couples.
“A perfect place to spend your vacation” This apartment was exactly what we were looking for in Malta. The two bedrooms, glass sliding doors and balcony gave it a feeling of spaciousness. The view of St. Paul's Bay from the balcony was beautiful, day and night. It was the perfect setting for breakfast coffee to wine time in the evening. The apartment provided all the necessities to have some meals in. There were restaurants and a grocery store within easy walking distance and many more a short bus ride away. The bus stop is right outside the front door and we used it often to get around the island. A bus pass can be purchased that allows unlimited travel for 7 days. The apartment was very clean and the view soothing. Ruth and Neville could not have been easier to work with. Before we arrived they answered every email promptly and patiently and were even more helpful when we arrived. They made arrangements for our transport from and later back to the airport, advised us on what to see in Malta and even booked tours for us. Thanks to Ruth and Neville, their lovely apartment and the beautiful country of Malta, this was the perfect place for us to spend our vacation.
“The condominium is the cleanest we have ever stay in” The location is great, with all the amemities you need within walking distance. The people are very friendly. The Manager (George) is a great person to deal with, he took the time to explain what ever we needed to know.
We will be visting again this March
“Lovely house, great facilities, friendly and helpful owner and all at the right price! What more could you want?” This house is perfect for groups of friends(as we were) or families with children who do not need to be supervised (ie toddlers). The pool is fantastic in the heat of the day. the balconys have amazing views. The location as with all places on gozo is very close to everything. though car hire is a must as it makes getting around the island much much easier.
this was my 5th time on gozo and I would say its by far the best farmhouse I have rented!!!!
“Fab holiday- great service” Apartment central location within walking distance of square and numerous restaurants and pubs. Bus stops outside so easy to get around malta. Clean modern apartment although living area small for four adults, all mod cons in apartment.
genuine people to deal with couldnt have been more helpful. would not hesitate to recommend and return ourselves.
Explore the island and villas in Malta, there is so much to see and do it makes a fantastic holiday destination. Wander around the capital Valletta, peruse the delights of colourful Marsaxlokk and its famous Sunday market; visit the medieval 'silent city' of Medina for breathtaking views or unwind at one of the many spas on the island. Malta as a whole has a fabulous history starting with the oldest neolithic temples in the world, the fascinating siege of the 16th century when the Knights held the island against the might of the Ottoman Empire, and more recently their heroic stand during the Second World War. The island of Malta has been dubbed the Mediterranean’s ‘mini-Hollywood’ by The Times, as it is becoming one of the world’s most popular film and television locations.Popular Searches : Villas in Spain | Holiday Cottages | Villas in Portugal | Algarve Villas | Tuscany Villas

Stunning apartment in the perfect location
If you get the chance to book this beautiful apartment please do it you will not be disappointed - I can confirm that it is as beautiful as it appears in the photos.
The high lights are the stunning patio with quality furniture to relax on - The
Air conditioning that worked perfectly during our stay and made in a pleasure
to sit indoors when we wanted to eat in or sit about reading - The WIFI enabled
TV that gave us a good choice of new release movies to watch on our nights in.
The facilities and furnishing were of the highest quality and the extra toilet with sink

There is a great supermarket ( Scotts ) within 5 minute walking distance that had
a good range of fresh bread and Meat and a deli counter stocked full of cheeses from around the world along with fresh olives/capers/ fish etc etc - The location of the apartment is just off the main road and across from the promenade 2 mins walk and there you will find all the places you need for meals / drinks and entertainment usually open from 7.30am until well after midnight - here you will also find the bus stops that will take you into either Valletta one way or into the night life if St Julian's and beyond to the ferry terminal for Gozo in the other. Excellent family and group stay near a quiet beach
We had a great time at this apartment based literary a few meters from the beach. We were greeted by Joseph, the owner of Sea Breeze and stayed in the middle floor apartment. All amenities in a great condition and well maintained. We also could park nearby our rented car.
Joseph was helpful in letting us know what is best to go to. There is a little board on the ground floor with all the information you need, such as buses timetable, emergency services etc.
You can also rent a boat at the beach and eat well in the local area. Really nice spot to spend your family or group holidays. …
055Exceptional Views St Julians Seafront 4-bedroom
St Julian’s Apartment
We stayed in this apartment for a week in July. The weather was incredible and the location of the apartment could not have been better. On arrival, it was clean, well organised and very comfortable. The television worked to an extent however sometimes it was glitchy. You do not go to Malta for the televison however! You go for the views, bays and bars, culture and warm seas. And this is what was offered. On the 5th floor of the block, the view of Balluta Bay was incredible. There are a selection of restaurants and bars nearby - and even some clubs if you feel like it! The general noise was at a minimum which was excellent. All amenities were very well looked after and the host was very polite and kind. Would definitely recommend. An excellent week long holiday. Thank you ShortLetsMalta! …
A home from home in Gozo
The location is in a quite rural part of Gozo on the outskirts of Gharb. You get a feel for traditional Gozo village life with the farmer across the street where you can get fresh eggs and a beautiful church just down the hill. There are two local shops one within easy walking distance and two restaurants also within walking distance, one serving both lunch and evening meals and the other evening meal only. The locals on Gozo are really friendly and will always stop for a chat and make you feel really relaxed and welcome.
The property is sympathetically renovated keeping quite a lot of the original features which was really interesting, you can get a feel of how the property started from the photos in the kitchen. The pool was a lovely size with a lovely view, but keeping very private and the garden and courtyard has lots of lovely plants and sculptures . There is several places to sit and relax whether you want a view, be sheltered or somewhere comfortable to eat. We had everything we needed as regards to utensils and equipment and the farmhouse feels really homely and relaxed.
Gharb is 15 minutes from the capital Victoria which has lots of shops and places to eat, but can get quite busy though. It doesn't take long to drive to any part of the island and our favourite places were Massalform and the bay next to it as it was quite and sheltered with the salt pans along the front which are worked by several generations of a family.
We used the transfers that Juginder arranged with David for us, which were really good. Alfred was waiting for us at the airport when we arrived he told us about the different places through Malta and Gozo, he was really friendly and helpful and right on time to take us back at the end of our holiday. We rented a Maruti Gypsy Safari Jeep from David which if you enjoy really basic, bouncy suspension, rattling gear boxes and plenty of character you will love it as we did. It will go absolutely anywhere on the island and they wont be around for too many more years.
We enjoyed it so much we will be coming back to stay again. …
