“Wonderful week of relaxation” From the start of the booking process to the end of our trip, our experience with Pauline and Mario at Is-Setah was outstanding. Pauline was very responsive to initial inquiries and helpful in answering any questions we had about the property. Just to give an example: when we arrived in Malta, our flight was delayed, and we ended up missing the intended ferry. Mario stayed at the ferry terminal in Gozo personally to make sure we ended up at the right place, even though it was after 1:00 am on Easter Sunday. They were also very helpful when we needed them during the week, as they live quite close to the rental property. The villa itself is very spacious. The common room is large, and with the open-plan stone staircase, feels gigantic - not to mention the great views of the valley out to the sea. The kitchen was well-equipped, although a few more wine glasses would have been appreciated. The entire house was immaculately clean upon our arrival. The terrace area and the pool were wonderful spaces to relax and enjoy the view, and the barbecue grill provided a lot of entertainment. The pool area is especially beautiful at night: very well-lit and warm. The plants were well cared-for. The bedrooms and bathrooms had very high quality furnishings (beds made of real wood, stone bathrooms - this is not IKEA furniture). The architectural details of the house (especially upstairs) really made the place interesting - arches and balconies, a large staircase, the entryway - and we appreciated the attention to detail. The village of Xaghra is really an ideal base from which to visit Gozo. It's minutes away from Victoria, but it feels isolated enough to be "away from it all." The Xaghra village square is within walking distance of this villa, and we thought the restaurants on the square made it worth several return trips. That being said, although it's not strictly necessary, I would recommend a car rental, since nearly any place on the entire island will be accessible to you within 20 minutes. “The beautiful farmhouse made our stay perfect!” We (4 pax) visited Gozo for one week and stayed at the Ta' Happin farmhouse. The transfer from Malta Airport to the farmhouse was well organized by our perfect host (Aaron). As soon as we arrived he gave us all informations regarding the house and the surrounding we needed. He and his house, which was really well-equipped (washing machine, kitchen with everything you need, hair-dryer, etc.), made the stay just wonderful. The house has 3 sleeping rooms and I would say it is perfect for 4 persons but you can also stay there with 6 persons. At one evening we used the BBQ station next to the pool and it was really a fantastic evening. You have to try the typical sausages, those are very delicious. The bus station is 1 minute walk from the farmhouse. From the bus station you can get to Victoria and Marsalforn. The main square of Xaghra is approx. 10 minutes walk from the house. On the main square you can find some restaurants, cafes, etc. The supermarket is just around the corner and offers everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse.

“Truly a paradise” I stayed in the Tal-Hamramann farmhouse in May 2014 with 8 friends for one week. All of us absolutely loved the stay in Gozo. The house was lovely and provided absolutely everything we needed including a private pool. I would STRONGLY advice to rent a car / scooter (in our case: two small cars). Aaron, the landlord, offers a very cheap car hiring service. A car / scooter is very practical to get around the island. One important point:check the condition of the tyres before you sign the rental contract because the streets in Malta and Gozo are partially badly-kept. Flat tyres are at the expense of the hirer, so you don't want to rent a car with bad tyres. Apart from the roads, the island of Gozo has no single flaw. You will definitely have a trip of your lifetime! Tal-Hamramann farmhouse: pure excellence. Thank you, Aaron!
