“Fantastic Holiday - Perfect Villa” We stayed in Gozo at the end of May/beginning of June. We were a party of 4 adults and a 4 year old child. The owners of the villa, Pauline & Mario, made us feel very welcome, and were always on hand if needed. The transport, arranged by Pauline, from the airport to the villa was faultless. The villa itself was beautiful, Very spacious inside, and perfect for large parties and very well equiped. The pool was a big hit with our daughter, who was the first one in every morning at 7:30. We hired a car for a few days & visited Malta. We also purchased a weeks bus ticket (€6.50 per adult), which gave us unlimited travel around Gozo. The village itself is quiet, but has a few restaurants anfd supermarkets. We had lunch a few times in the cafe/patisserie in the square by the church. Very good value & delicious cakes. We used the Lighthouse supermarket, the fruit & veg market stall & the Aldi by Victoria. For dinner, the best restaurant to visit is Tal Furnar. The food is delicious. We went a few times, and there were so many tasty things on the menu. The owners were very friendly, and we loved chatting with them. Portions are massive. If it is a relaxing break that you are looking for, then Gozo is perfect.

“Great apartment by the sea” Great apartment. Spacious, modern and bright, a little cold in winter but come summer the sea breeze will be a bonus! Top floor so great views but bear this in mind if you have any difficulty walking up stairs. Buses just a couple of minutes walk from the apartment which get you around the island and Victoria is 10-15 minutes away by bus. Beautiful walks nearby. Good restaurants in walking distance. Nice welcome from Ritienne who collected us from the ferry. Overall this is a beautiful apartment with great hosts, we loved our relaxing time here.

“Luxury accommodation in a laid-back location.” My wife and I were travelling with my 90-year-old mother. When we were looking at booking Berta, Sam was concerned that Mum may not be able to climb the front steps or get in one of the free-standing showers. He even sent photos to help us make up our minds. We went ahead and booked for 5 days. We were met by Sam at the ferry and he took us for a quick tour of the area surrounding Sannat to show us food stores, eateries, etc. The photos do not do the accommodation justice. The pool and barbecue areas were secluded and inviting, the location was quiet and the washing machine and kitchen were a blessing. The WiFi was excellent. Service from Sam was first class. Nothing was a problem even when we extended our stay by another 2 days or when we had some relatives stay for a couple of nights. He was just like one of the family. Gozo is a beautiful island. There is so much to see, the people are friendly and the climate is mild in autumn. You could not go wrong by staying at Berta if you are going to Gozo.

“Great Traditional Gozo Farmhouse” The location was just right for us, with family staying nearby. The landlord was very friendly and addressed any issues immediately. The farmhouse is traditional Gozean with a modern touch. It was spacious inside and the pool was refreshing. We would definitely stay again.

“The best holiday ever !!!” The farmhouse on Gozo, was an incredible place to live. The house is so charming, lovely and more than big enough for all of us, 7 persons. If You want a quiet holiday, feeling that it is only You and the locals, then Gozo is the place. And Il Pelican the house!! We did really feel that we were locals living in the center with only a few hundred meters to nice restaurants and shops. The hosts organized transport for us from the airport, helped us renting a jeep, a car is important to have there if You want to see Gozo as it is. A beautiful island totally unspoiled. The hosts did complete this holiday, constantly helping us with what ever needed and more than that Actually we don`t want to recommend this house since we want this place to be our own secret :-) But this is a pearl of a house and an island so this has to be shared with others.

“Gozo - lovely place, shame about the sand storms!!” Gozo is a fantastic place and the people are so friendly. Unfortunately we arrived in freak weather conditions - gusty winds and sahara sand thrown in from every direction. It was also unfortunate that during our stay the whole of the normally pretty St Lawrenz was dug up so rubble and dust everywhere. We had a great time despite all this so definitely going back. The Tal Barun Farmhouse is beautiful and original and in a great position for the sea and some lovely long walks. There is everything there that you could possibly need and hopefully the road works will have finished by the time we next visit. The whole trip was arranged superbly by Marvik with easy transfers. Everyone in Gozo are friendly and helpful and will endeavour to do everything they can to make your stay an enjoyable one.

“Amazing villa! Amazing town! Amazing Island!” My girlfriend and I stayed here for 4 days in June 2013 and had originally planned to head down to Valletta for the final 2 nights of our holiday... we ended up extending our stay an extra night as we just couldn't bear to leave this little oasis! The local town of Qala is probably the nicest, and most friendly, on the island of Gozo. There's a dive school nearby, some fantastic pubs and restaurants off the square (one has a live jazz night!) and the butcher at the local supermarket is INCREDIBLE value and quality for the BBQ.... Kenneth the owner is fantastic and always in touch giving you information, local tips and checking all is well for your stay. He's even recommended a return in October when the seas are still warming and cycling and rock climbing will be easier... definitely being considered! If you want a relaxing villa, in a quiet town, with the option to scuba dive, visit amazing coastlines and stunning towns then this is the place for you...! Car rental is just down the road for 25 Euros a day so it's the best way to get around to visit the amazing beaches and coves! I would happily recommend this villa to family and friends (and actually have done...) Thanks Kenneth and your amazing villa for a great stay!

“Pleasant Stay At A Rustic Farmhouse In Gozo” We enjoyed the12 days we spent at Anthony's house of character, in the quiet village of Gharb, on Gozo. There's space on the roof, with wide views across the fields to the ocean, and, on the other side, to other villages. The custom stonework that Anthony created himself for the house is beautiful - a unique, spiral stone staircase leads up to the roof terrace; there are also stone wall sconces in the living room and kitchen, with subtle lighting behind them. The pool area has hand-assembled stone walls, which cut down the wind on windy Spring days. Anthony is a gracious and generous host - he gave us a hand carved gift, and a bottle of his home made wine. Gozo is all about experiencing nature - we walked along a small road, which led out to breathtaking, expansive views of the cliffs on the north side of the ex-Azure Window, over fields dotted with poppies and wildflowers, leading down to the sea. This road is just a minute or 2 from the house, and provides great sunset views. Tatita's and Millie Grazie are, by far, the best restaurants in the local area.
