“Bliss!” I stayed at Richards apartment with my sister for two relaxing weeks in August, as previous reveiwers have said the flat was ver clean and tidy and we enjoyed the amazing views of the square and the sea.
Richard was a very good host and met us from the ferry when we arrived late in the evening and gave us a short tour of Victoria befoe taking us to the partment and telling us he was just a phone call away.
Everything we needed was either in the aprtment or Xlendi itself and we had a great time. There is no shop in the village but a van comes round evryday and visits the village square and drives up the road where the apartment is so if you need bottles of water this is the easy option. Xlendi is very laid back with a lovely choice of places to eat and we used the local buses to travel around and see the island and in particular Ramla Bay which is an amazing beach. We would definately return here again.
“Luxury accommodation in a laid-back location.” My wife and I were travelling with my 90-year-old mother. When we were looking at booking Berta, Sam was concerned that Mum may not be able to climb the front steps or get in one of the free-standing showers. He even sent photos to help us make up our minds. We went ahead and booked for 5 days. We were met by Sam at the ferry and he took us for a quick tour of the area surrounding Sannat to show us food stores, eateries, etc. The photos do not do the accommodation justice. The pool and barbecue areas were secluded and inviting, the location was quiet and the washing machine and kitchen were a blessing. The WiFi was excellent. Service from Sam was first class. Nothing was a problem even when we extended our stay by another 2 days or when we had some relatives stay for a couple of nights. He was just like one of the family. Gozo is a beautiful island. There is so much to see, the people are friendly and the climate is mild in autumn. You could not go wrong by staying at Berta if you are going to Gozo.
“Fantastic Holiday - Perfect Villa” We stayed in Gozo at the end of May/beginning of June. We were a party of 4 adults and a 4 year old child. The owners of the villa, Pauline & Mario, made us feel very welcome, and were always on hand if needed.
The transport, arranged by Pauline, from the airport to the villa was faultless.
The villa itself was beautiful, Very spacious inside, and perfect for large parties and very well equiped.
The pool was a big hit with our daughter, who was the first one in every morning at 7:30.
We hired a car for a few days & visited Malta. We also purchased a weeks bus ticket (€6.50 per adult), which gave us unlimited travel around Gozo.
The village itself is quiet, but has a few restaurants anfd supermarkets. We had lunch a few times in the cafe/patisserie in the square by the church. Very good value & delicious cakes.
We used the Lighthouse supermarket, the fruit & veg market stall & the Aldi by Victoria.
For dinner, the best restaurant to visit is Tal Furnar. The food is delicious. We went a few times, and there were so many tasty things on the menu. The owners were very friendly, and we loved chatting with them. Portions are massive.
If it is a relaxing break that you are looking for, then Gozo is perfect.
“booked again for next year” we have just spent a wonderful 3 weeks at Tal Hamramann, one week on our own,one with my daughter and grandchildren aged 3 and 5 and one week with friends from Australia and everyone loved the farmhouse and had a great time.everything was on hand especially the owner Aaron who could not have been more helpful.,Abrahams supermarket is about 200yds,15 minutes walk at old peoples pace and your in the village square with a lovely church and a handfull of good restaurants, and Ramla bay,the best beach is 25 minutes walk downhill, never attempted the return 1.50 euros a day bus fare seemed the better option. So good we have booked for next year.
“Perfect base for a perfect holiday on Gozo” Seastar apartments are well appointed, well equipped and of very good proportion. The owners of the apartments offer a very warm welcome and are always ready to assist in any way to improve your holiday experience. You will find it hard to get better value and service for money elsewhere on Gozo.
In my opinion Xlendi is an excellent base for exploring Gozo. It has a beautiful bay, ideal for swimming, good bus links if you choose not to drive and a good array of restaurants serving fresh local produce.
“6* Stunning, Beautiful, Relaxing” Having stayed in many 5* hotels and self catering establishments around the world I am definitely giving this one 6* plus.
Thank you so much for making our stay in your house quite a unique experience, which began with your initial emails that gave us so much detail; from the wonderful welcome you and your mum gave us, the attention to detail you provide is simply outstanding.
This holiday on Gozo will stay in our memories forever.
Thank you once again.

About Island of Gozo
People have lived on Gozo for thousands of years, and the island is perhaps most famous as the home of the nymph ‘Calypso’ from Homer’s Odyssey.
One of the top spots for diving in the Mediterranean, Gozo is renowned for its historical architecture and spectacular coastline. Despite the island’s laidback nature, there’s buzzing nightlife and a full year-round calendar of activities to enjoy.
What to Do
The island is also a great place for shopping due to the amount of market stalls, boutiques and gift shops filled with unique and quirky items. Victoria, the capital of the island, is the place to head for a spot of retail therapy and you must visit the main shopping centre in the city, known as Arkadia.

Top Destination reviews
Large fully A/C villa with fantastic views. Free WiFi. Free Airport transfers.
6 adults stayed here for a week, there were 3 doubles and we all had our own bathroom, which was essential. The rooms were all very spacious, the pool was great although it was a bit windy o n a few days some didn't really get to use it that much. There was plenty of space where we all felt we had our own privacy. There is a lovely square within walking distance with plenty of restaurants. Ramla bay is within walking distance as is Calypso cave, although steep hills on the way back. We hired Pauliena and Marios jeep which was required to get around the island, it got us where we wanted to go but it has issues with gears and it was a bit precarious at times going up steep hills, but this added to the fun. The only downsides were that the showers were a it temperamental in adjusting to get the right temperature and the villa is not supplied with enough essentials such as dishwasher tablets and bin bags, which we believe should be included in the the price. The transfers to and from the airport is a a great bonus. Overall we all had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the wonderful villa and we would recommend it. Thank you to Pauline and Mario. …
Very smart apartment,well finished.
This is a very well finished apartment, for us just one or two things let it down. There wasn’t a coffee pot, hair dryer and the balcony although a very nice size did not have very comfortable chairs and unfortunately it was in shade most of the day when we were there in May.But on saying all that it’s a great apartment with a great view. …
Ta' Dratta - Holiday Farmhouse
Beautiful House in a great location
Ta Dratta is a beautiful, well equipped house - in fact it was like home from home. It suited our family of 8 perfectly with the children loving the swimming pool. It is well situated only a few minutes from the village square in Xaghra where there are a number of bars and restaurants facing a beautiful church. Pierre and Ivan are really friendly and arranged our transfers and car hire, which all went smoothly. We would definitely recommend Ta Dratta to our friends and family. …
PENELOPE FLAT 4 ROOM +BALCONY SEA VIEW
Just what we were hoping for
We have stayed in a number of different apartment's in Xlendi over the years so have a fair idea of what the standard is like. This one was one of the best so far. Quiet location at the top of Triq Punici and a pleasant walk down to the centre of the village.
I particularly liked having a separate kitchen diner with lots of space for food preparation, etc. The lounge with doors to the balcony was a nice size and the balcony itself was big enough to take a table and chairs and had an alcove which was perfect for the clothes horse.
The bedroom we used had comfortable beds and a ceiling fan that was nice and quiet.
Next time in Gozo we will definitely consider staying here again if its available for a similar price to this year. …
Island of Gozo Farmhouse in Gharb Ta' Sant' Antnin
Perfect small group farmhouse
The farmhouse has more than enough space for a group of 4, with four floors, and an outside pool area. The pool is great size for a small groups and has a jacuzzi attached to the pool, which is great for when you are in the warm Maltese sun and you need to cool down. The farmhouse is very well equipped, with a good size kitchen. The bedrooms are a good size with air conditioning, you also get a lovely roof area with memorable views of the island. The internet is very fast and the tv is good quality, with 'Go box' that has lots tv series and movies. It is also great for car rental, that I recommend you do for Gozo, with parking less then a minute away from the farmhouse, however the bus stop is a min away too so that's easy too. The Owner was great and is there when ever you need him, anytime ! Overall I can't say a bad word about this charming farmhouse, it was excellent and I would love to go back ! …
Excellent family and group stay near a quiet beach
We had a great time at this apartment based literary a few meters from the beach. We were greeted by Joseph, the owner of Sea Breeze and stayed in the middle floor apartment. All amenities in a great condition and well maintained. We also could park nearby our rented car.
Joseph was helpful in letting us know what is best to go to. There is a little board on the ground floor with all the information you need, such as buses timetable, emergency services etc.
You can also rent a boat at the beach and eat well in the local area. Really nice spot to spend your family or group holidays. …
