“Awesome stay!” The farmhouse was just as described in the website and on the photos. The location was very easy to find with the help of a GPS. It was very warming and with the help of the excellent service by the owners of the vills, it was very cosy. Made our stay in Gozo an exceptional one :)
“Ta Nanna Farmhouse Gozo, Malta” This was our 3 (could be 4th, I really forget)trip to Gozo and staying at Ta Nanna Farmhouse. As usual, it was wonderful! Marvik arranged for our transport to and from Malta airport, and our car rental.Everything was supplied in the farmhouse that you could possibly need. I have been in the other farmhouses that Marvik offers and they are really all lovely. I wouldn't hesitate to stay in any of them. We just choose this one because we are "sentimental" plus, we can walk to town, we can also walk up to the cliffs and many spots with beautiful views.
Well "tourism" has now hit Gozo. The tourist busses are way to big for the roads and you have to always stop and let them go buy or you may hit a rock wall. The square is mobbed with tourists. We drove a lot of the island but after awhile got tired of battling the busses. Marviks, mother Victoria is absolutely fantastic!!! His father,Antonio( I believe that is his name) is also just delightful!. I love them both.
I know that Gozo is really dependent upon tourism and I do understand that it brings in a lot of money. However, I would suggest that maybe they only allow Vans instead of busses which would help with the road situation.
Would we go back, I think we would. We would be more prepared for all the "busses" this time.
There is sooo much to see on Gozo. Which is a very small island. If you get out of the tourist areas, you will have a great time driving and seeing all that there is to see.
Do not let the busses deter you from going to Gozo or staying in one of Marviks wonderful farmhouses. You will not regret it.
If interested, the website is www.gozobreak.com. If I can help anyone, I will be more than willing. One more thing. Do not go in the summer as it is just tooo darn hot. April, first part of May, Sept, and Oct. are great. Those are the times we have been there.
I hope you visit Gozo and stay at Marviks farmhouses. It is truly a wonderful, relaxing, serene experience.
“A relaxing and enjoyable experience” Thank you Marvik. This was truly a pleasant and relaxing break. The farm house was great and the pool and deck fantastic. All of us, especially the kids, loved it. The place is comfortable and well kept and your mum and dad welcomed us and were very helpful. We will surely be back and definitely recommend Ta' Nikola to our friends.
