"Home from home with stunning view"

This is a very comfortable ground floor flat with a new and very effective central heating system and a view of sea, rocks, sand, birds, and dolphins. The kitchen is modern and well equipped, and the beds comfortable. There is a plethora of games, and a wide screen TV. Everything works, and there are clear instructions for anything which might be unfamiliar. The furniture and carpets are old fashioned - possibly fashionably 70's retro - but this made my elderly companion feel very at home, and everything was comfortable. The owner is a delight to deal with - communicative, welcoming, and hospitable, and it was great to find the cupboards containing salt, sugar, cooking oil etc, because so often one forgets and has to buy them. Altogether, we had a lovely stay, in a delightful seaside town, with many interesting shops in a busy High Street. Perfect for recharging the batteries!

we really enjoyed our stay @ chelmsford house,
it is very comfortable and well equipped .
the location on the sea front is brilliant
wi fi was handy for teenagers
hope to go back soon

"Overlooking the beach and out towards the Bass Rock, this is possibly the best location in the whole of North Berwick."

If ever 'ideally situated' meant anything then it is here. You can sit and have your coffee whilst looking onto the beach and out to sea. Or better still, take your coffee onto the beach!
The house is well maintained, clean and very comfortable and the owners are friendly and welcoming. A good find and we are sure to return to this lovely coastal town with its enduring appeal.

"Lovely Sea"

Chelmsford House was a really nice place to stay. The Sea is directly in front of the door. North Berwick has everything you need and Edinburgh isn't that far. The owners are very friendly people. Scotland is one of the loveliest places in the world!
