Located a short drive from Edinburgh, the Quayside is perfect for an assortment of holidays, be it golfers visiting the 22 golf courses nearby, families wanting to relax on the beach outside, or those wanting to explore Edinburgh which lies just 5 miles away and can easily be accessed by car or public transport.
The apartment is has a stunning views across the beach, and has a great children's play area outside, making it perfect for the family, or just a quiet night watching the sun set over the sea. Adjoining the apartment block is 'The Quay' a great place for food and drink for those wanting an escape from the cooking.

We are a family business, and we respond to each and every enquiry we receive with a personal message. We do not always manage to respond within the time limits set by the Holiday Lettings website, which is why our rating isn't 100%. Instead, what you do get when you book with us is a personal touch - we usually respond each evening, but we can be slower at weekends.

The apartment consists of a Master bedroom with double bed, and en-suite with purpose built shower. A triple bedroom with bunk-beds and a single bed. And a third bedroom with a multi-way bed, which can be made up as a Twin or a Double room - the room will be a double as standard, or as a twin with a single and a small single bed on request. There is also a travel cot available for a baby, and by arrangement we can provide a toddler bed suitable for a child up to 3 (please allow 28 days notice) Note, if you wish to make use of both the cot and toddler bed we have to remove one of the single beds to make room. The apartment sleeps 7 + a child up to 3 very comfortably, but we recommended a maximum of 5 adults for comfort.
There is a family bathroom with bath and shower. The living room is open plan with views out to sea, comfortable leather sofa and chairs, the TV has limited sky viewing (no subscription) a DVD player and a selection of family DVDs available. The kitchen/diner is fully equipped to feed 7 + a child up to 3 using the high chair. A great deal of care has been taken to supply everything we can think of for a small child on holiday, without compromising the high standard of accommodation for guests without children.
Please Note: Access to our 1st floor apartment is via a flight of internal stairs with no lift.

There is one reserved parking space in the underground car park, and a private car park in front of the apartment block as well. There is a children's play area next to the beach.
We require non-refundable 25% deposit to secure your booking, and payment 6 weeks in advance of arrival, or full payment on booking if arrival is within 6 weeks.
The Lothians region
Just a short drive/bus away is the fantastic city of Edinburgh, with activities to suit all ages and tastes from the panoramic views from Arthur's Seat and Edinburgh Castle, to making the most of Scotland's Capital city.
For the Whiskey lover, then no trip to Edinburgh would be complete without visiting the "Whiskey Experience" located on the Royal Mile in the heart of the old city.
For the kids, as well as all the castles and museums there is the world famous 'Dynamic Earth' and 'Camera Obscura''
The Edinburgh festival is a must see for anyone visiting in August, and the Christmas markets are a heart-warming tradition in December.
A few meters down the beach form the apartment is Fisherrow Harbor, a quiet but still working harbor with fishing a boats and small yachts coming and going with the tides. Musselburgh is also home to to a great Horse Racing track, inside of which is found "The Old Golf Course", officially recognised by Guinness World Records as the oldest golf course in the world!
