Italy holidays

Vineyards and olive groves in Chianti, canals and gondoliers in Venice, and ancient ruins in Rome… It’s hard to imagine anywhere more captivating than Italy. One thing’s for sure: no matter where you begin, your first visit will spark a lifelong love affair.

Rurall Idyll, Urban Paradise

Italy’s varied landscapes stretch from the snowcapped peaks of the Alps in the north to the sun-kissed beaches of Sicily, so holidaymakers are spoilt for choice. As well as idyllic rural destinations with breathtaking mountains and coastline, Italy is brimming with stunning cities to explore. Rome is a treasure trove of ancient sites and artefacts while Florence, capital of the Renaissance, is a pure celebration of art and architecture.

Full Of History & Flavour

Venture a little further south and you’ll reach the coastal city of Naples in the Campania region. Nearby Mount Vesuvius dominates the skyline; its eruption in 79 AD buried the town of Pompeii in ash, resulting in one of the largest (and most fascinating) archeological sites in the world. The very soul of Naples, and of Italy in general for that matter, is food. Alongside trademark Neapolitan gelato, you can sample balsamic vinegar in Modena, tuck into a true bolognese in Bologna, or hunt for truffles in Tuscany. Your tastebuds will thank you for it.

Coastal Delights

Italy’s familiar ‘boot’ shape affords the country mile upon mile of picturesque coastline on the Mediterranean, Tyrrhenian and Adriatic Seas. The glorious Amalfi Coast, with its clifftop houses and Michelin-star restaurants, stretches along the Sorrentine Peninsula. And further north, the UNESCO-listed villages of ‘Cinque Terre’ dot the coast with colour from Monterosso to Riomaggiore.

Casale Vento in summer
Beautiful sunset

The house is set in a quiet location with a fabulous view and evening sunset. House met our needs as we spent more time outside and in the pool than inside. Gardens and pool are well maintained with the pool technician and gardener dropping in to ensure all was well. The boys and dads appreciated the table tennis! Great communication with Maria, who arranged additional sun beds and umbrella for our party of 5 adults and 3 teens. Rome is easily located from Cesano train station and plenty of free daytime parking. We all grew to love the property, the sunset, Lake Bracciano which is just a short drive away and a beautiful place to swim.see more
Lucca with terrace & wi-fi
Serena Lucca apartment

The apartment met all our needs, it was well located close to the centre of Lucca, restaurant and five minute walk to the bus stop. The apartment was clean, spacious and had three bedrooms which is ideal for larger families. The only draw back that there was not a laundry. However there was a laundromat two doors from the apartment. I would stay in this apartment if ever I was in lucca.see more
villa with private rooftop pool surrounded by greenery
Absolutely wonderful!

We enjoyed the beautiful, peaceful surroundings, the garden, the spacious house, as well as the pool! Everything was well appointed and very clean and inviting. Davide was a very gracious host, and his family restaurant was very delicious as well. We look forward to staying here again on the return visits to Sardegna.see more
VILLA WITH POOL ,TERRIFIC VIEW 5 TERRE AREA LERICI
Stunning Place to Stay

From booking the villa, to arriving, and then throughout the entire week Gian was a great host. We were a group of 6 and the place was perfect. Everything you could want was there at the house. It was well equipped to cook at home. There was a washing machine, hairdryers, shampoo, basic amenities such as tea and coffee. Everything had been well thought out. The outside pool area was the perfect space to relax, read a book, chat, or eat meals. We spent a lot of time outside there as the view was spectacular. So stunning it took your breath away. The location was fantastic as well, a 10 minute walk downhill to beautiful Lerici and then the convenience of a free shuttle back home. We had a wonderful week and would go back in a heartbeat.see more

Excellent stay

Excellent apartment well equipped. Host extremely helpful. Perfect for our group of 6 adults. Apartment is located on the river a short way from town. Only small complaint was the road noise. … see more
casa alla piana
Wonderful stay

Myself and my daughter had a fantastic holiday in Bellagio. The house is ideally located, 15 min walk to a wonderful pasticceria and 10 min walk to two supermarkets (although be aware of steep climb back) We walked into Bellagio centre every day - about 30 mins downhill there and 40 mins up hill back. We hired bikes from the local Bianchi bike hire shop, just 15 min walk away, who were very helpful, great bikes and service. The house itself was very clean and had great views of the lake and mountains and the hosts were very kind and helpful and met us when we arrived, and were able to speak enough English for us. Exactly what we were looking for and very reasonable. We would definitely recommend a stay and would love to return. Bellagio is expensive but the local shops to where the house is situated are more reasonable, would recommend a car to most, but a small one as the roads are on the narrow side.see more
