“Stylish, peaceful, and authentic finca in a perfect setting” From the moment the electric gates roll open, you know you are in a very special place. Magnificent olive and palm trees adorn the courtyard and reveal a house that is completely modern yet still authentically Mallorcan.
It could not be better situated for access to the charming village of Campanet with it's lovely square and brilliant local bars and restaurants, and the buzzy market town of Sa Pobla. The main roads to Palma and the beaches and towns of the north are close by and convenient, but do not in any way intrude on the peace and tranquility of the place. We loved every minute we spent in this fabulous house and will definitely be going back.
“Home from Home” Great apartment, well kept communal pools and gardens, right on the beach. We stayed for ten nights and ate in a different restaurant every night around the marina. Everything we needed for a restful holiday was there in the apartment or within a 10 minute walk. This was our fourth visit to Duquesa and we will be back next year.
“Great Place” We have been going to Puerto Rico, gran canaria for more than 20years. We have been going to this apartment for the last 3 or so years and find it ideal for our needs. The postion is great in that it is not far up the hill, as one gets older walking up the hill gets harder. The facilities at the Tindya are good, with heated pool and never too busy at the time of the year we go. The facilities at the apartment are very good...we have stayed for up to a month...with there being a cooker it means you can eat in...it gets expensive eating out all the time.
The only minus for the people who cannot do with out a television whilst on holiday there isn't one...this does not worry us as we read, play scrabble and going walking there is more to life than missing a few weeks of rubbish UK television ..
Richard who holds the keys will meet you at the property and if there are any problems he deals with them immediately.
And finally, although I have never met her, Irene the owner is great .
“Excellent apartment, superb location” My extended family and I stayed in this apartment for 2 weeks in July. We were 6 grownups with 5 kids aged 2 to 13 years. The apartment with its 5 bedrooms and 3 WCs and spacious living- and dining-rooms was just perfect for us.
The location is superb. Some 100 meters to the Playa de Torrecilla, a very nice low key beach. Another 100 meters to the pedestrian streets of central Nerja with small shops and bars and dining places. Tutti Frutti with its nigh life and clubs is not far away if you are so inclined. If you need more supplies than catered for by the small shops in the neighbourhood there is a 10-15 minutes stroll to the Mercadona or the Super Sol supermarkets.
The apartment itself is at the top floor of the complex. You can see the beach-line below Balcon de Europa from the balcony and some of the rooms of the apartment! Actually you have uninterrupted view of the horizon and the mountains from windows and balconies of the apartment.
The apartment is very well equipped in terms of kitchen utensils and dish- and silverware. The kitchen has new electric equipment, is spacious and functional. Everything clean and easy to use.
The agency that takes care of on-site service of the apartment organized pick-up for us at Malaga Airport. We had plans for renting cars for daytrips etc but the superb location of the apartment made those plans redundant. Everything we needed was within reach by walking. The long-distance buses stop at Plaza Cantarero (Orange Square) close to the supermarkets. Buses go to Malaga, Granada, the Nerja Caves, Frigiliana etc.
Bottom line: A five star apartment at a five star location!
“Great base to explore.” This is the third time we have stayed in las ramblas golf resort estate. We stayed for three weeks in Aug/Sept.
Firstly this is a really good sized penthouse apartment. Only four of us stayed but plenty big enough for six people. We liked the fact that two of the bedrooms were on the ground floor and the master bedroom upstairs.
The master bedroom has a private bathroom and patio doors to a roof top terrace. The roof top terrace is huge and gave my wife plenty of time to catch the early morning sun before the kids woke up. As it was off the bedroom it also meant she didn't wake the kids by going downstairs. I would say more could be made of the roof top terrace, a gas BBQ and a nice seating area would make this space perfect.
In each of the three bedrooms there is a huge amount of storage space and the beds were comfy. There isn't A/C in the downstairs bedrooms but the fans together with the living area A/C are plenty.
The communal pool is our favourite at Las Ramblas and the apartment is close to the pool.
There are loads of beaches within 5-15 minutes. We love the beach at Cabo Roig which is close by but our favourite is Mils Palmeras and the Paela at the pirate bar is amazing.
In my opinion you need a car to explore the area. There is loss to do for families and kids and this penthouse is superb to relax in. The extra space and rooftop terrace are priceless especially after a long day at the beach a cold San Miguel star gazing from the roof top.
There is no Wi-fi which for us was a bonus as meant the kids had to interact with us rather than the iPad.
I would recommend hiring this property. This is the first time we have had an apartment with rooftop terrace and it really does add to the holiday experience.
The penthouse is a ten minute walk from La Fuente centre which is full of restaurants and bars.
The owner was very helpful throughout the booking process. This penthouse pricing was very competitive when we booked and worth every penny.
“All the comforts of home while you relax in the sun.” We found this apartment spacious, well equipped and comfortable with superb views and lots of outside space to enjoy the sun. It is a short walk to the beach where we enjoyed swimming. There is also a lovely swimming pool within the apartment complex.
“The Real Lanzarote - enjoy the village life of Haria.” A little gem of a hideaway on the edge of Haria with amazing views down to Arrieta and Punta Mojaria. Great place to enjoy a simple self catering holiday where you wish to experience the real Lanzarote. Beautiful landscapes, great walking , unspoilt beaches and total tranquility. The outdoor space was great and brilliant for barbeque - star gazing.
Haria itself easy walk to cafes, shops and resturants and the local produce ( Octopus salad a must) at the cooperative run by local inhabitants was fantastic. Hire Car almost essential unless the keenest of walkers and the northern end of Lanzarote all within easy reach. Lesley and Ron great hosts with excellent local knowledge.
“Lovely clean apartment. Good communication with owner” We have been to this resort before, to a different apartment, so knew what to expect. Lovely resort - peaceful and very well maintained. The apartment was ideally placed and very clean. Communication with the owner was excellent and we were not rushed out on the last day which is great if the flight home is later in the day. One or two very minor things but this was mainly down to the fact that the owner was new to renting this property and I am sure these will disappear over time. Would definitely go back to this apartment.
“Excellent stay at Casa Becca” We had a brilliant time at Casa Becca it had all the facilities you could think of and was spotlessly clean. We had pool and table tennis tournaments BBQs and the swimming Pool is lovely. It was a great family holiday and when we told them we had a late flight they let us have a late check out at 7pm. We would definitely recommend & return to Casa Becca
Los Jazmines is in a great location with easy walking access to the old town, the beach and also a beautiful walk along the boardwalk to Puerto Banus.
The view is not great overlooking a road and s… More
Dear Jenny thank you for your constructive feedback. We regularly upgrade our towels and linen, and aim to keep the apartment decor fresh. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Our balcony does not have frontline seaviews however most guests like it and the fact that it has sun all day long. Unfortunately we need time to do the changeover clean and guests do not have to vacate until 11am. There were previous guests the day you arrived and our cleaner did her best to turn it around quickly for you. We hope you enjoyed your holidays in San Pedro. Thank you Joaquin and Kerry
“Great family villa set in quiet resort with good local amenities” A lovely spacious villa with open plan kitchen/dinning area which further spreads to the living area and balcony so that the family can always be together (if they want to be). The bedrooms are on the lower level with en-suite bathrooms all finished to a high standard. There is a decent TV (with a reasonable and varied DVD collection) and all normal appliances so that one can enjoy oneself in a relaxed and comfortable manner. We did enjoy the Gecko's on the balcony in the evening.
The bedrooms open out onto the garden and swimming pool which dominates and is of a good size. It is all very nice and pleasant to while away the time there and again, everything is to a high standard.
The driveway is a bit steep and requires good clutch control when pulling out into the road but is not a real problem. The estate that the villa is on is quiet and never seems to have any traffic meaning that it is easy to walk down to the sea and to walk along the shops there (less than 5 minutes) which makes for a pleasant evenings exercise after the rigours of doing precious little during the day.
Beeches and more extensive restaurant options are available within a 10 minute drive and Mahon and airport are around a half hour drive.
All in all, a very pleasant villa and a great holiday was enjoyed by our family. Strongly recommend.
“FANTASTIC VILLA AGAIN” This is the second time in a year that we have stayed in this beautiful villa and cannot rate it high enough. It is situated in a quiet, residential part of Los Mojones with a high wall surrounding the villa and pool giving you complete privacy and security but is still within walking distance of local restaurants and shops.
Villa is fully equipped to a high standard with everything you could need for a great holiday including a safe, free wifi and a fantastic kitchen plus high quality furniture within the villa itself.
Pool is solar heated and warm to step into, we just love it.
Welcome pack is a lovely thought on arrival and is greatly appreciated.
Richard and Linda are a fantastic management team and nothing is too much bother for them. They keep villa and pool spotless and are very friendly and approachable, an asset to be treasured.
Booking this villa is easy and it lives up to expectations. We have stayed in other villas in Lanzarote but nothing equates to this gem.
We will be back soon.
“Blissful retreat in Andalucian village of Gaucin” Casa Muneca is a place that you will find it difficult to leave, and one to which you will no doubt want to return to time after time. A delightful welcome from key holder Agusutina who keeps the place spotlessly clean and tidy and who lives close by if you should need help or advice (her English is rather limited, however with smiles and gestures much can be communicated and she loves to hear faltering attempts at Spanish) The house is comfortable & homely, elegantly furnished with many interesting little touches that blend well both old and modern styles of Andalucia, it is well equipped with all that you need for self-catering. We did not need to use the fire as the weather was warm in the evenings, but one can imagine how cosy this would be later in the year or on one of the rare rainy days.
Most of our time (including breakfasts) was spent on the spacious veranda that looks out across the village rooftops to the mountains beyond. The views are absolutely stunning; on a clear day one can see the rock of Gibraltar and the distant coast of Africa. From here you can watch Eagles soaring overhead in the clear morning light, spend a pleasant siesta sunbathing or sheltering in the shade, in the evening relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the most wonderful sunsets imaginable, and at night time sit quietly watching the moon rise in the star studded sky.
Gaucin itself is such an interesting and friendly village, quite a maze of little streets many of which are steep to climb. It has a great and varied selection of good eating houses/bars, cafes and art/craft gift shops (all within relatively easy walking distance if you are OK with steep streets). There are a couple of Supermarkets for general supplies, although we preferred to shop at the (friendlier) smaller shops to support local trade. There is also a Wholefood shop/Internet cafe at the bottom of the village. It is an artists and writers paradise, a place that leaves one feeling inspired.
Gaucin is a fantastic base to explore from; surrounded by stunningly beautiful little white villages tucked away in the mountains, and of course not too far from Ronda which is a real cultural must see/visit. A trip down to the coast is also a nice day out, much of it is rather built up and touristy however there are some smaller places that are still wonderful if you are lucky enough to come across them. All in all Casa Muneca and its location are just perfect for an Andalusian adventure and/or just as a retreat to relax and recuperate from life.
Es nuestra segunda estancia en esta casa...nos gusta todo, desde la piscina, hasta las flores del jardín. Hizo muy buen tiempo y los niños pudieron trepar por los árboles, coger fruta, explorar y p… More
“Peace and Harmony in the sunshine with a great place to stay.” The Villa is located about 5 minutes walk from shops and restaurants and the new beach, if you stand near the pool and look out the only thing you'll see is trees no properties at all obstructing your view to the front. The villa has everything that you need 3 spacious bedrooms, 1 en-suite and a shower room, heated pool, massive tv with every channel imaginable, large outside dining/ living area, v peaceful location we didn't hear a thing for the week we were there. The owner and property Manager Pat and Mandy were both fantastic as I'd been let down by another Villa owner after paying in full. They came to my rescue would I book again ? Without A Doubt Many Thanks from a sunny Callao Salvaje.
