“Home from home” We stayed two weeks at this apartment and were sad to leave at the end because we felt so at home. The owner, Mary, was extremely helpful and only too pleased to offer assistance or advice if needed. She met us at the station to show us the way and came up with plenty of good suggestions during our stay. We found the location, 5 minutes walk from Arguelles station, very handy for wherever we wanted to go and was in a good neighbourhood with plenty of good quality bars, cafes and restaurants. The apartment had a comfortable bedroom, a more than adequate kitchen and a spacious living room with dining table, TV and wifi. The only thing to be aware of is that it is located on the 4th floor with no lift. We had no problem with this but others may.

“Very nice appartment for visit of central Spain” We enjoyed very much staying in this appartment. We stayed one week. City center is in walking distance, with cafes and shops. One supermarket is there as well, with same value-for-money as the big supermarkets located futher out of the city. The appartment is charmingly styled. Although we only had contact via the internet - our hosts were really helpfull with any request or question. Train-Station is about 1km away with regular connections into Madrid city center. Local bus terminal is much in the center - also with regular connections into Madrid. El Escorial is a good place to discovery several tourist attractions in central Spain.

The apartment is located close to all major attractions and surrounded by loads of bars and restaurants. It is very well equipped and stylish throughout with all you need for a long or a short stay, The air con was essential for the hot Madrid nights during our visit.
