“Converted cave dweller!” We absolutely loved the cave. Forget conceptions that it will be damp, dark and dreary this cave is white bright spacious and not a spider or any other insect in sight. The temperature is remarkable, outside it was 35C while inside remained 18C with no need for air con or fans. Most rooms had windows or light wells and all were light and spacious. The cave was much larger than we had imagined and was ideal for our party of 2 adults and 2 kids but it would have easily accomodated 2
families or a group of 10.Having access to a large pool and lovely restuarant within a 5 minute walk was very convenient. The absolute silence was fanstatic. There is a lovely patio area sheltered from the sun that was ideal to eat and drink in or there are also 2 dining rooms inside the cave. Finally watching the stars including the milky way and shooting stars was incredible. The owner Matt was very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this cave and we are looking forward to returning.
“living in a cave” It is a wonderful place!!!very silence and peaceful and very near Granada too
The terrace gives you a panoramic view of a valley in Sierra Nevada. we enjoy it a lot and also the bbq
We were very happy there and we will come back! We could go to the mountains to relax walking and by car to L´Alambra
“Unique accommodation in a superb location” visited Cueva Peralta in March 2015 with my husband, 7 year old daughter and our dog. We stayed for 3 days and had a fantastic time. Bob was amazingly welcoming and his mini guide to the local village and tips for trips was invaluable. We walked to the village on Friday night (an easy 10 minute stroll) and enjoyed delicious cheap drinks and free tapas at Victors and another bar which I cant recall sorry, both were child friendly.
The cave had everything we needed and was surprisingly cosy. We used the wood burner at night. more for atmosphere but it threw out a lot of heat and the house really retained the warmth. It was very dark and quiet at night, a perfect chill out space. My daughter was crazy about the accommodation and really enjoyed her cave room. She loved collecting wood for the fire, exploring down by the river and lounging in the hot tub. She said it was one of her best holidays ever - high praise from a 7 year old - and she didn't want to leave!
We really enjoyed our stay - the house was fab with lots of atmosphere and in a great central location for exploring, I'd definitely recommend it!
“Excellent” Great facilities especially the pool and the views, very quiet location but limited shops and restaurants in the immediate area so car hire is essential if you want to explore and have easy access to the more populated locations and the beaches.
“Comfortable, relaxing and great barbeque!” The cave house was perfect for our holiday. Comfortable and clean, the garden is lovely and we certainly made good use of the barbeque! The pool is quite small but was just right for cooling off in, and is perfect for children. The area is very peaceful and there is beautiful views over the lemon and orange groves from the garden. A car is necessary for getting around, but it is possible (if it's not too hot) to walk into the local town for supplies.
