“"The most perfect holiday ever"” We have just come back from a 3 week holiday staying at Casa Innismore, It was absolutely perfect in everyway. The location is fab with bars in easy walking distance and the beautiful promenade is just minutes away. There is a Spar just over the road which is great for stocking up on the essentials. The villa is modern, spacious and so very homely. The private pool is fab too and it is cleaned twice a week. The only problem there was, was having to leave and come home. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely be returning.
“Fantastic Location” My husband & I booked a last minute holiday. The apartment was lovely, yes some parts of it need up dating like previous reviewers have said but it was more than adequate for the 2 of us. Communication with Elizabeth was excellent. We have dealt with many Property Managers all over the world and would say Elizabeth is probably one of the best at replying to any queries immediately. The location of the apartment is literally a few minutes walk to the beach. There is a lovely costal path which runs for miles with many bars to take a rest at. We hired a car to explore the island which was well with it. All in all we had a wonderful week, the weather was beautiful. Thank you Elizabeth.
“Location and facilities ideal.” Accommodation has all the equipment for a relaxing stay. Cleanliness good, both bath and shower available. English TV if you want it. Hairdryer, iron etc, which is not always provided. Outside beds comfortable, and patio area has sun most of the day.
Location excellent, nearest supermarket only a 5 minute walk and office on site has immediate needs such as water, milk, and bread. Very close to pool which is well kept and safe with life guard on duty. Also Tennis Court and Boules pit with equipment at office to hire if required. Central location within resort, shops, restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Would definitely use this accommodation again
“Wow - there are no words.” Nothing I could write here would sum up how incredible our stay was at Villa Grace - This wasn’t our first villa stay on Lanzarote, it won’t be our last time to the island or to Villa Grace!
I’ll start with Kerry (the wonderful lady who owns the villa). She’s incredibly warm, helpful & knowledgeable.
The villa itself is huge, spacious, modern and luxury. We stayed for 8 nights and had absolutely everything we needed for a family holiday.
The pool and hot tub are great - the pool is heated to a lovely warm temperature. There’s so much outside space and even games and toys for the kids!
Talking of kids, they were thrilled to have good WiFi, an Xbox and so many dvds so watch!
Location is great, only a 3-4 minute walk to a few restaurants, bars, shops and the bus stop which links you to town and the marina.
Thank you Kerry, you’re amazing!
“A wonderful holiday.” I stayed here as a party of 5 on a girls holiday. We arrived to a lovely welcome pack of cheese, ham, bread, biscuits , wine and beer. A nice touch and we were grateful to sit down and have a quick bite before getting a big shop in.
Accommodation was perfect. We each took a room including using the sofa bed as a room. Worked out well. Kitchen had everything you'd need and is even more spacious than the photos would have you believe. Bedrooms are clean and all nicely laid out with plenty of room for clothes etc.
Pool was perfect and ideal for families. Lots of pool toys in a covered container and buckets and spades, table tennis and a small putting green.
Location is outside of town and a good 25-30 min walk to the centre of Playa Blanca. Taxi 3-4 Euro back. Large supermarket opposite the bus station is fully stocked and by far the best place for a big shop.
Owner was easy to deal with and very responsive to my queries.
Cons: we had some very heavy rainfall while we were staying at villa and when rain came at a certain angle it literally poured into the sofa bed room through a damaged seal window. We used buckets, towels and mops to control it. Agent said this was normal as it comes through the air vents. There was also similar issue in master bedroom but not as bad. This room and bed sheets felt a bit damp. I guess as a result of this occurring frequently over winter months. Agent left a couple of bottles of wine for the inconvenience and replaced towels. I guess this dries over the summer months.
Overall however I would highly recommend and would consider returning with my family in the future. It's quiet, secure, private, clean and well equipped.
“Villa Rosa” Perfect apartment for our family of four. It had everything you need for a wonderful holiday. Clean and equipped with modern facilities. The location is ideal close to the promenade where it is a pleasant 10mins walk to the beautiful marina. The main beach is another 15mins approximately but an enjoyable walk. We loved it!!
“Excellent Bungalow” Have just returned from a glorious 10 days here. Complex is peaceful and relaxing with all that Playa Blanca has to offer on your doorstep. Bungalow well equipped to a high standard and pool area is quiet without any need to stake a claim for a sunbed! Beautiful evening strolls along the promenade to the Marina or an abundance of good quality restaurants and bars within a minutes walk. Beaches minutes away and would recommend ferry to Furteventura for a day trip. anyone booking this apartment will not be disappointed and am already looking to book my return trip next year.
“Lovely villa with the most perfect sea view!” This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this villa. Last year we stayed 2 weeks in September just my husband & myself for 1 week & were joined by friends for the 2nd week. We hired a car both times for the transfer from the airport but found it very easy to walk down to the sea ( about 20 mins) and then walk left into Playa Blanca port or right to more restaurants and along to the lighthouse( both lovely walks) There is also a taxi rank 10 mins walk along the road. There are plenty of hotels on the front for happy hour or evening entertainment.
The villa is very comfortable with a good kitchen & plenty of space inside. It has a lovely swimming pool with sun bathing terrace & plenty of sunbeds. The terrace is very private, peaceful & sheltered and gets the sun all day. There are 2 lovely areas for lazy lunches or evening meals when you don't want to eat out. We cooked fresh fish which you can buy from Las Colarados S/mkt if you have a car or the big s/mkt in Playa Blanca if not ( sorry can't remember its name)
The view is really the most spectacular, it stretches from the cliffs at Papagayo to the lighthouse & it's fantastic getting up in the morning & looking across to Fuertaventura or watching the sun go down behind Montana Roja.
Wish we were going back tomorrow and will definitely book again.
“Lovely Villa - book it!” Stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it!
The owner was really helpful from the outset, offering plenty of advice and we loved all the recommendations for local cuisine, especially Sebastyans!
The villa was ideal for us - clean and spacious with everything and more needed to make it feel a real home from home.
Would happily recommend this villa - and the pool too!
“Home from Home..!” Perfection at its best...location is fantastic with restaurants and shops literally a five minutes away along with supermarket, three minutes away!
As for the villa, this has all the comforts of home with comfortable beds as well as comfort throughout the living area and outside patio area. Sun loungers have comfy cushions as well as the garden furniture. Set front line in wonderful gardens and very close to reception and pool, it is a good location to people spot too!
Not one to miss, I will certainly be back!
“Non Driver first villa holiday” Our group consisted of my husband, our 19-year-old son and myself. We stayed for 8 nights at the end of May so my apologies for the delay in posting this review.
I have always used the services of a travel agent in the past and this was our first ever self-book/ villa holiday. I admit to being very nervous about the whole process especially as we are non-drivers and I was particularly concerned that transport around the villa would be an issue. Dave and Carol communicated with me throughout the booking process (and whilst we were at the villa) which helped ease my worries and their advance information, hints, tips, recommendations, directions etc. were greatly appreciated.
We left the airport and easily found the taxi rank which was supervised and right outside the main entrance (we ignored drivers touting inside as we were not convinced they use authorised taxis). The journey to the villa took around 30 minutes at a cost of 50 Euros + tip. We did miss the villa in the dark and had to go around the block again but if we had carefully followed the directions given to us we really shouldn’t have missed it. The taxi drivers English was even less than my very limited Spanish so communication wasn’t easy. This was something I found throughout the island (although menus in restaurants were available in English and many other different languages), why I was surprised at the “lack of English” I really don’t know, I was on a Spanish island after all, but I suppose I am used to going to large touristy places where they seem to make a point of employing English speaking staff.
The villa is accurately described on the website and by the many other very satisfied reviewers so there is little point describing it in detail again although I would add my agreement that it is extremely clean and extremely well equipped. I particularly appreciated the washing machine as I managed to wash all our clothes before going home which was a great help as we were returning to have a new kitchen fitted and would be without access to our own machine. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfy as we all slept well. We needed the ceiling fans on during the night but I’m not sure how it would be without air-conditioning at the height of summer. The WIFI worked very well which was very important to my teenage son. Whilst the pool isn’t huge and is overlooked from the villas either side it was clean and I enjoyed having it to myself (pool cleaners came once whilst we were there). There is private off street parking for anyone who needs it.
The villa itself is in a very quiet residential area just 2 minutes’ walk to a well-stocked Dino supermarket where you can get everything you need for a self-catering holiday including delicious fresh bread and pastries. Fortunately, it is open until 10 pm which was great as we arrived just after 9 pm so we had sufficient time to nip out to get supplies in for breakfast. I noticed when searching for a villa that some arrange welcome food packs and whilst there was no formal pack there were various items available tea, coffee, cooking oil, salt and pepper etc. This was the one thing I forgot to ask about before going and found we needed to replace disposable items during our stay- kitchen rolls, toilet rolls, bin bags, washing up liquid, disinfectant wipes but soap powder and dishwasher tablets were supplied. I think many of the items (including sun cream, shower gels etc) were left over from previous holiday makers; we left various items ourselves, so I do not know what anyone can expect to find on future visits.
A taxi rank is opposite Dino’s although we rarely saw a taxi there so ended up using the bus to Playa Blanca and getting a taxi back (4 or 5 Euros +tip). The bus stop was only a further 2 minutes’ walk from Dino’s. The buses are every 30 minutes (even on a Sunday) and the fare was a fixed price of 1 Euro 40 whether going 1 stop or the whole route. There are timetable details in the very full information folder provided by the owners. I did phone and book a taxi (number in information folder) for our return journey to the airport and I managed to easily communicate time and date then had to phone again and change it when I realised I had given the wrong date (still living that one down!) the taxi turned up on time so I now realise I should have phoned and booked a taxi instead of using the bus especially considering the bus fares for the 3 of us wasn’t really much cheaper.
The villa is very close to the promenade where a 10/15 minute walk along it will take you to Marina Rubicon. This is a lovely quiet area with lots of restaurants and a small selection of shops and a market twice a week. We ate in several restaurants at the Marina and always had a good meal – they all had entertainment – singers which added to the experience. If you walk for another 10 minutes you will find a lovely little beach, carry on for about another 10 minutes and you will arrive at Playa Blanca itself. Both the Marina and Playa Blanca are very clean and family friendly resort. Playa Blanca is the busier of the two but nowhere near Blackpool level. I have an intermittent problem with my ankle but still managed to walk from Playa Blanca to the villa, I wouldn’t win any awards for speed but it is definitely doable for anyone with reasonable fitness level as it is mainly flat or where needed has ramps for wheelchairs or prams.
We went into Playa Blanca on three nights and ate in different restaurants each time but always ended up in the Irish pub –forget its name. The table service in the pub was fantastic and although it had good entertainment each night (singers) it was a bit repetitive as the same guy was singing the exact same playlist 3 nights later.
We didn’t venture very far from the villa as my husband was poorly when we arrived (man flu) and as the week went on my son got it too. They both shamelessly used this as an excuse to stay as much as possible reading and sunbathing beside the pool or up on the balcony and outvoted me at every turn when I tried to persuade them to go anywhere. This villa is a lovely place to stay, really comfortable and well decorated and bright and airy with lovely views. Close to all necessary amenities and within easy reach of lovely cafes and restaurants. A car definitely isn't needed and if anyone wanted to explore the island further it is easy and not expensive by public transport. On our return journey to the airport, my husband said he had really enjoyed the holiday and would like to come back to the villa again but next time for 2 weeks as 8 nights wasn’t long enough! Praise indeed from the man who doesn’t really like holidays and in almost 30 years of marriage we have never ever returned to the same holiday hotel/ venue. I did try and book for later this year but the dates I wanted were booked so it will have to be next year.
The review form asks "Would you recommend the holiday rental to a friend?"
What a dilemma. If I answer truthfully and recommend Casa Strutt I am seriously reducing my chances of getting booked again!!? So I will answer yes but only if they take me with them!
“Mr & Mrs” Lovely villa very clean fantastic value for money loads of space the air con was a bonus bedrooms very spacious & great to have a bathroom for each walk into town was flat also taxis are cheap
Looking forward to booking again soon
“Perfection on the doorstep...” The villa was immaculate, everything we could have wished for. It is the perfect location to the beach front and extremely close to all amenities along with great views within gorgeous landscaped gardens. The freshness and cleanliness as we walked in to the villa was rewarding as was the friendliness of the staff on reception and the garden maintenance & cleaning teams. The whole villa was comfortable with everything having been thought about and with the ease of working the appliances. Home from home!
The communal pool was very close to the property and maintained to perfection.
There is a Spar supermarket within a couple of minutes walk to the villa however a small shop is located on the complex premises for necessities such as water...
Restaurants are within a five minute walk to the promenade.
For us, this was the perfect villa and place to stay. We will definitely be coming back!
“Fabulous villa and the pool was bliss” We had a fabulous relaxing 9 night holiday. The villa was great, very well furnished with a fabulous ceiling fan in the main bedroom which was much appreciated in the heat. The pool was bliss, very clean, refreshing but without the cold shock. Our little boy had a great time jumping in and swimming around everyday.
The area was very peaceful and the view from the villa of the hills/mountains and sea was lovely.
We didn't hire a car, we walked, used the bus and taxis. We felt that the villa was perfectly positioned with access to some very good local amenities - a supermarket a minute walk away and another very well stocked supermarket at a nearby complex where there was also a good childrens play area and cafes. It was also not too far to walk to the Marina along the promenade or over the headland to the Papagayo beach.
It was a great holiday as my friend lives in Lanzarote and we had been invited to her wedding, so we had a celebration to enjoy with her and some old school friends who'd also come over. It was good fun meeting up for barbecues at our villas and meals at the restaurants in the Marina and Playa Blanca.
The English speaking housekeeping service were very helpful and were able to arrange for us to have a late checkout as we had an evening flight, so we had a great last day chilling in the pool before flying home.
“fantastic villa” What a wonderful villa,we stayed here the end of May with husband,3 sons eldest sons girlfriend and grandson. The villa itself is just how it is the photos ,it was lovely and clean and kitchen was well equipped. The pool was used daily but i would recommend heating on in May it was a bit chilly for grandson. The conservatory was great to sit and have lunch. The surrounding villas were largely empty which for us was a bonus it was quiet and private. We hired a car but didn't use it much, this holiday was for relaxing by the pool and walking to the beach which isn't very far away.A five minute walk is the super market with every thing you need there.Further away you will find some great restaurants (Larnis) Lovely food but a bit on the expensive side.To sum it all up we would go back tomorrow!
This beach town on the southern tip of Lanzarote is well known for being a little quieter than many resorts on this island. That doesn't mean it's short on things to do though - there's more than enough to keep everyone happy! Book you holiday rental in Playa Blanca.

Very clean, tidy and well appointed. All appliances worked though use of the A/C in the bedroom could be a little expensive to run and intrusive. Weekly supply of fresh towels and linen was welcome. Everyone at Last Brisas was extremely helpful and friendly. …

A wonderful villa, you will not be disappointed!
We stayed here last Christmas & New Year and it was by far the nicest villa we have stayed in over the past 4 years of trips to Playa Blanca.
Clean, spacious, very well equipped (proper duvets which my husband was delighted about!) and beautiful gardens & pool. Very peaceful and the owners were lovely, very accommodating & helpful, even buying a lovely cot just before we arrived for our son to sleep in. We will definitely return & would recommend to everyone. …

Our home from home in the sun
The villa is located part way up the hillside in a residential part of Plays Blanca. It is easy to find and whilst you could walk to Playa Flamingo, I recommend a car. The villa is well equipped for cooking if that's what you want, and it has a good sized TV with internet There is also AC at a small charge. The feature we love the most is the terrace. It has lovely views and has a shaded seating area and also 4 loungers. The owners are British and easily contacted before and during your holiday. The local managers are also British and provided a reliable cleaning and linen/towel change service. We had a lovely 3 week stay, so much so, that we booked for November 2019 before our holiday was over. …
