Renovated in 2015, Daisy Barn, has two bedrooms, 1 with double bed and ensuite, and the other a twin. There is also plenty of room for a cot. Tri-fold doors allow the light to flood into the open plan living space, which includes modern furniture and fully fitted kitchen. Fold back the doors and dine-out on the decking with a BBQ.
Penwarne Manor is flanked by beautiful woods, beaches, country lanes and coastal paths. The nearest beach is Portmellon, a family friendly cove which provides a safe environment for swimmers. It also has a local pub.
The village of Mevagissey is a 15 minute walk away. Featuring numerous shops and cafes. It is also one of the few working harbours in this part of Cornwall.
Within a 10 minute drive are Gorran Haven (another family friendly beach with some amenities and toilets), Hemmick Beach (beautiful and unspoilt) Vault (a bit more remote) and Caerhays Beach (also with some amenities and toilets).
For those who want to venture further afield there is the Roseland peninsula, an area of outstanding natural beauty.Other places to visit within an hour are St. Mawes, Padstow, Newquay, Wadebridge, Falmouth, Truro and Watergate Bay. We're ideally situated for exploring both the North and South coasts, each with something different to offer.
The Eden Project is nearby, around a 20 minute drive away. The Lost Gardens of Heligan (including the excellent Lobbs Farm Shop which sells a wide range of local, organic produce) is only a 10 minute drive away.
