Our guests have easy access to the Lakes and Mountains, Market Towns of Kendal and Sedbergh, both provide numerous amenities. With only 4 miles to the nearest junction of the M6 transport links for our guests living in the Northern Towns and Cities are very accessible. The Living Area is furnished with leather sofas, coffee table and a 50" TV, DVD and CD Player for the home entertainment of our Guests.

On the Ground Floor are Two bedrooms and a Family Bathroom. Each Bedroom has access to a outdoor patio area which enjoys morning sunlight. Bedroom One is a Double and Bedroom Two can be arranged as one Kingsize or a Twin Room depending on your individual requirements. An additional sleeping position is available if required on a sofabed in the upstairs Living Area.

Coomb View has access to private patio area with table and chairs to enjoy outdoor living and enjoy the dark night skys without urban orange glow. To the side of our barn conversion is a large lawned area and country garden complete with secure private parking for two cars.

Nestled between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks there are numerous activities, historical and cultural interest sites as well as a wonderful choice of walks. If you are feeling energetic there is a choice of high energy adventure such as Go Ape in the Grizedale Forest, Kayaking, Sailing, Mountain Biking, Climbing, Caving, Pot Holing, 4 x 4 Off Road Driving, Ghyll Scrambling and Hot Air Ballooning.

For family days out there are a host of attractions such as Lakeland Maize Maze, Brockhole Lake District Visitor Centre, World of Beatrix Potter, Lakes Cruises, Motor Boat Hire, South Lakes Wildlife Park, Fell Foot Park and an abundance of free access to Lakeside Beaches for Picnics, Mountains, Forests and Moorland. For wet days enjoy the many local museums, cinemas at Kendal, Bowness and Ambleside or even try your hand at Ten Pin Bowling at Morecambe.

Local National Trust sites include Sizergh Castle and Gardens, Hill Top Beatrix Potter Cottage, Wordsworth House and Gardens, Acorn Bank at Penrith to name a few.

There are many historical and cultural interest sites also include Abbott Hall Gallery and Museum, Kendal Castle, Kendal Museum, Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal and Farfield Mill Arts & Craft Heritage Centre in Sedbergh.

Weekly Markets in the Square in Kendal on Wednesdays and Saturdays and in Sedbergh the market is held on a Friday.
