“Welcoming and homely stay!”

Reviewed 23 Feb 2015

We visited Cockermouth for a weekend. Knowing the Lake District well we had our weekend planned, I highly recommend a visit to Go Ape if you like an adventure! Great fun! The cottage was just as I had expected. Lovely and warm, great facilities and felt very warmly welcomed by a lovely set table with tea cakes left for us and some milk in the fridge. Great value for money and was perfect for our short get away.

“Cosy and comfortable”

A small cottage full of history and character. The host was accommodating, and on arrival i was greeted by fresh, milk, plenty of tea/coffee and a hot cross bun!
