Rydal Cottage is an end terrace traditional Lakeland stone period cottage which is located in the charming town of Bowness On Windermere.

The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms. ( one King sized bed and one double bed ). Rydal cottage boasts a cosy lounge with a traditional log burner / multi fuel stove, smart TV, DVD player with a selection of DVDs and comfortable furniture.

We guarantee you will be so relaxed and settled in front of the log burner you wont want to venture out.

The kitchen / diner is a fully functional beautiful fitted kitchen with granite worktops, matching inset sink, induction hob, electric oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine, and a beautiful oak table and 4 dining chairs sit below the vintage ceiling lights whilst the utility room houses the washing machine / dryer and a large integrated fridge and freezer.

Beyond the utility room there is a ground floor toilet with a wash hand basin and towel warmer.

Rydal Cottage boasts a luxurious shower room with a large low level shower tray and rain forest shower with a beautiful feature stone clad wall, wall hung wash hand basin, wc and towel warmer.

To the rear of the cottage is a paved area with pot plants, flowers and garden furniture.

We supply our guests with our visitor parking permit which allows guests to park one vehicle in the street and a couple of surrounding streets on a first come, first served basis.

Shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes and tea rooms serving everything from local ales and beers, afternoon teas to quality meals with locally sourced produce are all only minutes walk away from Rydal Cottage.

Even the cinema is only a stones throw away.

Travel cot and highchair are available.

Rydal Cottage promises a truly memorable stay in a beautiful part of Cumbria which is world renown for its spectacular scenery.

Sorry No Pets Allowed. No smoking or vaping in the cottage.

Bed linen, fuel, power and a basket of logs / timber are included in the rental.

Located in the lounge of Rydal cottage is visitor information book where you will find a wealth of information from local history, places to visit, things to do, places to eat and drink along with useful information and phone numbers ie doctors, hospitals, dentists and other useful number etc. Clive and Helen the cottage owners aim is to ensure our guests have a memorable holiday.
