The fully equipped kitchen has a LPG cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave oven. The window to the front overlooks the courtyard, with further views of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

The separate snug is a favourite for those who wish to cuddle up or 'cwtch' as we say it here in Wales. A perfect little hideaway to unwind in, with the window overlooking the field to the rear.

Keepers Cottage has a flat screen LCD TV, with freeview channels, DVD player, DAB radio and free wifi access

The wet room, basin and toilet are downstairs.

Upstairs in the main bedroom, the beams have been beautifully preserved. The large wooden dowels and craftsmanship is on show. Despite the low beams, the bedroom has a kingsize bed with orthopaedic mattress, Egyptian cotton bed linen and cosy throws.

The twin bedroom has two adult single beds, with our quality Egyptian cotton bed linen. Again the handmade beams and dowels are on show taking you back to the bygone years.

Outside, a wooden table and chairs, with large parasol means you can enjoy the tranquillity of the area and listen to the birdsong at any time of the day.

“Fantastic dog friendly place”

what a great place to stay, from the moment you arrive Lee and family couldn't have been more helpful.from the cleanliness of the cottage to the little extras left to make you stay special. one of the best dog friendly places we have stayed. the honesty shop a great idea. ideally placed for the beaches of Amroth, Pendine and Tenby, certainly on our re-visit list.

Thank you for your great review of Keepers Cottage. We are very touched that you feel we are one of the best dog friendly stays and pleased to hear you wish to return. The area is very dog friendly with lovely beaches and local pubs which happily accept pets. We are glad you had a great time exploring the coast such as Tenby and we look forward to seeing you again. “Absolutely Brilliant!”

We loved our stay at Coastal Wood. The cottage is fantastic, well equiped and comfortable. We were there at Easter and the kids were over the moon when they went to their room and found an easter egg on their beds. A great welcoming touch. There was cake and scones for the adults! Lee and Abby are lovely and nothig is too much trouble. there is a fantastic honesty larder with things you may have forgotten at the shops, along with a great selection of DVDs and games. The cottage is located next to some truly stunning beaches. If you like cycling, get ready for some fantastic rides, including some big climbs! We loved every minute of our stay and would highly recommend Coastal Wood.

Thank you for taking the time to write a great review of your stay in Keepers Cottage. We really appreciate your feedback. It was a truly lovely week and it seemed the sun just kept shining .... perfect weather for a family Easter break. “Absolutely beautiful with real care and attention to the accommodation”

Reviewed 16 Mar 2015

Lovely location, exceptional accommodation where the owners have thought of everything. The bed linen and towels are good quality which very often shows the standard of the place you are staying. You can see and feel that a lot of care has gone into these properties and the standard is excellent. Even a little shop that you can go into at anytime with an honesty box. You do need a car unless you like long walks as it is a couple of miles to Amroth from the cottages. A great couple looking after you with no intrusion but helpful and available when needed. We will be going back for a longer stay, a pleasure to be there and looking forward to our return.

Thank you for your review of Keepers Cottage. We really appreciate your kind words. We are really pleased that you and your family enjoyed your break here and we are glad you chose to stay whilst visiting a local wedding. It was lovely meeting you and we look forward to seeing you again. Kindest regards, Lee and Abi Coastal Wood Holidays

“Lovely cottage on farm in Pembrokeshire Coast Park”

Reviewed 4 Mar 2015

What a lovely surprise this cottage was on a farm tucked away down a quiet lane . Quaint and full of character yet equipped with everything you might need for your holiday; a well equipped kitchen, including such things as foil and bin bags, beautiful quality linen and towels, even a hairdryer! There were home made cakes, tea and coffee for when you arrived. The owners Lee and Abby were friendly and helpful and have obviously worked hard to create this lovely group of holiday homes. Having two dogs we found the freedom to roam in the fields and woods wonderful, the cottage was dog friendly with bowls provided , even a spare bed available if required. We liked it that dogs were confined to the ground floor and kept off furniture as this maintained the sense of a quality holiday avoiding the grottiness of other places we have stayed that allow pets.

Thank you so much for your review of Keepers Cottage. It's great to know you and your family enjoyed your stay here, as well as your dogs. The area is fantastic for dogs. There are some wonderful dog friendly beaches and some lovely places to visit. Pendine Sands is always popular with it's seven mile long beach! Thank you for choosing to stay in Keepers Cottage, and we hope to see you again Kindest regards, Lee and Abi Coastal Wood Holidays

I give top marks to Keepers Cottage because it was so well equipped, clean and comfortable. Beautifully furnished and had a lovely welcome from the owner who left us lovely cakes, milk and even chilled water in the fridge for our arrival. This accommodation is top with only one other on our list of self catering stays.

Thank you so much for your review of Keepers Cottage. It is lovely knowing you enjoyed your stay here. The recent sunny weather is fantastic for guests such as yourselves who seemed to enjoy exploring this beautiful area of West Wales. We hope to see you again. “A perfect family holiday”

Reviewed 13 Aug 2014

Stayed with partner, children (10 & 6) and dogs. A beautiful location within easy access of plenty of attractions (Tenby, Oakwood, Folly Farm, etc). The cottage was lovely and nothing was too much trouble for the owners. This is the second time we have stayed and we will definitely be back.

It was great seeing you all again. It is a great compliment to us knowing you have decided to stay here again for your family holiday. One of the fondest memories I have this year must have been when I could hear uncontrollable 'belly laughing' coming from the rope swing. Wonderful to hear and made me smile ... a lot. We are pleased that you love this area for your holiday and are still exploring it despite knowing it so well. We look forward to seeing you again if you are ever back this way. Kindest regards, Lee and Abi Coastal Wood Holidays

“Peace and quiet guaranteed”

Reviewed 7 Jul 2014

We stayed at keepers cottage in early June our party consisted of myself, my wife, my mother who is in her eighties and our two year old border collie. The cottage is one of five barn conversions and has been beautifully done to a high standard. The cottages are located on a former farm in a vey quiet area near Amroth. Very beautiful area and very peaceful. The owners are a young family who are very friendly and helpful. There are also no shortage of places to walk the dog. Highly recommend it.

Thank you for your review of Keepers Cottage. It's great you had a good holiday in Keepers Cottage with your Mum, especially at it was her birthday whilst staying here. The area is great for dog owners, with dogs being allowed on all beaches and attractions such as Colby Woodland Gardens and Caldey Island allowing dogs. We are pleased you had a lovely time exploring the area. Thank you for staying at 'Coastal Wood' and we hope to see you again. Kindest regards, Lee and Abi Coastal Wood Holidays

“A wonderful week in Wales!”

Reviewed 8 Jan 2014

We stayed at Keeper’s Cottage for a week, over New Year, with our two children & dog. The cottage was very clean and tidy and extremely well furnished. We were very impressed with the attention to detail both with the decoration and little touches such as; Christmas selection boxes on the children’s beds, age appropriate toys in the room, chilled water and milk in the fridge and the amazing Christmas cake, Christmas pudding and mince pies placed on the table to greet us on our arrival. The rooms were lovely and beds super comfy. Having the 'snug' room with extra TV was great with a teenager. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed – a real home from home. My young daughter was pleased there were egg cups for her fresh local ‘dippy eggs’ in the mornings. Despite the windy and wet weather there was still so much to do and explore. The location is ideal being so close to the beach and with great woodland walks on the doorstep (the dog was exhausted every night!). We also visited nearby Amroth, Tenby and Saundersfoot. The Diddly Shop, in the wood store, provided us with the loan of board games and DVDs for the evenings and an abundance of local information to plan our days out. There was also hot chocolate and treats on offer, which very much pleased my son! I cannot express enough just how welcoming Abi and Lee were. They were also so helpful with local information and handy hints and tips to make our stay in the area as enjoyable as possible. Thank you so much for making our stay so wonderful. We will definitely be returning!

Thankyou so much for your review Sophia, it's wonderful receiving such lovely feedback and we are so glad that we were able to cater for all your needs. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay despite the 'wild weather'! We hope you will return again soon. Abi & Lee Coastal wood holidays.

We all loved the extra room known as the snug with its own comfy sofa and t.v. it gave us all some extra space essential with teenagers!! Outside Lee and Abi had decorated with pretty twinkling lights, so lovely and festive. The walks in the local area are interesting and varied. Behind the cottages are wonderful walks through a forest.A few mins away by car is Amroth a seaside village and it is here that the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast Path starts. You can also have great fish and chips at the Pirate cafe in Amroth which are delicious! We would love to stay at Keepers again and would have no hesitaition in reccommending it to anyone considering it for a really relaxing break..

“Stunning location, beautiful cottages, fantastic holiday”

Reviewed 17 Sep 2013

My Wife, 2 year old daughter and I stayed in Keepers Cottage at Coastal Wood Holidays for a week. We had such a relaxing, peaceful holiday which was made so special by the extra effort that is put in by the delightful owners Abi and Lee. The cottage has been lovingly refurbished to a very high standard, giving them a modern look but in keeping with the cottage feel such as the exposed wooden beams. So much thought has gone into the cottage, and it has everything you can think of plus more! Lovely comfortable beds with Egyptian cotton bedding, homemade welsh cakes, waffles, milk, tea and coffee on arrival, toys and books for the children which were tailored to the age of our daughter, plus DVDs and board games for the adults. The location in stunning, so peaceful and secluded, yet still close to many of the local attractions. Tenby, Saundersfoot, Pendine and Amroth all have beautiful beaches, cafes, and shops and are within a few miles. Also Folly Farm and Blue Lagoon water park are great for the whole family and very close by. If you don't fancy venturing out for the day the woods around the cottages will keep you entertained for hours and there are walking trails which will keep you fit. There is a little shop onsite which has many homemade treats, as well as award winning local produce all at very reasonable prices. There are also washing/drying facilities, DVDs, books and leaflets on local attractions in the 'Wood Store' room which is a great idea. Overall a fantastic holiday which we highly recommend

Thank you for your review of Keepers Cottage. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay here, and had a great time exploring all the surrounding area. 'Keepers' is great for young families especially with the extra snug room, so it is lovely to hear that it suited you and your family. We hope to see you again. Kindest regards, Lee and Abi Coastal Wood Holidays
