“Lovely cottage didn't want to leave” We were enchanted as soon as we saw the cottage it's so cute. There was everything you need (a cushion for outside chairs would be good though) we had our meals in the garden as it was quite hot when we were there. We also made use of the sun lounges too my wife commented on the shed so tidy!. The welcome pack was good many thanks for that, we used the local shops and bars all really good but the outstanding meal we had was at the Ty Gwyn Hotel. Thank you Katie for a fabulous break at your beautiful cottage and we hope to return soon. Bev and Chris

“Amazing views” Stayed at Ty Llewellyn and had a great fews days away, the accommodation was lovely, Elywn really quick to respond to any queries we had, and the views were amazing! Great to be away from it all up the side of Moel Siabod and great for mountain walking starting from the cottage.

“Relaxing, down-to-earth cottage close to the mountains and sea” We have visited this cottage many times now. It is in a perfectly peaceful valley which allows visitors access to the hidden beauty of the less touristy side of Snowdonia. We love the comfortable furniture & have begun think of it as a home from home. Our kids love it too. Accessibility to the beaches, especially Criccieth, is fantastic. Caernarfon is 20 mins away so we can stock up with shopping on our way.We love eating breakfast in the garden! It's also been very useful to have a washing machine. We have very happy memories of every holiday we have had here and would love to come back as soon as we can. One thing I would say is that families with small kids need to be aware that the stairs are quite steep and narrow so you may not find a stairgate that fits, but we always just push a chair across the stairway.

“COMFORTABLE, CLEAN and perfect for us!” Great location for the shops, restaurants etc. and of course the walking. So our stay was terrific, we climbed Snowdon despite the weather and had the warmth and comfort of Llys Eryri to come home to. We had everything we needed and more!

“Wonderful situation; well equipped.” Wonderful location a few hundred feet up the main trail to Siabod. Good for serious walking, but also more gentle strolls. Very well equipped cottage, with small but good kitchen and good dining/sitting area. Very efficient heating (underfloor in main area). We were lucky in that the weather was sunny for most of the week - we made the most of the countryside around the cottage. Although it is part of a terrace we didn't hear our neighbours and hardly noticed thier presence.

“Just across road from the sea” Second visit just perfect location in Criccieth. Sat and watched the sea in all weather's from balcony. The house has everything you need and all of a very high quality. Good restaurant very close by. Good for rock pooling, swimming and even ventured out in the dingy.

“Very good accommodation” I stayed there for 2 nights. It was really enjoyable. The owner's instructions to find the chalet was helpful. The chalet and the entire holiday site was simply brilliant and good place to spend with kids. I look forward to go there again.

“Peaceful and unique” Our second visit. It's so well positioned in Snowdonia, and yet so delightfully isolated. A beautifully presented building, with a much better appointed kitchen than many self-catering places we've stayed. Booking arrangements are all fine, and it's very reasonably priced for what you get. Will definitely return.

“Great stay in a cosy cottage full of character!” We loved pretty much everything about our stay here (apart from the weather). The cottage is not huge, but enough room for the 4 of us (two adults, two children 8 and 10), clean and well-equipped. We enjoyed the wood burning stove in the lounge, and the owners gave us all the wood we wished for. We enjoyed eating out in our garden, and the owners let our kids play in their garden with trampoline and a zip wire. The location is away from the crowds, beautiful surroundings for hilly walks directly from the cottage.

“My stay” After staying at your logging cabin on the 14th-16th I've decided to write a review. Me and my 2 friends really enjoyed staying, it's in a nicely situated area, the logging cabin was clean, tidy, well kept and had everything we needed for a short stay. I will definitely be looking to stay again for future trips Many many thanks.

“Fabulous little cottage” Really fabulous little cottage, honestly could not have wanted more, from the cake on the table when we arrived ( hope that's not supposed to be a secret surprise?!) to coffee with a seriously good view, comfy spacious beds, and all those 'little things' (e.g. A hair dryer) on hand when needed. Didn't get a chance to explore the town, but will take that as an invitation to return another day. Many thanks also to Alan- although we didn't get to meet you in person, was great to know how close and available you were should any problems have arisen. All best :)

“Barmouth Stsy” The best accommodation we have had so far in 10 years of coming to Barmouth. A little expensive however really worth it as the grounds are amazing and views on a rainy morning makes the accommodation a good place to stay in. There is literally everything you could think of there. I'd love to stay there again. The pictures do not do the place justice. Wonderful and great owners too. So helpful. Very positive experience and was a great stay for our family.

“fabulous Location.” This property is in a fabulous location, wonderful access to great walks.( the reason for our trip ) We were 6 female friends so having a 5 bedrooms between us was great. All rooms are spacious... One of the bedrooms has 2 sky lights.. I personally found this annoying as I was woken i the morning by the daylight at 4am.. It would be nice if a blackout blind could be arranged for this. ( I ended up putting a headband around my eyes each night.. helped ) The kitchen is spacious with a lovely large table, we never used the dining room. Although towels are provided I would suggest you take your own if possible as they are rather small and not many offered . No hairdryers so make sure you bring your own. ( we had asked this before arrival so wasn't an issue to us ) Outside the area is lovely for sitting although some more outdoor seating would be a great idea, particularly if the max number of people are staying. Also very very few coat hangers, I would really request that the owner increase these please. John was really quick to reply to any questions we had. Overall I would recommend and would return. I would just like to see a little bit more attention to detail.

“Perfect couples hideaway” Can`t speak highly enough of this magnificent lodge ! It is a true home from home. Set down a quiet lane and in a location that is so very tranquil and peaceful. We have now stayed here many times and never get tired of the fantastic views. Superbly equipped in every way you could wish with a lovely cozy feel. Many times have we settled to watch a film on the television but have found our eyes watching what is going on in the estuary and not being able to concentrate on the tele...five star +++

“Lovely house in a great location.” A lovely house, well furnished and ideal for a family holiday - children are well provided for with lots of toys and games provided. It is a short 5 minute walk to the beach. Aberdaron is a small village located on a coastline which is totally unspoilt; great for walkers and families looking for a traditional sea-side holiday. I liked being able to contact the owner direct.

Converted chapel accommodation in Morfa Bychan with golf nearby
Morfa Bychan converted chapel
- 2 bedrooms
- 1 bathroom

“Good value” The cottage was comfortable with all the necessary amenities. Everything was spotless. Unfortunately the heavy rain had knocked off the internet, but after contacting the owner and climbing into the attic, I was able to resolve that problem. We had very heavy rain which was quite loud on the bedroom velux windows. There is a convenience store and chip shop very close by to stock up on essentials. Overall this was good value for money. The beach is a 12 minute walk away and is golden, beautiful and very long.

“Amazing!” Our stay at St Mary's was absolutely amazing. We were met and made so welcome by the owner Peter. The accommodation was of the highest standard and shows the love and care Peter has put into the converted chapel - it really was a delight to stay in - after being out visiting various places of interest or coming back down off the mountain it was just like going home... it really is such a nice place. I would highly recommend St Mary's and can say without hesitation you will not be disappointed in any way. Peter was available at the end of telephone if needed, however, the only time we needed to ring was to let him know that we were going. All you need to cook for yourselves or entertain yourselves was at hand - the chapel is very well equipped in every respect. We all had a fantastic stay and if I were to go back to that same area again, I would seek to book St Mary's as the place to stay.
