“Perfect” We have just returned from a lovely break at this lodge. Firstly, the lodge is super cosy, well equipped and spotlessly clean. It has everything you need to holiday comfortably. Steve, the owner gave some good advice prior to the holiday which came in handy! Secondly, the park is so peaceful and quiet, the rivers are beautiful and there is a handy field that you can take your dogs on. A walk over the swing bridge takes you to the grounds of Caer Beris Manor which are stunning and there’s a river way walk which takes you to Builth wells. The the little break was enjoyed by all and we hope to return in the future! Thank you!

“Beautiful location, fantastic cottage, wonderful relaxing place” We had a wonderful week in this beautiful cottage, everything is there which you could possibly need. The garden is perfect for sitting out in and enjoying the view whilst enjoying the peace and quiet. The binoculars left in the dining area are great to see the birds - amazing kites. The cottage itself is extremely comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped. There is a travel cot and booster seat for little ones. There is so much to do around the area from the small towns to explore such as Machynlyth, New Quay (there are boat trips from there) Aberdovey (which can be seen from the window across the estuary)Aberaeron to the larger town of aberystwyth. There are steam trains to go on, beaches to explore and the red Kite feeding place is amazing. There are plenty of goopd restaurants nearby if you don't want to cook, between the cottage and aberystwyth there was a pub which did a fantastic Sunday lunch which was very reasonable. Although relatively remote the cottage is still within easy access of shops etc for provisions. Primrose Cottage comes very highly recommended from us all - aged 2 to 50!

“Idyllic West Wales getaway, great location and perfect hosts.” We all had a wonderful time staying at the Hayloft, it was a beautiful place and the location was idyllic. We got to experience a true taste of country life, my son even got to help steer the tractor, something I think he'll never forget. Alicia and Nathan are so warm and welcoming, I'd highly recommend this stay and have done many times since we've got back.

“Soooooo relaxed from my week away in beautiful Windsor house” Just got back from our 2nd stay at Windsor house, and loved every minute. Again loved waking up and going to sleep with the sound of the sea, enjoyed eating breakfast dinner and tea al fresco on the decking. We had really hot weather this past week and was so good to have the beach just a few steps away to cool off in the sea! We were still on beach at 7.30/8 pm at night watching the sunsets! My parents and brother wife and kids stayed too and absolutely loved the house! We all did not want to come home. Never come back from a holiday feeling so relaxed! LOVE Borth and LOVE Windsor house! Can't wait to book again for next year!

“Far from the madding crowd !” We first appreciate the location so secluded in that fabulous valley;then the welcome and the house itself;its garden and the walks from the house It was great being welcomed in a warm house with flowers and a cake in the living-room,the house was comfortable and our hosts were very helpful;. Only the weather and therefore the fishing could have been better!

“A clean, pretty cottage that was perfect for us.” We're a family of two adults and two under 5's and the Little Twmp Barn was ideal for us. It's private and secluded, despite being on the owner's grounds. We only met the husband Martin, he was very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The downstairs has a great living space with all the amenities we could have wanted: TV, DVD, log burner, dining room, hot tub etc. The attention to detail was nice, and you got the feeling things weren't skimped on, ie nice leather sofas, decent crockery, etc. The grounds were big enough to kick a ball around, so the kids were happy. There are lovely views of the hills and while it was too cold to sit out for too long, I imagine the summer here must be bliss taking in all the surroundings. Upstairs had a funny-ish sort of layout, but it was great for us. You walk through the twin room to get to the double room. This was not a problem at all, as the kids were fast asleep after full long days and we could keep an ear out for them. My only criticism, and it's very minor, is that the downstairs shower room could do with updating. But really, it's not anything to put you off this great, self-contained accommodation, I would definitely recommend it.

“The Old Kiln is a wonderful cosy place in the centre of Wales” Perfectly linking the charm and cosy character of a traditional cottage to the comfort of a modern home, the Old Kiln is an outstanding apartment. We felt home from the first moment. Sitting on the veranda you can watch and listen to the brook flowing in front of the house. From the maisonette living room you have a nice view through the large Window and in the second floor you find a very good equipped kitchen where you do not miss anything for cooking. The bath room has a big shower and a heater which warms your towels. The apartment was perfectly clean and decorated with love. The location in the middle of Wales is great, because all different landscape characters of Wales are nearby. We visited the Old Kiln during our honeymoon trip and truly enjoyed our stay. We like to come back at our first anniversary. Thank you for sharing this marvellous place!
