From the owner

Chalet 179 (Curlew's Nest) is a charming Self-catered holiday chalet. Sleeps 4. Close to Padstow set in 27 acres of parkland.

There is ample free parking in the designated areas.

Outside the chalet is a decked area with a large picnic table which is ideal for alfresco dining

Please be aware that smoking is not permitted in the chalet or on the decked area.

The Kitchen

​The kitchen has modern units and is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, ‘fridge, washing machine, microwave oven etc. There is a dining table with four chairs and enough cutlery, crockery, and glasses for four people.

​The Lounge

In the lounge area, there is a three-seat sofa and a chair, a wall-mounted TV/DVD player. Heating is provided by two oil-filled radiators. There is a selection of Ordnance Survey maps and books with walks for most abilities which are available to borrow.

The Bedrooms

There are two bedrooms, one with a standard double bed and one with twin beds. Both rooms have a wardrobe and a small chest of drawers. There are also bedside tables and lamps and a hairdryer.

Bed linen and towels are provided.

The Bathroom

The fully tiled bathroom has a shower cubicle, washbasin, toilet, heated towel rail, and underfloor heating.

On-Site

On the Atlantic Bays Holiday Park there is a shop, laundry, and children’s (under 12) play area. The Conservatory Bar is open during the main season but due to the current Covid-19 regulations opening may be sporadic. The chalet owners cannot be held responsible for the non-availability of any of the site facilities.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Barry (the owner) a message.

If Barry (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
