Fully equipped kitchen leading in to conservatory/dining room with large farmhouse table seating up to 11 persons.Large traditional lounge with high beamed ceiling and open fireplace. Light and spacious reading lounge with glass bi-fold doors .One bathroom with large bath ,electric shower and separate toilet. Second bathroom with heated towel rail ,sink unit, power shower and toilet.

The grounds extend on all sides of the property totaling almost half an acre, with both front and rear gardens.The front garden includes several towering palm trees, the rear has two terraced lawns with trees and scattered flower beds. There is space on the gated drive for 3 cars.The wooden deck and patio run the whole length of the house overlooking the estuary and also lead onto the garden. A new outside heated shower, toilet room with a sink and covered drying area follow round from the patio. There is also a large utility room with a freezer ,washing machine,tumble dryer and victorian airer.

Due to a meter drop from the patio to the garden , it may not be suitable for unsupervised young children

The St Ives / Lelant area
The village of Lelant is just 5 miles from St.Ives with its tiny cobbled streets filled with restaurants and numerous art galleries including the prestigious Tate gallery and Barbara Hepworth Museum. St Michaels Mount is on the south coast approx 8 miles from Lelant . It can be reached from the mainland along a causeway at low tide or by boat when the tide is high. Lelant , Hayle, St.Ives and Carbis Bay have some of the best beaches around with golden sands and clear waters suitable for surfers and sunbathers alike. There are 4 places to eat in the village ( 3 of them Pubs) all within walking distance of Little haven.
The West Cornwall Links Golf Course is a few minutes drive from the house and for those keen to explore the area by cycle, Hayle offers bicycle hire and the local area also offers horse riding facilities.

Little Haven is a fabulous home from home in the lovely village of Lelant. Spacious, very comfortable and really well equipped, its a cut above your average self catering holiday home. The outside space is particularly lovely when the sun shines - the deck area is a real sun trap and there's a large garden with lovely estuary views. The location is perfect - in Lelant itself you've got a pub and restaurants within easy walking distance and of course the fabulous beach. To avoid having to park in St Ives you can hop on the train and there are no end of beaches and attractions to visit plus superb walks on the Coastal Path. The St Ives to Zennor stretch (about 3-4 hours) is highly recommended. |

Little Haven is the perfect holiday location. It is in a beautiful setting with views of the estuary. It is spacious and has everything that you need for a great holiday. It is plenty big enough for socialising or for escaping for some time on your own. I would love to visit there again despite the long journey! It is definitely worth it. |

The property was perfect for our stay. The lounge with Bi-fold doors was lovely to meet in the morning whilst eating breakfast and looking out across the estuary. The living room was great to unwind after a hard days surfing (or beach lazing) and the spacious dining table meant all 9 of us could eat comfortably together. The gas BBQ was excellent, and we certainly made the most of it when the sun was out. The garden was lovely, well maintained and full of charm. The outdoor shower came in handy too particularly when scrubbing off the last of the sand from Carbis bay, Gwithian and Porthminster Beaches before entering the house. All the bedrooms were furbished to a high standard throughout and the use of the washer room meant we could clean our clothes mid week. Our holiday in general was brilliant; we had so much fun together as a group and staying in such a beautiful place helped us relax and enjoy ourselves. Having stayed in many places in Cornwall and South Wales I would rate Little Haven the best, we will definitely be back!!!! |
