This gorgeous property has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathroom/shower rooms. Situated on the crest of the hill the house offers uninterrupted views out to sea from its large picture windows and decked areas. The home is equipped to luxury 5 star rental standards and offers all the amenities that you could wish for in an elegant contemporary setting.

The house is finished to a high specification with designer kitchen & worktops plus under-floor heating throughout. The commanding location of the house provides an ideal vantage point to watch boats sail by; from the decking in the summer months, or in the living room beside the stylish wood burning stove during the winter.

To keep the children occupied a Sony PS3 has been provided with a selection of games.

*Please note there is no parking next to this property. You are able to drop off luggage & collect at the beginning and end of your stay. It is about a 100 yard walk / 70 steps up to the property

The West Country / Cornwall region

Talland Bay lies between Looe and Polperro and is one of the most memorable and secluded coves along the coastline of South Cornwall. It has three small beaches flanked by a rocky foreshore and a beautiful undeveloped coastline.
The quiet hamlet of Talland consists of a scattering of houses and cottages and an ancient church, away from the busy tourist areas further to the north and west. The idyllic bay is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, forms part of the Heritage Coast Cornwall, and was once renowned for smuggling.

The Bay community, set on a secluded hillside with direct access to the shore, is a haven of tranquillity, so rarely found in such an accessible location. It is a perfect location for walking, fishing and cycling or just relaxing and enjoying the views.

The Polperro / Talland Bay area

The Southwest Coastal Path gives wonderful cliff-top walks east to the fishing port of Looe or west to the picture-postcard village of Polperro, one of the prettiest harbours in Cornwall. Both Looe and Polperro have many excellent restaurants and cosy pubs with local seafood, of course, a speciality.

The area is home to stunning golf courses including Looe, Lostwithiel, the internationally renowned St. Mellion and the dramatic cliff-top courses of Carlyon Bay and Whitsand Bay.

Within a short drive lies Fowey with its picturesque harbour and sailing centre and further inland is the Eden project, whose futuristic “biomes” contain plants from around the world and which is the most visited tourist destination in Cornwall.

For those in search of a faster pace, a 40 minutes drive brings you to Newquay, home to the Blue Reef Aquarium, Newquay Zoo and the vibrant surf scene at Fistral Beach.

We are a 40 minute drive from Plymouth, 45 minutes from Newquay and a little over 4 hours from London. Plymouth is well served by frequent high-speed trains from Bristol (2 hours) and the rest of the country (London 3-4 hours). Air Southwest operate year-round flights to Plymouth or Newquay airports from London (Gatwick & Stansted), Leeds/Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dublin
