“Fantastic - modern and clean” Stayed at the studio ( The end part of the barn) for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. The apartment is new and spotlessly clean, slightly larger than the pictures suggest and in a very very quiet location. Everything you need was there on arrival and indeed so were some scones with conserve and clotted cream. Towels and bedding are Marks and Spencers quality if not the real articles. All of the accommodation is finished to a high standard and well insulated so as not to hear any noise whatsoever from the couple with children who occupied the other end of the barn during our stay. The garden is totally private with access through your own front door or by way of a lockable back door; therefore you aren't overlooked and can relax in the hot tub and garden in privacy. The tub was heated for the full duration of the visit and was ready on arrival. The owners are friendly, but leave you to go about your holiday without being obtrusive. Without doubt I will be back and recommending it to friends. You can even watch TV while relaxing in bed!! - Have fun.

“A little bit of Heaven in Devon” We booked the roundhouse to celebrate my Mum's 50th Birthday and it did not fail to deliver. The roundhouse is a lovely property and there was plenty of room for all members of the family including our young children and babies. Before booking the roundhouse Sue was on hand to answer any of our questions which I found very helpful. The facilities at Combrew are fantastic. The pool is a very lovely 36 degrees which meant that the children could stay and play as long as they wanted. In addition there is also the play park and the animals which I think add a lovely touch. I would not hesitate in recommending this to anyone and also cannot wait for another occasion for the family to get together.

“Lovely cottage in quiet surroundings with plenty to do in the area” This was our second stay in Rose Cottage and we loved the new bathrooms that have been put in since our last visit. Its a lovely, spacious cottage with everything you could need. The facilities on site are really good so you don't have to go anywhere if you just want to relax and unwind. We had good weather so we did get out and about in the area and there was plenty to do and some good restaurants for the days we didn't feel like cooking. The Tuckers are a lovely, welcoming family and very helpful if you need anything without being intrusive. Couldn't fault anything about our stay and we'll probably be back next year.

“Fabulous relaxing holiday with all you need for a self catering hols.” Courtyard Cottage is a lovely place to stay. If you have children it's a must place to stay. There is a gorgeous heated indoor pool which my daughter loved. There are chickens, goats and rabbits which we fed everyday and a play park too. The bedrooms are great both en-suite. The cottage has everything you need and very clean and tidy. We will definitely be back!!!

“Ideal location for walking, cycling and shopping with a cosy cottage to return to” We stayed for a weekend and enjoyed walking from Fremington Quay along the Tarka Trail to Instow. The Instow Arms had a lovely setting looking out over the beach. The Cafe at Fremington is also worth a visit for the cakes! The cottage itself was warm and cosy - clean - spacious bathrooms. We enjoyed the wonderful pool and sauna area. Returned home feeling relaxed and refreshed.

“Perfect !” The Hayloft was absolutely perfect in every way, spotlessly clean and really well appointed, our 2 dogs were in doggie heaven with a completely safe enclosed garden and all the fields in front of us to have a run, had some lovely evenings relaxing On the terrace with the BBQ on the go ! “Beautiful Thatched Cottage in a lovely location” The cottage was perfect for us just a short walk from the beach at Putsborough where we were able to walk our dog in peace and there were plenty of other beaches nearby if ever we fancied a change. We have stopped in Woolacombe a few times previously but found it a lot more relaxing here. The cottage is well equipped with a lovely kitchen and cosy lounge with a log fire. It would be great to come back here in the summer and enjoy the gardens.

“Perfect for a big family holiday” If you need a big house with off-road parking, in Dartmouth, this one is well worth considering. With five bedrooms and four bathrooms it is a flexible arrangement. The only downside might be that it is located quite a way up a hill, with some very narrow access roads. Best to follow the owners recommended route. The kitchen and dining area is a good size and very well equipped.

“Fabulous - will stay longer next time!” What an amazing place this is! We had an off season short break and are delighted we found such a haven that reflects our eco values. Rural woodland nature at its very best in an incredible Devon setting. Angela met us and gave us a truly warm welcome on arrival. She took us on a tour with lots of information on the property and area. She told us the house is some 500 years old and set in its own grounds. This should give you an idea of the building itself with rustic beams and heavy wooden doors. Fortunately very clear directions on finding Coombe are sent on booking as you are in the heart of deepest Devon yet easy access from nearby Tiverton and main roads. We particularly liked the green element here which is quite clear that they do from a genuine long held interest and not just a nod at trying to be eco friendly. Lots of recycling and we were even given a peek at the incredible eco boiler used to heat the water. The Annexe is beautifully furnished in the traditional manner in keeping with such a historic property. This is not your "mod bungy" but a totally unique property tended with total love and care by the owners and evident at every turn. We plan to return in the summer months to use the pool and hot tub. Sitting in the tub looking at the trees must be quite an experience. You really are "away from it all" at Coombe and we really enjoyed a peaceful break in glorious surroundings with such charming hosts on hand should we need them. Thank you for such a lovely visit.

“Relaxing family holiday” We stayed at Kingfisher Retreat for the second week of the Olympic sailing, and the week after that. As soon as we arrived we felt at home. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the lodge is very well kitted out. Our two boys (13 & 9) got their own bathroom, and good use was made of the washer/dryer. The park is a wonderful setting with each lodge just far enough apart from its neighbours that you feel suitably private. There is a lovely decked terrace to sit out on of an evening, and we enjoyed many morning coffees there too. Towards the end of our second week we were so chilled we weren't waking up until gone 10 and became quite worried about having to go back to work! All in all a brilliant place to stay, and I hope this doesn't become our only visit.
