“Midsomer house” Fantastic house that made a great break for all in our party , young and old. The children loved the conservatory area with pool table and hot tub on the deck. The bbq hut was a massive hit and more than big enough for us all to gather in (15 people) and have a bite to eat and relax over the fire. Brett the owner always replied to any emails or requests and provided lots of info on the local area before arrival. All in all a great house for a big gathering

“Excellent stay” Lovely place to stay, views was amazing. Owners were very nice and looked after us well. Children loved it here and seeing/feeding the animals. Caravan was lovely and everything you needed was there. If you after peace and quiet this is the perfect place didn’t hear a thing. We will definitely be coming back again.

“Home away from home” What an incredible time we've had. The cottage is stunning, cozy and immaculate. Even though we very much visited in Cornwall's off season, we've had a fantastic break. Everything you could need is in the cottage and, while my fiancé couldn't be torn away from the log fire or fancy coffee machine, I appreciated that everything inside is clean and of a great quality - each item has been thoughtfully chosen for the guests' convenience and comfort. I put us on television ban but there are two TVs and a DVD player but, if like us (me), you are there for quality family time and relaxation, you can borrow a book, game or jigsaw to enjoy in front of the fire - you can even swap your own book for a new one when you've finished. We had some great meals helped by the well equipped kitchen - thanks for the dishwasher - and there's plenty of space inside and out for dining. What makes this cottage stand out from anywhere else I have rented are the hosts who cannot do enough for you. We were welcomed with milk and eggs, freshly baked bread and cream teas to be washed down with locally sourced drinks and, on my fiancé's birthday, Tracy made us a delicious cake. Our dog enjoyed cuddles and biscuits and I enjoyed the great idea of a very cheaply priced minibar in the summer house where you can have a glass of wine whilst chatting to the resident duck at the fishing pond. Thank you very much for a wonderful break!

“Chalet in perfect location for exploring Cornwall!” Stayed in the May half term, family fo four. The chalet is in a great location. Several beaches in 10 min drive. We loved Harlyn Bay, family friendly. You get a map when you arrive at reception with all the beaches and their facilities which is useful. We did a day trip to St Ives, drove to St Erth and caught the train in (amazing coastal views). Padstow harbour is only 8 mins away as well. We did visit the Newquay aquarium on a rainy day, don't bother! It was really expensive and only took about half an hour to walk round! The site itself was really quiet (which suited us) there was some entertainment in the evenings but we didn't see these as they were at 9pm so too late for our little ones. There is a small shop and a bar with a playground! The chalet itself was nice and clean, the kitchen was really well equipped with lots of cleaning products. The only negative were that the double bed was very small with a firm mattress but was still comfortable. The owners were great in communication and we would definitely come to stay again!
