From the owner

Our caravan is situated in a quiet section of White Acres Holiday Park, North Cornwall. Approximately 6 miles from Newquay town. It has a gated entrance for security. However it is only a short walk to the site shop, entertainment venue, restaurant and take away. There is an indoor heated pool, sauna, jacuzzi and gym close by. You may park next to the caravan, beside the deck, where there is a picnic table.

Inside there are 3 bedrooms, sleeping up to 8 persons. A double, 2 x twin rooms, and a lounge settee that opens into another double bed. The caravan has central heating, double glazing, a separate toilet, a shower room, and comfortable lounge and dining area for up to 8 people.

There is a tv that has all free view channels, plays DVD’s , and CD’s.

The stereo unit plays CD’s, audio tapes, and receives Pirate radio, local station, with weather traffic events, etc. Also other usual radio channels.

The Wi-fi signal is good for any devices you may wish to bring. Wi-fi can be purchased from Wifinity., on the site.

Caravan has a full sized gas cooker, and all equipment to prepare meals as you may do at home. Microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle and toaster.

PLEASE NOTE you will need to bring your own covers for our quilts and pillows, and bottom sheets for the mattresses . Also your own towels for the kitchen,and shower and toilet. We recommend also a towel mat to step on after showering.

This area is perfect for Families.

STRICTLY NO PETS, OR HEN/ STAG PARTIES , OR STUDENT GROUPS ALLOWED.

There is a hairdryer, steam iron, board, and vacuum cleaner.

The laundrette is a short walk , on site. The Venue leisure centre has a restaurant, games area with bowling, pool table and bar, lounge serving Costa coffee, with tv. Sky Sports events are shown on the tv’s in this area. Wi-fi available free in here up to 6.00 pm. After that time you would need a Leisure Pass if you wish to use this area. There are live shows every evening in the theatre, bar room. Children’s clubs are included with different ages catered for.

Leisure Passes for 2024=All ages £18.50 peak season for a full week.£16.65 for less than a full week. . £10.00 for a full week in low season, £9.00 for part of a week. Under 3’s are free.

Peak season is mid July- beginning of September. Last week of May and last week of October.

These are valid for one week, available at Reception building near the site entrance. These passes allow access to all clubs and leisure facilities on the site. I am told they are very good value, by previous guests.

I do not include them in my accommodation as not all guests need to use them.

There is an indoor/outdoor water park a short drive/ bus ride from this site.

All big supermarkets are a short drive from the site. Busses stop at the Park entrance, please ask in Reception for route information and timetables.

This area of Cornwall has some of the best beaches, there are 11 within a short drive from here. We are convenient for the airport, or travelling to Lands End, The Eden Project and Tintagel at the border of Devon.

We are glad you found the situation of our caravan with lovely views over the countryside as great as we do. Unfortunately the sofa bed had not been folded back into seat mode correctly , so had to be repositioned by a person familiar with it. The bath mat situation is difficult during COVID times, as I ask guests to bring their own towels and bath mat. A thick towel mat is what my Family use, hanging it up after the shower is done to dry out. I apologise if this was not suitable for your needs. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and found us the best value in Newquay !

On the 23 June this year we had the floors in the shower, toilet and hallway replaced, and new vinyl put down. In the 2 months up to your visit unfortunately not all guests must have remembered to use a towel mat on the shower floor and it has been left wet. I did ask in my information that guests bring their own towels, and it has not been a problem to my knowledge before now. I supplied my mobile phone number to you to report any problems, but I only heard about this after you had checked out. We have arranged to have the shower floor replaced again, in order to correct the problem. We are glad you found the position of our caravan excellent for your requirements when visiting Cornwall.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
